Camping World - DONT BUY THE WARRANTY

After taking our RV out for the second time, we found all sorts of things wrong with it. The weatherstripping was blowing off onto the road as we were driving, the shower door was installed crooked and wiuld leak whenever we would shower, when we turned on the AC it would rattle because the fan was hitting a piece of foam, the toilet stopped flushing and 10 other problems. We paid almost $3000 for the warranty and we called to tell them we wanted to bring it in to have all of these things repaired and they said there wasn’t one thing on our list that was covered by the warranty. IT IS A RIP OFF. BEWARE!!!!!!

Camping World - Same as Last time, should have known better.

Took our 2016 HC 305RL in for the extended warranty we purchased from Camping World on 9/9/19, was told they would review the issues I stated in a couple of days. Was told by the service writer Tim B. he would call me by 9/13/19 with a status report, no call. Sent a email 9/15/19 to Tim B. reminding him of his promise to update me by 9/13/19. The reason: low on mechanics due to a sickness, and that he would have the update by afternoon on 9/16/19 or morning of 9/17/19. It is 1500 hrs now on the 17th, no phone call. I just called his number a few minutes ago, was told he was unavailable on present. They ask for me to leave my name and number of which I did not, told them I would call back. I am thinking about the Better Business Bureau as the next step.

Camping World in Wauconda, Illinois - Service agreement

We bought a service agreement with our 2017 Ace, and traded it in on a larger RV in April, 2019 at another RV seller. We were to get a refund for the unused portion of the agreement, and signed all paper work with Debra Shore in April, but have yet to receive it on August 20, 2019. Have made several calls to Debra Shore at Camping World, Island Lake, Il, asking where my refund is, but she doesn’t return our phone calls. Fear we have been had.

Camping World of Colorado Springs - poor customer service

I am a repeat customer for RV purchases at the Camping World (CW) of Colorado Springs store. I most recently purchased a Genesis toy hauler from CW in Jan 2019 and took delivery on Feb 8th. There were several defects that were identified upon delivery, which the customer service team addressed as "We Owe" items, to be fixed at a later date. Tick-Toc the clock is ticking, no sense of urgency in getting the manufacturer to close on these defects. In April, I had heard nothing back from the CW team. I finally got a response stating that we should be hearing from the manufacturer shortly and have the remaining work done at the beginning of May. Friday, May 3, the assigned representative from CW emails me first thing in the morning to say parts are in and we need to get scheduled to have them installed. I followed up with an email within the hour to acknowledge I am ready to get the RV into them, and followed that email with a phone call, which went straight to voicemail, for which I left a message for the representative to contact me immediately. Tick-Toc, no response. Finally, five days later I contacted the General Manager of the store to let him know that there is a response problem in his store. He then scheduled a service department drop-off for May 10th. At this time, I let the same service representative that has been non-responsive know that I need to pickup the trailer on the evening of May 22nd, as I have plans to leave town the evening of 23 May for an extended Memorial Day weekend. I called CW the afternoon of May 22 to see if my trailer was ready, tick-toc, their response was that they are pulling it into service today, and it is not going to be finished. My question to this incompetent service staff, "Where is your workflow process, and why has this been such an epic failure on your part?" First, your quality control process at receipt of the product should include a detailed inspection so that the purchasing customer does not have to wait so long to have manufacturing defects addressed. A business cannot measure for improvement what they do not assess. Next, on Feb 8th, this work should have been placed in your Kanban work queue, awaiting parts, so that as soon as parts arrive, the team is ready to install them, not wait for every job that has piled up in the 3+ months we have spent waiting because the CW dealership does not apply pressure on the manufacturer to address defects.

Good evening Erin, Well where do we begin. I've already wasted more time and effort than I ever wanted to on this giant cluster *** The only thing I think of when i see or even here of camping world is the smell of *** coming out of storage tanks on an rv that was winterized at your facility, let alone a unit I just purchased! Might want to check on all the other units to see if there still full of *** also. I may have gotten a little cranky, but honey just imagine me *** pissed. I'm over this whole thing! You guys dropped the ball and to be honest the whole store should get a complete makeover. I'll be honest you've been a bigger help than that weseal mike, but you still gave me the run around. I totally understand why. Because you are as dumbfounded as i am that this has even come to this. To be honest, Id rather take my 20k cash back, and walk away. I mean cash! Real money, money that was worked for! Im not some *** who fell into cash. I bust my *** and work for this *** up, corrupt system. Ive done my time, I've seen alot. Thats why when I get the run around, Or mike sends the service tech to ask me whats going on this morning. The guy that cleaned house, fired 35 people when was hired. HE WAS THE MAN TO TALK 2! What a *** He couldnt believe his detail team did that, said he was gunna fire people. Said I'll make them sit in there for 6 hrs and clean it for punishment, then I get there at all hours of the morning to still find it sitting there. Would you be upset yet? How about he tells me hes a big shot and to use his name anywhere in the country and he would take care of me. How about he says get it back here and we will have it done today and I end up sleeping in it that night where I left it. This *** blamed the service tech for not locking it up or getting keys. I'm postive mikey just never said anything or gave a *** The service tech and Ashlee are the only 2 that have been helpful. Luckily I have a close friend whos an Attorney, I'm contacting the proper channel's, BBB, Attorney General, etc, etc. Pretty sure im going to channel 9 news tomorrow just so we have a camera crew showing the whole world what a 2nd delivery of an rv looks like. I want copies of any and all paperwork envolved. From the title to the inspection. I want a title search done and i want to talk to the mechanic who went through this originally, just to ask how "they" (gotta b politically correct know days) lives everyday knowing he has no pride in "their" work. Otherwise keep it on the lot. Im done *** around and playing games.If it took only 2 hrs and a test drive in the morning after all this,. Why wasn't it done yesterday? ? Why is it , that almost the same exact time as yeaterday.. when i exploded , probably cause i was hangry did i drop it off and it sat all night with me sleeping in it watching, Protecting my investments, yes investments as in 2. I specifically told that *** mike to take care of that bike and there she sat . Cold and dirty. Which your going to have clean prior to delivery I AM NOT KIDDING with that special ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SYSTEM, that apparlently can be applied to bug splatter and dirt and grime and still protect the paint. I will not take delivery until you would feel comfortable driving with your family across country and the bike is clean. Should have u pay for the paint i scratched moving the *** thing because 1 again mike said hurry back with it and long story short bike was in back i didn't want to break my back lifting the tailgate and ended up scratching the *** out of 1 yr old paint. So maybe that might add to me being pissed on top of my wife and 3mth old sitting outside cause Mike kept putting that *** finger in my face saying 1 min im with another customer *** Like today. I asked him to look what i have been *** about and he says my manager wants to see me i cant right now. STANDING IN FRONT OF IT. Thats when i said get the *** out of my face before i lay u out. In total disgust. Ill stand in front of a grand jury and tell nothing but the truth. I also have no problem spending the rest of my life telling,and showing the world what a great time at camping world. Can u imagine a rolling billboard driving across the country and sitting in front of the CAMPING WORLD'S NASCAR SERIES hilbilly *** Big banner or maybe spray paint cause i just dont give a *** anymore. Telling everyone to go to my youtube videos showing the *** u send out the door. Honey, i could care less about a detail, or bin door shocks, and what not but just tell me. Tell me for the luv of god. U sent me down the road not knowing where the lights ,mirrors, windshield wiper controls were located. No 1 even walked me out the door 2 say good bye let alone show me where anything was. I figured it out . But imagine??? 60 yr old retired man or especially a WOMAN who TYPICALLY buys such a unit were to walk out blind sided or crushed buy the tailgate know 1 opened .Should we get started on the detailed walk through that i was raved about by Kelly ? My Family decided to purchase a new Travel Trailer and it was a big decision for us. We did some research and initially weren't scared off by the bad reviews of Camping World. We decided to purchase a Coleman 3015bh and all the warranties that came with it. We used it for one season and traveled. The unit had issues. I brought it in for service and scheduled well ahead of time. Of all the issues none were really addressed the others I was told weren't covered under warranty. I complained... So they said leave it here until the Manufacturers Warranty Expires and We will "Try and Get it Covered under Good Sam Insurance." SCAM. Asked for refund of warranty. Waited 2+ months. Filed Complaint with BBB and still unresolved. Unit is 2 years old. We don't beat it up. Poor Quality. Poor Service. We were lied to. I asked them to back up their product and fix the issues. If someone pays 30k+ for something it shouldn't start falling apart within the first year? Awning,Doors falling out of ceiling, electrical problems, jacks, roof leaks, exterior fenders blowing apart on thruway, tires don't last 5k, glue joints leaking on tank valves, microwave falling out, slides jump all over, outdoor kitchen slide screws just falling out everywhere. Ran into the Sales Woman who is no longer an employee and she stated. "I clubbed you on that deal" Lol. Those things are junk and they are made by a bunch of *** Heads in Mexico." Really unhappy with my purchase and still owe 27k. Might last another season not sure?

Camping World in Roseville, California - New a Dealer who is Honest

We bought a new 2019 Thor Fourwinds 31Y- 8/25/18. Dealer said was Solar was included on the motorhome, yeah right everything but the solar panel on roof. Warranty - Got home reviewed the packet, starting filling out the warranty, turned the page over and surprise - the dealer was also to fill out the warranty. The fours hours we sat in front of lady doing the final paper work you would have thought both parties could have filled it out and mailed it to Thor at that time. But NO - Now they want me to drive 150 miles to Roseville to have them sign the warranty. For 2 of the hours all the lady doing the paper work pushed and pushed for us to extended warranty, some stupid tire blowout system and a protective cover for outside and inside the couch. Drove it home, checked it, out moved the slider out, ran water in the sinks - Guess what - water all over the floor When the slider was out the hose from the sink to the gray water was located in such a manner that in broke from fittings. Camping World said Well I've seen that happen a lot. Bring it back and we will repair it. Yeah right 2 hour drive for the to glue in back together. If they knew it happened before why didn't they take the panel off to see the connection? Now I going to see what Thor has to say. I will never, never do business with Camping World again. If I treated my customers with lies I wouldn't have any

My surge protector burnt up Sunday in Grand Isle LA. I drove to Hammond La to get it repaired. They didn’t have one nor offered to help find one. Went back to RV and located one oin Robertsdale MS. Called they said they could put it on in 2 days. Drove 3 hrs to get there to be told it would be next week before they could put it in. Located Another one in Jackson MS. 4 hours away. They say they can put it in tomorrow. Shocked

We purchased the Extended Warranty when we purchased our 2016 FR Berkshire. We purchased it Nov 30, 2016. First we have/had a Leak over the Living Room Slide. We took that in under the One Year Warranty under Forest River. We had the same water leaked worked on 3 times..Now hopfully it is fixed however neither Forest River or Our CW Extended Warranty refuses to cover the cost. Coming home from Florida in May the Living Room Slide would not close all the way. We took it in to America Rv and they have repaired the issue. HOWEVER, NOW CW EXTENDED WARRANTY IS REFUSING TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS??? We paid $6,000.00 for the warranty and they are refusing to payfor what is suppose to be covered, reason unknown. The Coach was taken in for repairs several times..Until the Slide quit working properly they now say the tracks were rusty. Based on the Coach has never been in ice or snow there should be no reason. I want to know WHY this was not covered. Has cost us additional app $1000.00 VERY VERY DISGUSTED WITH CW AND FR Since the leak was reported almost from day 1. Strange we have had a leak and then tracks being rusty same area.
