We have been loyal Camping World Shoppers and Good Sam Life Members for years but dealing with this company recently has become almost impossible.Cannot get anyone to answer a parts line when calling at the Katy Texas location, when questioning the operator was advised that due to high volume of RV sales they are busy with readying RV's and that new RV's have priority and will have to call me back.
Really? Long time RV owners are second rated??? Called for two days several times, never got a call back. Advised operator I was just needing to know if part in stock or online only, could not assist.
Had to go to website to order, called first to verify if part in stock, who shipped, shipped from and time frame as part needed within 2 weeks. Was advised no problem, placed order (almost 500.00), then waited for confirmation as was advised should be within 24 hrs. Called back (48 hrs) later and advised that request sent to the warehouse, not shipped yet, they do not ship on Saturdays and that maybe by Monday would get an email with a confirmation/tracking number and that another 5-7 business days for receipt. This was the third call just to get that information.
The other service reps. would not give me these details all they keep repeating was orders could take 14 days, then 21 days, etc. It was like they were reading from a script. This last time I advised of the time frame issue, girl advised request is to warehouse now can't even cancel the order at this point and that "sorry but company policy" whatever that is suppose to mean.
Goodness is this the wave of the future?If so then Good Sam needs to reevaluate their relationship.
