When the service department replaced my bent electric jack, they took off the breakaway switch piece that attaches to the truck and didn't replace it.We drove off into busy traffic and the trailer brakes locked and began smoking.
Luckily another driver waved us to a stop and told us to get out. When I called Camping World, the service desk person knew immediately what the problem was and said she would send someone to help. She did, but it was not a Camping World employee -- it was just someone she knew. He replaced the piece.
Since then, we've heard nothing from Camping World, and I got no response from customer service.I am concerned this caused brake and tire damage, especially since we basically drug the trailer up a big hill with the brakes locked, but obviously it is just a "my bad" to Camping World.
