bought a new rv from camping world just 2 weeks ago. Salesman was helpful and very pleasant.
what happened was when we came to pick up the rv, the orientation was a joke, nothing was really explained he told us to watch u-tube. We decided to take the rv on a short break in trip to Estes Park. That's when things fell apart, the auto leveling did not work the jacks got stuck, so we called the service department, they missed with us all afternoon, when we finally called back was told the service department was closed for the weekend, we were left high and dry. Of course when we went into the service department on the following Monday they had a different story.
Our water connection did not work, there was a kink in the hose in the rv, of course this was never checked out before the rv was turned over to us. We were told at orientation that the rv and been checked from top to bottom and was ready to go. What a joke. We finally called Good Sam Roadside Assistance that was a whole other story.
after a day and a half someone finally came to check on the leveling problem, which could not be fixed, they did get the jacks up but they could do nothing else. On Monday the service department was no more help then they were on the phone. Camping world is a joke!!!! If I can keep one person from having a horrible experience this review will have been worth it.
We just want to get rid of the rv at this point but camping world will only give us a fraction of what we paid for the rv. Customer Service is a joke at camping world.
There are a lot of rv lots around the area I sure wish we had checked the other ones out. Would never recommend camping world and want nothing more to do with them.
