We would personally like to thank Judy, Mark, Jim, and Lance for going above and beyond to get our camper fixed in one day so that we could continue on with our trip. These guys are excellent. They work hard and treat you like family, so if you’re in Lubbock and need outstanding service stop at camping world service dept and ask for one of these people.

I hate to say this but you might want to read their reviews cause they are awful. You might want to watch the videos on YouTube about the CampingWorld scams.

Bought a brand new Motorhome and took it on our first trip. Expected a few things would need to be fixed and sure enough a valve was leaking on the water heater and needed to be replaced. I contacted their service dept and was told that they would repair it. They told me to bring it in and leave it and they would put it in line to repair. They said it would be 2 to 3 weeks. I said I could bring it in then but they said that's not how it works. I must leave it on their unsecured lot, in the weather for 3 weeks just to replace a valve.

Camping World in Lubbock, Texas - Worst service ever

CUSTOMER SERVICE DESERVES A NEGATIVE. Our RV has been in service since August 8th for tons of minor things. After repeatedly calling Kyle Bovee the service manager with no return phone calls and then Tom the General Manager over Camping World of Lubbock again with no return call we were told to go pick it up last week. We went to get it and the majority of the service items were not completed. We were told prior to pick up that our service guy and Kyle Bovee had went over it to ensure everything was done. So once again we left the RV. I have since followed up and left messages for Kyle Bovee, and Tom and a regional manager Scott Stonehill. No big surprise here but no one has called me back. I have texted my service guy that the repairs must be completed by Oct 1st for an upcoming trip so we shall see if that works but I am doubtful. If you have anywhere else to purchase or get service on your RV from I would do it!!!! CAMPING WORLD only cares about the sale warranty work is a joke. The guy doing the warranty work told me they only brought it into the shop 4 days before we got there to pick it up and told him it had to be ready so he was unable to complete it or do professional work!!!

Camping World in Lubbock, Texas - Very disappointed in service

Took my rv in for repairs in March they kept it for four weeks and repaired one 1 out of 4 items. About a one hour adjustment to controls of jacks. They said they would call me when parts came in waited 6weeks for a call Took back in July for repairs fixed 1 out of 4 items Became frustrated and took to do repairs myself. Took me three hours to complete. Never did understood that we had problems with our convection oven. They kept telling us our microwave worked fine. Great people to work with but lack basic technical and communication skills. My suggestion would be to have opportunity to talk directly to technician and include service manager.

Camping World in Sherman, Texas - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Sherman, Tx Camping World Worst experience ever!!! Two months ago we dropped our 2017 Jayco travel trailer off for electrical work. This is the second time the trailer has had electrical problems. With that being said I was called and told the trailer was ready for pick up, and to call 1 hour before arriving, which I did. Upon arrival we realized that someone had DROPPED our travel trailer! No one in the service department was even going to acknowledge that the entire tong of the trailer was torn up. The wheel was shattered, it's holder was mushroomed out, the jack was broke off, the frame bent, the propane bottle metal mount was broke off, and the propane lines underneath were flat. THEY DROPPED MY TRAVEL TRAILER AND TORE IT UP!!! All they wanted to offer us was a $50.00 in store credit, and a couple more months in the shop with them. I am soooo pissed off with this business, and would not recommend Camping World in Sherman Texas to anyone. I feel as though they owe me a new travel trailer, because there is no telling what is wrong on the inside since the outside was in such bad shape. Upon speaking with the General Manager, I realized he was not going to be of any help. When I messaged Camping World they just referred me back to the dealer in Sherman! WOW, they did not even take responsibility for wrecking the travel trailer I’M MAKING PAYMENTS ON!!! No one at the dealer will return my calls. I have told them that I do not want to take possession of this travel trailer, because then it is MY PROBLEM!

All this and all you have done is call (s) ? Why not go spit into the wind instead ?

It would be just as useful.

You must issue a formal written complaint, chock full of details but minus the emotion, and serve it via Certified Mail return receipt requested. You must establish a verifiable timeline of events and remedial attempts.

Well for your information the day of the event I spoke with the “General Manager” in person. He had no resolution for me.

Camping World in Lubbock, Texas - Refrigerator Issues

1.0
Details
Camping world of Lubbock has got to be the sorriest as far as customer service and how they value customers. Took my unit in back in March to have a refrigerator issue fixed. It was there for a couple weeks. I would call to check status on the issue to see what they found. Hardly was ever able to speak to anyone and got hardly no response via email. Finally they call and tell that the tech was able to find a panel that wasn’t suppose to be in the unit so they cut it out and said that fixed it. Never ran diagnostics to actually figure out if that was the problem but was told cutting the panel out fixed it. Drove from Midland, Tx which is 115miles away to pick up my unit. Got it home and set back up and plugged in and nothing. So ended up taking the unit to another dealer to let them look at. Found out after the diagnostic was run the cooling unit was out. Needless to say I called Campingworld back and the service manager Kyle said I could bring it back and let them fix it. I said I have had refrigerator issues before and apparently they weren’t fixed. He told me he would check into it and look for my invoices and call me back. I had to call back and there was never any invoices found to have shown refrigerator issues in the past and that GoodSam extended warranty only showed one and that was the day I called in about the recent one. I called Kyle back and he said he was having his bookkeeper looking for my invoices from the past and he would call me back by 10:00am the next morning. It have been 2wks and haven’t heard a word from no one. So needless to say don’t use Campingworld in Lubbock Tx for service. My wife and I are out over $2500.00 because the other shop does not deal with extended warranty.

Camping World in Lubbock, Texas - Very Dissatisfied

Took my rv to the Campingworld in Lubbock Tx for a refrigerator issue. They had it for about a month. Finally got in the shop because it wasn’t getting cold at all. Temp stayed on 60. The tech looked at it and supposedly said there was a panel there that wasn’t allowing the cooling fans to work. They cut out the panel and the fans began to work. Got the call that it was fixed and ready to pick up. Drove back to Midland Tx which is an hour and 1/2 plugged the rv back in and nothing. Decided to take it to a different dealer in Odessa Tx and they ran a diagnostic and found that the cooling unit was bad. Campingworld said they didn’t run a diagnostic because the fans and thermostat showed to be working. Now instead of paying my deductible through Good Sam it’s going to cost over $2,000 to fix because the new place doesn’t deal with extended warranty companies because they have been burned in the past. Campingworld is trying to say they aren’t liable. They aren’t standing behind their work.

Bought 2017 Sanibel in April 2017. Went on the road for two months, a few things (fell apart). Needed parts and touch up paint after returning home. Took defective parts to service/parts department. Had a million reasons why they couldn't help me. Replacement parts took about 10 minutes to replace. Camping World wanted me to fill out warranty papers and bring RV to dealership. We all know how THAT works out. Ended up BUYING the needed parts, still in need of touch up paint. Complained to the Manager in charge that day, Left and haven't been back ! You would think after buying an $82K RV you could get a little service. NOT. I wouldn't buy holding tank sanitizer from this outfit ! PT

Camping World in New Braunfels, Texas - Poorest service ever

I purchased a Monaco motor home from Camping World and used them for much of the maintenance on my last visit they had my motorhome for over 2 months and did not get it fixed. They tried three times to fix a leak in the slide out and finally said they were done trying. If Camping World gives you an appoint that only means they will take your RV. It does not mean they will start working on it. My experience is that the actual work will not begin for a long time. It seems ridiculous to an appointment which means nothing. I have sold my RV.
