Camping World sells as 2015 and it really is on a 2014 Ford chassis; discovered this when we got our tag. Think this is a major lie.
bought a 2015/14 Class C, 28 ft. motor home. Drove to our son's; screws came loose, door wouldn't shut firmly, roll-down vent handle wouldn't hold the vent tight, wires dropped down from under coach, doors to storage wouldn't stay closed, and major was the truck air. We had continued on to our daughter's in Loris, SC, and all the way down from Greensboro, we had no air conditioning. Once there, called Camping World in Myrtle Beach, and informed them about the air. They told us they did not repair air conditioning and offered no solution We have Good Sam total road service. Returned home in a hot cab and took it to Camping World at Fletcher. No one really seemed really concerned. Salesman and manager had been let go or moved on.
With new people assisting, selected another one that I had originally chosen and was told it was too long...31ft. No difference in the feel and drive; selected it and when we signed the paperwork, we were paying approximately 10,000$ more than the sticker!!!! This is an issue that we have not resolved...sales and they charged us we just brought back and traded. It was a lemon and there was no way we were going to keep it with all those problems on the first trip. My husband is 83 and cannot deal with a bucket list item that doesn't work properly.
Just don't buy anything from Camping World and a Thor. Haven't been on a short/long trip with this one yet so it will be interesting. Already have leaks and rusting screws. Was happening with the other one also. When will we learn.....
