This has been going on over a month. MICHAEL WHITEHEAD will not return our calls. Told us not to worry because he spends so much money with Rockwood. Finally called Rockwood and they are sending new shower free. We call Michael almost daily with no return call back. This is our 2nd camper from Camping World. First had water damage. This camper was our last. I tell everyone I know, when you sign that dotted line, they act like they don't know you. I guess I will see if BBB can help. Mark and Janie Anderson

GM of Camping world in Swedesboro NJ needs to take a class on people skills. Horrible person! Sale of the camper was saved by the amazing sales associate Justin. Also brought a certified check as requested for the price of the camper, the price changed to a lower number (because the didn't want to do the titling or sales tax), was told i would get the difference back in a check within 2 weeks and am still waiting a month later. I've called and been told repeatedly that the would look into it and callback. NOBODY has EVER called back! I call everyday at this point! horrible horrible experience buying a camper for the first time!

Camping World - Sales Manager hasnt' refunded deposit

Details
Scott Wilson stated it was company policy to keep $200. Still waiting for $300 to be refunded. The entire process is a scam. I saved over 10% going elsewhere. I didnt' pay $500 for documentation and $600 for a mysterious undisclosed vacation package. Time to call the credit card company to see what they can do about this fraud.

Worst experience EVER!!!! Asked about a camper, told I’m service, you need to check with sales. Stopped at the front desk to check information on our Sam’s club membership. Cashier kept apologizing she is busy helping a new cashier. She would help us when she could. Went on through out the store and stopped another employee for assistance about sway bars, and told again sorry I’m sales, you need to check with service. Spoke with GM, Thomas Robson, who initially apologized and set us up with someone in service. She was helpful then tried to print the quote and there was something wrong with the printer. She gets help and printed the quote. Then she starts looking for one of the two people who can schedule the appointment. 10 minutes later, she still cannot find anyone. Frustrated, we return to Thomas who was the most unprofessional manager I have ever met. Instead of him trying to do some type of service recovery, his solution was “you seem unhappy with our services, so I think it’s best we just part ways”. I would strongly discourage anyone to ever support a business that is so rude and disrespectful to its customers. Good luck getting service and use caution if you enter that establishment!!! I have contacted camping world corporate. They said someone would get back with me, but that still hasn’t happened.

Camping World in District 5, Mississippi - DISAPOINTED WITH SERVICE

We live in MS and drove 4 hours to look at one camper that I saw online and this was the closest place it was available. Camping World of Biloxi, MS. We made an appointment by clicking on the best available price online, which then took us to a page to request an appointment. It also listed the price of the RV as 19,000.00. This is 2020 Rockwood Geo Pro off road edition. Grant is who called and set up our appointment. We were also told that we did not need to bring our camper in with us (that we would be trading) because they have a system that could pin point the value. We showed up an hour early and our salesman that we were assigned to was Crouse. He was super nice. He tried to help us in every way and even recommended an awesome restaurant that we had lunch at. Now the problems: When we agreed to purchase they tried to charge the amount that is online. They said they corrected that, but I'm not sure if they did or not. I believe it was still showing over 20,000 for the sale price. They ended up dropping the extra services like adding the tow package because my husband can do that. Also not adding all of the things like sewer hose, etc.. because we already have all of that. They agreed to give us 10,500 for our 2017 Keystone Hideout that is 3 feet longer and way nicer, but we agreed to this price. We wanted to downsize and thought this Geo Pro would be better for boondocking than what we have. So we all decided on a price and I asked the sales manager (can't remember his name) if they would deliver. He said "if that is what it takes to get it done, then yes." We decided they would bring the new one up to us the next day and pick up the trade. My husbands credit was ran (and dropped 4 points due to this) and all papers gone over with the finance manager and everything signed. Then... the general manager told one of them that no, they were not delivering it until they had the trade. I had brought pictures and they had agreed on the price of the trade. All papers signed. I understand that they needed to see it, but they said not to bring it (which later he said he did not say that... but we would have if we were told to) so why not SEE it when you deliver mine. You were having to do that anyway. So... we will take it all the way down there (after driving 4 hours already) and are they going to give me what they said... give me more??? Ha. I doubt that. Mine has been camped in 8 times. It is in perfect condition. It is actually better than when we bought it. Upgraded the bed, shower head, backsplash. It has an outdoor kitchen and tons of storage. So I was going to one with a tiny bath and no storage. But it is what we wanted and were willing to do. We just wanted to downsize, not because there was a problem with ours. We also wanted one with a couch because ours just has the large dinette. The salesman text us on the way home asked if he could get it delivered did we still want it and we said yes. Next day.. back and forth and the general manager still was saying no... they had to see ours first. So deal canceled. It's too bad that that place was/is the closest that has this camper. Very bad customer service and several that lies. 1. Guy that took our appointment and told us not to bring ours and then said he didn't say that. Plus online price changed. 2. Sales manager that said he would deliver and pick ours up. 3. Sales manager said ours was the first 2020 to be sold and finance said 2nd. Not that it matters about that, but see where I'm going. Salesman didn't have a chance. He did all he could do. Oh and by the way... we came to see ONE camper. Before we were even taken to see it, the salesman said the sales manager told him to show us a used one that was similar. What? We wanted a 2020 Geo Pro and that one was a Rockwood Mini Lite (don't know the year). It was similar, but the TV and fridge was in different places. No solar. Not off road. Not same camper. That was just weird and rude. We drove 4 hours to see ONE camper. And that is the one we wanted. We received an email last night to welcome us to Good Sam. I sure hope they ripped our paperwork up because the deal was off. :-( So.. what did we do? Ordered a couch for the great camper we already have. It's perfect anyway and I can't believe we even thought about trading it. Never again will I ever buy.. or attempt to buy from Camping World. You know, I had read bad reviews about the place as a whole, but still gave it a try. You live and learn.

Camping World in Lake City, Florida - Disrespectful Salesman

The salesman showed us rv’s while having a wad of dip in his mouth. He spit going into the campers and spit coming out of the campers. He spit getting on the golf cart and spit after getting off the golf cart. It was disgusting and rude. If a salesman can’t go 30 minutes without dipping then he should change professions.
