We purchased a 2018 Montana from Camping World Tulsa, 8/11/17 this is our VERY FIRST RV.We went thru the orientation of full unit, lights were on in refrigerator, but next morning we went to set temperature and it would never COOL or Freeze.
They should have made sure the Refrigerator was cooling before it left the lot. That was NOT DONE. We re-read, re-set, re-tried, waited to allow time to process, after a week of nothing we tried to call to speak with the orientation guy or anyone in the service department, but no one answered the phone after several attempts. My husband than had to drive back to Tulsa to speak to someone in service and was told we would have to wait 2 weeks, and that NO ONE in service could work on a Samsung Refrigerator.
We spoke with David our sales agent and he suggested some things, but we had already done those, he drove to our home in Claremore OK to check it out, did what we did and again waited. STILL NO COOLING. We are now going on 2 weeks, We contacted Samsung Dealers and they did send a man out, he stated there are not enough repair men here so they have to come from California. (Really) The line for Freon was cracked (stating these lines are NOT meant for movement and are very weak- crack very easily -NOT MEANT FOR RVing).
We are now waiting for a SPECIALIST who can work with Freon to repair, if that can't be done a NEW Refrigerator will have to be put in. HOW can you put a new one in without tearing up the kitchen. ?????? NOT HAPPY Why DO YOU put in Appliance's that your company can't work on and service and are NOT meant for RV's.
(really) I SUGGEST A BETTER OPTION. We are past 2 weeks of purchase can't use RV properly and WE ARE VERY UPSET. Still waiting for a call from Specialist and if it can be fixed. Made Reservations to use RV Sept 1st.
