New ReviewerMs. Bartlett,

February 2025 service technician called stating they were closing the Mesquite TX location.
We were being transferred to the Sherman TX location where the parts would be delivered.
June 2025 we contacted the Sherman TX location to get status on the parts and timeline of repair. They responded with that they were still waiting on the parts.
July 14, 2025 we contacted the Sherman TX location. They informed us that we would need to take it to the Denton TX location because they didnt have room.
July 14, 2025 - RV was taken to Camping World, Denton TX, for the above warranty repairs and in addition the below warranty repairs.
Window Blinds detached from the wall

Washer & Dryer water connection leaks
Closet ceiling panel fell in
Vent in the kitchen was broken
July 14, 2025 at 4:18pm, I spoke with Deena Carrier, she offered a buyout of $59K. As you are aware, we purchased this RV brand new on February 24, 2024.
The current blue book average retail is $73K.
September 30, 2025 at 11:58am, I spoke with Ms. Carrier, she offered $44k.
NOTE: She is stating that the RV has depreciated by 15K while waiting on Camping World to do warranty repairs.
September 30, 2025 to October 14, 2025 several emails and calls were made between you, Terri Bartlett, and us to discuss concerns and options.
October 14, 2025 - there was no resolution. I drove 2.5hrs from Greenville TX to Denton TX after being informed by Emily Ensor that the repairs were completed and the RV was ready to be picked up. Upon my arrival, I met with Ms.
Ensor, she charged me $128.38 to replace a broken microwave plate on invoice #16514. After payment, I walked outside to view the RV. At this time, I discovered that the RV had been severely damaged by Camping World while in their possession. Pictures and a video were provided to you in an email dated October 14, 2025, at 2:18pm.
In addition, I discovered that the control panel was faulty preventing the slides from opening.
October 15, 2025 You contacted us and we discussed the damages and the incomplete warranty items. You asked me if we wanted a full buyout, our response was yes. You stated that you would reach out to the national team and for me to allow you two business days to get back to me.
October 27, 2025 I sent an email to you emphasizing that we still had not heard anything. Meanwhile, still not able to use our RV and the warranty timeline keeps on ticking.
October 27, 2025 10 minutes after I sent the above email, I received a phone call from Trevor Shackelford.
He stated that he would like the opportunity to fix things at his level. We told him that we expected a full buyback due to the warranty issues, damages to the RV and the timeline of events preventing us from using the RV. He stated that he would contact you and return our phone call.
October 28, 2025 I left you a voicemail.
October 28, 2025 I left a message for Trevor Shackelford to return my call.
October 29, 2025 - Trevor Shackelford, GM Camping World located in Denton, TX called timestamp beginning 11:56am to 12:03pm. During this call, Mr.
Shackelford offered a buyout of $42k or to put it on consignment for $65K.
NOTE: NOW the RV has depreciated an additional 2k while waiting on Camping World to do warranty repairs AND repair the damages to the RV while in their possession.
For us to decide on the ONLY two options that Trevor Shackelford provided, I asked the below questions.
When will the RV be repaired after them damaging it while in their possession. Trevor could not provide a timeline, even though the damage was discovered and reported to him in person on October 14, 2025.
When would the warranty repairs be completed that started in December 2024. Trevors response was that he was unaware that the warranty repairs were not completed. I find this even more disturbing as you can imagine.
You were even aware that the warranty repairs were not completed, but the General Manager is not .The service manager even stated that the control panel they installed is faulty. Again, Trevor could not provide a timeline. He asked for a list of the warranty repairs, which again, is disturbing that he hasnt even investigated this issue before contacting me.
The following was provided to Trevor on the warranty repairs that is listed under work order #16514A.
Recliner
Control Box
BMP Control Computer
Window Blinds
Cabinet above the TV
Washer & Dryer water connections leaks
Closet ceiling panel
Clock
Vent in the kitchen
Hydraulic Leveling System
None of the above, other than the hydraulic leveling system, could be verified due to the control box was not repaired. This prevents from the slides to open on the RV.
The service advisor, Emily Ensor, was present at this time along with the service manager AND Trevor.
Trevor also stated the following during this conversation:
I was being rude by asking these questions and quoted to me have you ever heard the term of bees and honey. I find this as a threating statement because I was not agreeing with his offer and questioning why he doesnt know timelines in order to allow me to make a logical decision after all of this.
He stated that he will no longer repair the warranty items.
He stated he was no longer going to do business with me, that if I dont come pick the trailer up today, he was going to call the police and file it as abandoned while he charges me daily lot fees.
He threatened to take the RV out to the fire lane.
As you can imagine, after reviewing the timeline of events above, and the final conversation with Trevor that has treated and spoken to us with such unprofessionalism, threating to do more damage to the RV while costing us more money, we are looking forward to resolving this matter ASAP before having to take further action. This has now caused health issues of increased blood pressure and unnecessary loss in time and money
User's recommendation: Honor the warranty and fix the problem.
Monetary Loss: $82000.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Location: Lone Oak, Texas
