Cannot believe someone else actually has/had the same issue! Mine was issued and sent to the salesmans' P.O. Box which I only found out from the State DMV and Postal Inspector!

Camping World in Northeast Jefferson, Colorado - Worst experience ever!

1.0
Details
You would think that after spending the kind of money it takes to buy an RV that you would be happy with your purchase. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! The sales guy was great but they usually are, the rest of the 3 month experience to get what I paid for was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! There is too much to cover in a review, so I'm gonna save you the replay. Its simple... if you value your money, your time and your sanity NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant speak for all of them but this one gets your money and then doesnt give a *** what happens next. Not only did I not get what I wanted but I have spent thousands to fix what they messed up. Dont say I didnt warn you.

I went in to the Golden, CO Campingworld and asked if the did warranty work on Winnebago Fifth wheels. The Campingworld employee asked me if I bought the camper at their Camping world. When I said no, they said, "Oh.... well our schedule is months out. I found this very disheartening. And I will not do business with them.

Camping World in Mancos, Colorado - *** customer service

Spoke with KC from Albuquerque after I checked the trade in value of my travel trailer and also checked the value of the trade-in price. These guys tried to rip me off at camping world by at least $3000 dollars. Also wanted to charge higher than the prices then what the online prices said, one said 19900 then when asked they told me 29900. I would say that it is false advertising. If any veterans want to buy a travel trailer dont go to camping world, espcially in Albuquerque.

Worst experience ever, we had camping world do work on our 2008 cedar creek fifth wheel we took,it to camping world in oct 2018 did not get it back until April .

They were supposed to do a 45 check point on it and work on tip outs. They did nothing to it ,the slide was out of adjustment and you could see outside by the edge of tip out. We were told to just go to Walmart and bye some foam and put it in there. We went ahead and took it home to find out they had done very minimal work if any on it, in fact we didn’t get 5 miles down the road and the tip outs were coming out going down the road. We got home to find they had track grease or something all over the carpet. We contacted them on it took it back and they had it another month, my husband has cancer and he doctors in Rochester mn. We told them we had to have it back by last week in April, they had not even started on it until the day we came to pick it up so we waited all day to get it. We were going down the road and the underbelly and insulation was coming out they had not secured it when they put it back. Please respond there is so much we are unhappy about and need help to get this resolved this was the camping world in fountain Colorado. Sincerely Barb Beek Phone 7193400636 waiting to hear from you

Camping World of Colorado Springs - poor customer service

1.9
Details
I am a repeat customer for RV purchases at the Camping World (CW) of Colorado Springs store. I most recently purchased a Genesis toy hauler from CW in Jan 2019 and took delivery on Feb 8th. There were several defects that were identified upon delivery, which the customer service team addressed as "We Owe" items, to be fixed at a later date. Tick-Toc the clock is ticking, no sense of urgency in getting the manufacturer to close on these defects. In April, I had heard nothing back from the CW team. I finally got a response stating that we should be hearing from the manufacturer shortly and have the remaining work done at the beginning of May. Friday, May 3, the assigned representative from CW emails me first thing in the morning to say parts are in and we need to get scheduled to have them installed. I followed up with an email within the hour to acknowledge I am ready to get the RV into them, and followed that email with a phone call, which went straight to voicemail, for which I left a message for the representative to contact me immediately. Tick-Toc, no response. Finally, five days later I contacted the General Manager of the store to let him know that there is a response problem in his store. He then scheduled a service department drop-off for May 10th. At this time, I let the same service representative that has been non-responsive know that I need to pickup the trailer on the evening of May 22nd, as I have plans to leave town the evening of 23 May for an extended Memorial Day weekend. I called CW the afternoon of May 22 to see if my trailer was ready, tick-toc, their response was that they are pulling it into service today, and it is not going to be finished. My question to this incompetent service staff, "Where is your workflow process, and why has this been such an epic failure on your part?" First, your quality control process at receipt of the product should include a detailed inspection so that the purchasing customer does not have to wait so long to have manufacturing defects addressed. A business cannot measure for improvement what they do not assess. Next, on Feb 8th, this work should have been placed in your Kanban work queue, awaiting parts, so that as soon as parts arrive, the team is ready to install them, not wait for every job that has piled up in the 3+ months we have spent waiting because the CW dealership does not apply pressure on the manufacturer to address defects.

Camping World in Johnstown-Milliken, Colorado - Customer service

We just wanted to buy a awning replacement fabric and installation. Got back with our guy with all the details and numerous phone calls and you never called us back. While we were in there we were looking for somebody that knew what they were doing. Couldn't find anybody. Told that they were training. I could have walked in there blind and helped people more than they did. Very stressful and very poor customer service.

Camping World in Northeast Jefferson, Colorado - Terrible customer service and poor quality workmanship

1.0
Details
Camping World in Golden had my Rv since Feb 14th 2019 to repair a the hydraulic leveling system hose, replace a fuse to get the mirrors to adjust, fix the water pressure in the shower and to fix the shower door. My son and I finally got to pickup the rv on April 27. As I read the “estimated” amount due, I noticed that they replaced 2 jacks... unauthorized!! By the time we got the rv home (some 15 miles), I noticed the hydraulic hose they replaced was dragging ion the ground. I probably will miss my first Good Sam camping trip in May. If we try to mess with it, we will cancel out any warranty Camping World has. During this time, I would send emails and place phone calls to the service tech, which most of the time he would not return or contact me back. We finally were able to speak with the service manager, who also promised to call me back and has not. Of course, when we picked up the RV this past Saturday, the service tech wasn’t working. The on duty service tech wanted a copy of my credit card. Can you imagine what could happen if I had allowed that? BTW, I’m not paying their bill until these yo-yo’s get their act together
