Bought a new toyhauler from Camping world Hamburg ny for $19000 plus tax. When we finally took a close look at the paper work a month later (went on a cross country trip ),they added in $7000 that we never agreed to. The trailer ended up costing us over $30,000 ,we verbally turned down all the extras, but they put them in anyways. They screwed us good. All buyers beware (READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING )!!!

I had to go into Camping World and talk with a manager but finally able to cancel and received refund.

I’ve called multiple times and gave my information and email. I have yet to receive and email with what is needed to cancel the warranty since I’ve traded in the camper I’ve purchased.

My Family decided to purchase a new Travel Trailer and it was a big decision for us. We did some research and initially weren't scared off by the bad reviews of Camping World. We decided to purchase a Coleman 3015bh and all the warranties that came with it. We used it for one season and traveled. The unit had issues. I brought it in for service and scheduled well ahead of time. Of all the issues none were really addressed the others I was told weren't covered under warranty. I complained... So they said leave it here until the Manufacturers Warranty Expires and We will "Try and Get it Covered under Good Sam Insurance." SCAM. Asked for refund of warranty. Waited 2+ months. Filed Complaint with BBB and still unresolved. Unit is 2 years old. We don't beat it up. Poor Quality. Poor Service. We were lied to. I asked them to back up their product and fix the issues. If someone pays 30k+ for something it shouldn't start falling apart within the first year? Awning,Doors falling out of ceiling, electrical problems, jacks, roof leaks, exterior fenders blowing apart on thruway, tires don't last 5k, glue joints leaking on tank valves, microwave falling out, slides jump all over, outdoor kitchen slide screws just falling out everywhere. Ran into the Sales Woman who is no longer an employee and she stated. "I clubbed you on that deal" Lol. Those things are junk and they are made by a bunch of *** Heads in Mexico." Really unhappy with my purchase and still owe 27k. Might last another season not sure?

Camping World in Hamburg, New York - Can an RV be sold to 2 customers

My wife and I are first time RV buyers from San Diego. We found an RV sold by Buffalo Camping World and dealt with a salesman that was so slow to respond to us that the RV was sold. My wife gave the salesman our information to intact us if the deal did not go through. 2 weeks later, my wife got an email from the salesman that the buyers chose another model so the model we wanted was for sale. We looked it up on their website and sure enough the unit was back on their site. Within an hour of the salesman"s first contact that the RV was back on the market, my wife and the salesman came to a price. They wanted a down payment and credit report which my wife provided immediately. My wife was so happy she spent hours looking for flights to Buffalo and the route back to San Diego via Niagra Falls, Sedona, and all siteseeing places. We did not hear from the salesman for 2 days although we called and emailed him several times each day. I told my wife that this doesn't sound good and sure enough when I got hold of the salesman said they had sold it to the original buyers because they changed their minds and wanted the RV that we wanted. Is that ethical or the word ethics not exist with these guys. My wife and the salesman made a verbal agreement to buy the RV. Someone tell me, is this normal. Even if we put a deposit on an RV does that mean we did not actually purchase it. Can they do this and turn around and sell it to someone else.

Camping World is all about the profits. At any expense. I would stay away from them as far as possible. As another reader had posted. They sell you a trailer at one price, tell you that they have program incentives to help with the deal, and all they do is add it to the cost of the trailer. How is the SAG not involved yet. I still have the voice mail from the general manager of sales that states they found incentives and program dollars to close the deal. When all they did in the long run was add it to the sale price of the trailer. And post sales customer service is terrible. Had an issue on a recent trip, called them, told me to call Good Sam. Good Sam said that CW of Hamburg always does that. Stay away!!!

On February 27th, we purchased a new 2017 Thor motor home, which had a few cosmetic /and minor repairs. Assured by Camping World that these would be taken care of requiring a few days in their shop. On 3/22/2018 the unit was returned to CW for the necessary repairs and additional claims . Questioning CW as to the repair time was subsequently advised they found additional problems caused by water infiltration they believed was coming from the roof. A call to Thor motors on 4/02/18 and 4/03/18 was advised by Thor they received claims on 3/13/18 and on 4/03/18 A 2nd claim was received with additional request for water infiltration. They assured me that both claims were approved. Because of our complaint to Thor, they said they were going to send a factory rep to CW. Thus we are going to have to wait another 2 weeks before we hear from them. As to date CW has not done any repairs,and will not start any repairs until they hear from the rep. It appears I am caught between Thor and CW ,about who will be responsible for the repairs. The consumer should not be caught up in this dispute. I believe CW should do everything to expedite this problem. With weather improving and plans to use our motor home are pushed back to a further unknown date.

Same thing with me.. they get your money and try getting a return call when you need answers ..

never would I recommend this place ever again.

Trying to figure what a switch goes to hmmm 2 years later and still no clue. Not a happy camper but I guarantee my second time will be from another dealer!!

Your 100% correct and they continue to get away with it everyday! Lie, steal and cheat anyone who is dumb enough to speak with them.

Can't find any happy customers in their shop.

Every time your in the service department someone else is notching at them. The law protects them not you.

They lie to your face, are deceptful, dishonest and simple a l *** poor company to deal with. Don't return calls, emails or text. Don't honor contracts. Replace parts only on paper. Parts never actually replaced. Keep your unit for weeks on end waiting for parts they never actually replace or intend to replace. Damage your unit while on their property and make you responsible to file an insurance claim for repairs. Never have i ever had to deal with such deceptful people in business. Good Sam ESP plan only good to wipe you *** with. Be warned. Stay clear.
