Completely void of any technical knowledge, lairs, and could get you killed with incompetence brake control installation.
Brake control was stuffed under dash. Fell out on my first trip.
Was not secured and installed correctly. They are not able to read or use the OEMs instructions.
They will kill someone if have not already. Beware this is as bad as it can get.
User's recommendation: Have really good paid up life insurance before going to CW.
Hidden fees
Our interest is higher than what we were told it would be. Problem after problem with a 2 year old camper.
Please dont shop CW. They dont care about you. They lied to us to make a sell. We will be spending the next 15 years paying on it.
Camper world is dishonest.
They prey on people who dont know any better. Learn from our lesson

BUYERS BEWARE
Buyers Beware. I purchased a Volante 25 RL July 2023 brand new from Camping World in Huber Heights, Ohio.
One year later, taking over a $9,000 loss, I wholesaled the trailer back to Camping World since I refused to sell this travel trailer to another individual or family. I see that Camping World simply placed the trailer back on the site the same day for $40,999 to the general public which is more money than I paid for it brand new last year ...This is also sixteen thousand dollars more than what they paid to buy it back from me. Such a despicable company. Unfortunately this trailer was in the repair shop for more time than I ever was able to use it in the one year that I owned it.
It has had the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink, theatre seating pull cables, awning, the slide cable, slide seals falling off, the slide carpet, the shower fan, crooked breakers, mislabeled fuse box, the stove, window blind pulls, etc...repair issues ... But the most concerning was a wobbly toilet. It was discovered that Keystone had cut too wide *** in the floor under the toilet and therefore the toilet flange bolts had nothing to bite into. Keystone and Camping World played me as the monkey in the middle and refused to adequately repair.
When I brought my travel trailer in for repair work July 2024, I was told by a service technician at Huber Heights Camping World that my roof had *** and needed to be replaced for $8,000. Once Camping World figured out that a Camping World technician at a different location had dropped a tool while replacing the shower fan creating the hole in the roof membrane... Then I was told that the roof hole could just be patched. I've been directly lied to in my face by several service technicians.
The GM offered to sell me a new camper at cost and I drove for 2 and 1/2 hours only to discover that was a lie too. I will never give Camping World another penny of my hard-earned money EVER! When I bought my travel trailer from Camping World I was told I had to pay $1,695 for a PDI (pre delivery inspection) walkthrough which obviously wasn't done with as many issues that the trailer has ... I was also charged $325 for a single battery and $899 extra for a hitch.
So when I say buyers beware... take heed. Do not waste your hard-earned money or be deceived by this unscrupulous company. I am a older person and this was my teacher retirement savings that I spent in order to enjoy the latter years of my life and instead it has been one of the worst experiences I have encountered.
Trust no one at Camping World...And whatever you do...DO NOT buy stock number 244****P...
It has *** in the roof membrane and too wide of *** cut in the floor under the toilet. My pictures below are of the Camping World ad and my own picture of the trailer so you can see it is the same unit...BUYERS BEWARE

After talking to the camping world representative he told me too bad you signed the contract and took delivery of the RV even though we knew your finance charge was 113%. He said the finance rates today are that much today.
I told him that's not true and that's insane and is probably illegal or should be illegal, I'm getting a lawyer.
I was tricked into signing after they told me $58,000 at 13%. I am having to get a lawyer involved now!
I purchased an RV from here, and after I signed the papers, they would not return my phone calls. I then realized, after returning home and calling the finance company, that they had charged me more in interest than the RV's selling price. Who does business like this? I was told the finance rate would be 13%, but it turned out to be 113%.
I was also told that the monitor/NVR for the camera system would be under the bed. The box was empty.
I tried calling them and leaving messages, but they would not return my call. I went to the store to ask the salesman why the monitor was not in the box, and his response was, 'What am I supposed to do about it?'!
- Pros they have parts
- Are dishonest and will not communicate after the sale

Verified Reviewer |Deceptive practices
Deceptive practices! Be very careful of these guys.
We came in to look at a trailer and trade our current one. We found one we liked and let the salesman know we are not purchasing today. We negotiated a better price for our trade as the first one was an insult knowing they would make a HUGE profit on us. They kept wanting us to agree to a payment "if we get you to this payment, do we have a deal?" Terms we talked about was $2,500 down and $10,000 for trade.
No paperwork signed, no amortization schedule was provided and have not even applied for financing at this point. Gave them down payment in good faith and made agreements to sign the next week. Went home and did our own math (we are both in finance). Amortization showed us paying $50,000 for a $22,000 trailer.
(This is why the push the payment part so hard, they can get the payment you want but if you don't know how loans work, you are looking at 15-20 years of payments to get that monthly payment point) After looking around we found the same model for much less at several different lots. Hubby popped back in to ask if we could negotiate more, showed them our "homework." Finance guy said we are only 2nd people to ever do the math own our own. They would not even consider negotiating at all and was told that all of those others are junk and not worth it. Hubby said then we don't have a deal.
The finance guy then said, "thanks for the tip, normally we don't get tipped until after the fact. Meaning that they are keeping the $2,500 down payment. Remember, we signed no contract and said so. They produced a form that was used to negotiate the trade and payment and tried passing it off as our contract.
We can not enter into a legally binding contract if we do not know the terms. You can not agree to terms that are unknown. This is basic contract law. Further, in the state of Utah, you must indicate in writing if a "Deposit" is refundable or not.
These guys seem to operate as predators, hoping they can fool uneducated folks into getting "tipped" without doing any work. Why would we give $2,500 that is non refundable before we even knew if we were approved for financing?

Verified ReviewerI feel as if I was scamed and lied to in a camper I got.
The price ended up 3 times higher than I agreed on and I've had multiple issues with leaks, a bad battery, leaks on top, and slide-out issues. They didn't offer any help with anything.
The salesman used my phone to give himself a good review, stating he was putting his number in my phone if something wasn't right. No phone number was put in my phone!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Camping world has agreed to work with me on a resolution and doing such has definitely improve my over all satisfaction with camping world
I really suggest you all don't buy from #CampingWorld. Their many reviews are just over 3 stars and I am proof that they take advantage of you after the sale.
An example is when I complained about the unit they sold me, they offered $1000 toward a $10000 roof that it needed.
After they wouldn't take it back, they only offered me a $12k trade-in for a $30k sale they stole from me. This proves that #CampingWorld agrees that they sold me a piece of crap.

Verified Reviewer |I was mislead and taken advantage of!!
This is a reminder for future customers! I was a desperate customer and they knew it and they took advantage.
I put my class C into their consignment program. Now, the camper only has 1750 miles. You read that right, 1750, not 17,050. They told me I needed a new roof, which I, and all my camping friends, couldn't believe.
They told me I'd have to replace it to be able to sell it! The consignment manager told me he wouldn't have any problem selling it. He even guaranteed he'd sell it more than I needed. So, I paid the $12,000 for the roof.
This was in the spring. They called me in September to come pick it up. I was livid. When I went in to pick it up, that manager, Ron, wouldn't even look at me!
The sales manager had to give me the keys. There's no doubt in my mind that he took advantage of me, since I was a desperate senior citizen! He had no intention of selling it. He suckered me into paying for the new roof!
I'm writing this review to hopefully prevent another senior citizen or desperate person from getting screwed!
Be careful with whatever the consignment manager named Ron says! BEWARE!!!

This is probably the most unprofessional business I've ever dealt with, from the miscommunication to not being communicated with at all, to having to hunt for four or five days to talk to a person just to get an answer. Then, the multitude of phone calls that weren't even regarding our trailer.
They tried to deliver a trailer to our house that we weren't buying. They tried to fix a trailer that we weren't having fixed.
Nobody knows what's going on, and they give time frames that they can't keep, including a check that they said they mailed out two days ago and it's been almost 2 weeks. I would not recommend Camping World in any way to buy from or to sell to.
- Unreliability
- Unprofessionalism
Preferred solution: An answer on why there is no truth to what they say, and why there is no Professionalism. Especially in a company as big as camping world two different locations in Arizona and both have zero professionalism.

Purchased a Thor ACE 3.30 on Father's Day 2023... You cannot drive off the lot until CW Greenville NC does dealer prep and safety inspection $1400..
so they had 4 days to prep.. they did almost nothing in 4 days.. rig was filthy inside and out, they removed slide awnings and other parts.. had not serviced batteries and had not done a function check on systems...
Sent me on the road after 4hours of fighting with them to simply do their job ... Even the step would not retract fully... Had many issues on first campout... Took it back to Greenville from Jacksonville NC 2 more times and had their mobile service come to my house twice to fix many issues ...
Even now a year later still have issues they should have fixed ... The things they did fix had very poor workmanship, stripped out screws broken screws missing parts wiring incorrectly or simply failed to fix the issue
..
seems like they are not trained or certified RV technician but instead just handymen hired off the street... Stay away from CW...

Verified Reviewer |Camping World Corporate Resolved Issue
UPDATE AFTER INITIAL REVIEW --The day after posting the negative review of my experience, I received a response from Camping World Corporate asking for my contact information, so they could look into it. I responded with copies of all previous correspondence and the following morning I received a call from the local service manager informing me that they were refunding the amount overcharged. I want to acknowledge that Camping World finally did the right thing and Im changing my review to 3 stars based on the action taken.

So, I bought a camper when CW was price gouging in 2022. Now, I want to trade but I'm so upside down that I can't trade and get a decent price.
I went to the Hanover store and was told they could get me out of my camper and into a new one. I got my credit checked, which was over 800, got approved, and signed and initialed the agreed payment. This all happened on a Saturday. They told me to bring in my camper.
I emptied my camper, washed it from top to bottom, removed the plate and sway kit, and uninsured it. After all these, I found out that the deal was never set in stone. The payment was much higher than agreed upon. They ran my credit 6 more times to get this deal, something I didn't agree to, which has now negatively affected my credit.
I received a call from a sales rep who said there is nothing they can do; the payment was 100 dollars more than agreed upon. I was then told to come to get my camper. I feel like I was seriously misled and taken advantage of. Now, due to the prices charged during Covid, I am stuck with a camper.
Campers are so cheap now that I can never trade up.
My family was very upset to hear that CW took advantage of us. I wish CW could rectify this situation and give us what we were promised.

Drove my brand new camper off the lot only to find that the battery was wired backwards, and now I have electrical problems that they refuse to fix without me paying a hefty price.
- Refuse to back their products with a viable warranty
Preferred solution: I want the electrical issues fixed and paid for by a dealership close to home.

They had my brand new rv for a total of over 3 months and didn't fix it. It is under warranty they should have fixed it.
Don't go there. Bad service, they don't call you to let you know what is going on unless you call them.
