We bought a new Jayco in Februrary, left it with Camping World Byron, Ga. for repairs on the unit.
Took our jayco camping in April, noticed water coming in around the bottom of the slide so took it back to Camping world for repair and to repair a door that was uneven. After a month they finally fixed the door and said they could find no leaks. Took the unit to Florida in June, while there had leaks coming around the rail on the awning. While trying to clean the top of the slide noticed water would settle in the middle of the top of the slide.
Took the unit to CW June 29th, They put us off time and again even after talking to several managers including the Service manager (Jim Lingo). Finally after many phone calls they repaired the slide and told us to come pick it up yesterday (Sept. 29th) after three months of CW having he unit this time. Noticed we had a low tire so pulled the unit around and found a screw in it.
CW wanted to patch it but I insisted that they put a new tire on it. While removing the tire discovered a stripped lug bolt. So they had to fix the Lug bolt and steal a tire and rim from another unit. While waiting I discovered several screws laying around in the service area.
We have owned the unit for less than nine months with CW keeping it for repair for five of those months.
Hope to never go back to CW again especially with what the CW CEO said concerning Trump supporters not welcome there. Camping world is a pitiful company with a pitiful CEO.
