Watson Jones bought a camper from the Byron Georgia location. He is what has taken place so far.
What can we do! September 3rd, 2017 we took our 2016 Jayco Pinnacle to our dealer. We had already replaced the rotors, brakes and drums after only a few miles. They weren't even hooked up properly.
We could've been killed. We had a trip planned with family for over a year so my husband made the repairs himself, that was in June. We headed out on our trip in July. At our first site to camp one of the awnings got stuck and broke the end cap and when we let out the large awning it was coming apart at the seam in several places.
Almost as soon as we bought our camper the table top veneer starting peeling off, the top has been replaced, Then you could shut the 1/2 bath fan and when you stopped it would be open. This went for the 2 1/2 weeks on our trip. The basement door rubber was coming off at month 2 of our ownership. Then the leveling system on one leg wouldn't work.
The closet door mirrors weren't attached properly. The gas heat would not work, the front door when cold would lock and you couldn't get out . One slide would stop and not work properly. My husband received a call, your camper is fixed.
Today is January 11th 2018. He drives an hour to pick it up. Batteries dead. He boosted it and turned the generator on.
None of the leveling system works now and he couldn't even jack it up. Don't know if the fan was repaired or not can't even drive it down the road to see if it stays closed. Opened the awnings and the large one came out crooked! The small one came out and dropped down.
None of the major repairs have been done properly and actually in a worst mess! We are making payments on this junk for the next few years! We are mad and very upset at all the lies and a big mess. We have called Jayco and actually been fairly nice with the people at Camping World Byron, Ga.
The service repairs are a joke. My young grandsons could do a better job. Jayco and Camping World need to get their act together. We had a new 2007 Jayco Designer for 8 years and NEVER had to take it back for repairs.
We always took very good care of our camper! All of this stress dealing with this is affecting our health. I don't want this camper anymore. This is so frustrating and aggravating!
Jayco doesn't have the quality they once did!!!
Don't buy from Camping World!!! They do not care about their customers!!!!!
