We have been RVing for over 40 years and have owned 8 motor homes during this time period. 18 months ago we purchased our last coach and had to take it to CW for service. It took 7 weeks for "minor" repairs under warranty. If you want calls and progress reports this is not the company to deal with.
Month 11 we took in in for very minor warranty work and 4 months later it was done. Again, if you want call back or progress reports, you are dealing with the wrong company. You will rarely ever get a call back and if you do it will be several weeks later. Calling a supervisor, forget it. You will never ever get a call back even if you call CW corporate! Ask for the GM of the facility, no way will you get a call back or any response.
Sales: We will never again deal with CW. They used to be a good store for parts and service many years ago. We will now only deal with a MFG direct. In our opinion it is worth it to drive, or have you rig towed a few hundred miles to a facility other than CW. It is a shame that this company has deterioted to the bottom level of service. Example, just try and get propane. You are treated lower than a rat that is bothering their dogs food bowl. Customer service in their parts department has been horrible for the past few years too. A shame.
We finally sold our rig and will now look at going factory direct. A true shame.
Just look at Better Business Bureau reports and complaints listed on any blogs before ever dealing with CW. This company just does not deserve the good RV family community that we have all built.
