Mitch and Zach followed through and kept me informed almost daily while a couple problems were repaired. Even though this was a used unit Camping World took care of everything.

After re-evaluating the service, other than the long process of getting my Title, they were very helpful in resolving this issue, so i want to say, they do care considerable for their customer, and disregard any other statements I made out of haste or impatience....

I bought a invisibrake system, Roadmaster tow brackets and a wiring kit for lights. As said $59 install. They ordered, called me my within the 8-10 day window for install, and did the work in the 2 day estimate. The bill was for cost of items, plus $59 each for installed items. No hidden charges. Camping World in Fayetteville, North Carolina - After a 3 month issue finally resolved

This is an update to my review of the Camping World in Hope Mills, N.C. After dealing with a camper we purchased over 3 months ago that leaked, had black mold and all around horrible camper, we finally have a resolution. The service and parts departments were horrible to deal with and we were lied to so many times they finally got a young man named Tanner Wright in there and he has really turned that place around. He's had to let some folks go and get new employees in there and they actually act like they like their jobs. Plus they're eager to help you which was not the experience in February when we bought the leaking camper. We picked up our camper yesterday and the two guys helping with the walk thru Ryan and Gunnar were absolutely amazing! Let's just say that when we purchased our camper in February we had the walk thru and handed the keys and were told have a good day. So there we were to put our hitch parts on the camper and hook it up and it was such a bad experience but yesterday made my week. It was refreshing to be treated like someone wanted to take care of us and make sure we had what we needed. Such a change from the first time. I sure hope they keep Tanner and his crew. Now for the Sales department/finance department Jonathan Napolitano was the salesman for the first camper we bought from there and he was great and helped out a lot. Granted he didn't know the problems with the black mold camper and when he found out last week he did jump in and help out. The finance department and the GM of this particular store weren't as eager to get a resolution. I suppose it was the dollar they were more concerned with. They just kept giving us the runaround and never wanted to help. They would be all concerned and promise to get back with you in a few minutes but those minutes never came. So the GM was relocated to another store or canned or whatever and they got in the Anthony guy who made more promises and just kept blaming corporate (and it could've been corporate) but after 2 weeks of dealing with him no resolution. I had gotten in touch with several people from corporate including the CEO and a couple of them had to step in and help the situation. I do know that he (Anthony) was working on things behind the scenes but there's NO follow up with this department. I don't want it to look like he wasn't helping. He was but I feel like they were going to take a hit on the molded camper money wise so they didn't want to do anything since we said that we aren't paying more money down which is what one of the finance guys (Paul) said and our payments would go up. Ummm no! If he had returned our calls when he said it wouldn't have made us so angry. So this past Saturday we just showed up at 8:30 a.m. and of course given the we'll be in touch in a little while, we said we aren't leaving until there's a resolution. So after staying the day we signed papers on our new camper and left there at 5 p.m. We are very satisfied with the new camper and extremely happy that our payments went down. The service we received on Saturday all day and yesterday was great and I can see that the place is turning around and I'm so glad. After reading all the Google Reviews, Camping World Reviews and BBB reviews I just wanted to give credit where credit was due. There is hope that maybe they can model these people and all the Camping World stores will turn around and be a great place to do business with. Thank you Tanner, Ryan, Gunnar, Anna, Jonathan and Anthony. We are now " Happy Campers". L. Maxwell

Camping World in Cleburne, Texas - Basic items

3.5
Details
From: Ernest Day 2420 Oak Tree Ln Midlothian Texas 76065. Just purchased a very nice 2017 Sunseeker 2390TS unit from you CW. I just can’t believe that CW would allow your dealers not to provide the basic and also needed items just to be able to use the unit. For example no dump hose, a jack to change a flat tire and on top of that the spare tire lowing rod was also missing. And when you ask about the missing items you get the following. Did we say we (CW) was going to provide those items? Now if you folks think that I will be referring CW to my friends and family I don’t think so. How about you? Any consolation would be appropriate. Not so happy. But could change my mind. So let’s see what happens for the good. Thanks for your time. Have a blessed day.

Camping World in Fayetteville, North Carolina - Horrible so far

4.1
Details
Feb.14th, 2019 Valentine's Day My husband and I purchased a used 2014 Mallard from Camping World in Hope Mills, NC and due to the rainy weather took it home and parked it til the following Monday the only day it wasn't supposed to rain so I took the afternoon off to transfer things from our old camper to the new one and opened the storage bay that was standing in water. After walking around and inspecting the rest of that area we noticed that behind the wallpaper the wall was rotted. So Tuesday morning we took the camper back to Camping World (at their request) Leslie the service person walked thru the camper and said there's lots of leaking and the wall at the head of the bed was rotted out. Checking a few other areas later asked could we leave it with them and let them do a pressure test and continue to check it out. We did that and a day and a half later she called to say the pressure test showed 7 leaks and the front of the camper needed to be torn down and all the wet rotted/molded wood needed to be replaced. She even went as far and said the factory uses 2x2's and their guys would be using 2x3's so it'll be better than from the factory. The following Monday my husband went by there and they said they had replaced the wall panel and were only waiting on the table that had been leaked on so long that it had swollen up. I promise you the table was the very least of my worries! I've called to speak with the service manager Jeff but to no avail and conveniently Leslie has been out this week. I remember a time that Camping World was the most prestigious company to buy from. You were really doing good if you bought from Camping World. That is so not the case now. Since purchasing my camper two weeks ago I've been hearing some horror stories from lots of people. All I want is my camper back with no leaks! I'm not expecting a brand new camper as mine is a 2014 but it wasn't supposed to be a money pit and leaking all the time. I hope there is some good news soon.

I purchased a 100 lb propane tank and was having problems finding the correct hookup for my RV. Camping World is pretty far from where I live, so it was a last resort. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and taken directly to the propane accessories. However, the young man admitted he didn't know much about the products so he then directed me to a manager, who was busy with another customer. I waited patiently. I told him what I needed, he turned me over to a young man named Aaron. Aaron was knowledgeable, polite, and patient. I was so comfortable with him that I proceeded to ask some other questions about my RV (I'm a newbie) and he didn't make me feel silly for asking. I got what I needed and then some. I will not hesitate to make the long trip in the future and I will definitely ask for Aaron.

We had a special request which wasn’t available but Ken Simmons kept us in his file until the the unit that fit our needs was found. Ken was very matter of fact without any pressure, hype or b.s. I particularly appreciate that as I used to be in vehicle sales. Everything was as promised and on time. I will be back. Bill DeSilva

Camping World in New York, New York - RV Cover

Camping World - RV Cover
Would like to show that my top of the line RV cover didn't last a month and a half. You would think 350.00 would last longer. That was the est. Sale price. They cost more than that reg. At the top of my RV is a part of the gutter system that protrudes about an 2 inches out the backside. The cover which is supposed to be strong and durable, didn't hold up at all.

We bought our 2016 Bullet from the Caldwell location a few months ago. I have been in to ask questions more than a few times. I have had nothing but good service from everyone i have talked to there. Very helpful. Now, I took it in too get it winterized. Trevor Fike was the person I had help me. He was extremely helpful and more than willing to answer any questions i had. The trailer was in and out very timely. I will continue to use this location and would highly recommend it to other RV owners. Once again Trevor Fikes was excellent to deal with. Thank you.
