i was at the 2016 RV show in Tampa Fl..Looked over a 2016 Thor 40 ft.unit..Sales people kept trying to sell me that unit by asking all kinds of questions.double and triple teaming me about my credit ..I made the mistake of giving my info to one of the salesman .I looked over the unit once more and decided I really wasn't interested any more and told them so. That was on the Thursday of the show, late in the afternoon.About 2 weeks later I started getting mail from banks about Camping World Of Tampa applying for credit for me.That was after I told them I wasn't interested. They ran my credit the following
day which was Friday. They submitted for credit to not 1 but 4 different banks. I talked to someone in the Tampa Office who introduced himself as the finance manager. He checked his computer and confirmed that the time line was correct and he apologized and said they should not have done that.In the mean time my credit score went down due to too many inquiries.T
here was nothing he could do for me.BEWARE of the sales tactics of this company.
