We were sold a jayco popup later to find the floor had "catastrophic water damage" and was mildewing and rotting BEFORE we bought it. We only found this out when the cranking mechanism failed to work because it tore off the rotting particle board.

We would have needed a scope, an xray machine, psychic and a crowbar OR an honest dealership/salesman to have known any of this. We have pictures showing a box was constructed to conceal the fact that someone else had previously found the damage. Extreme deception. Does anyone know if there is a way using the VIN to determine if there were any repairs or insurance claims paid out?

Do dealerships have a way to do this? In my opinion and experience, Avoid Camping World Knoxville on Alcoa Highway.

General Manager Joe Hoey was rude and snarky to me and clearly considered this to be my headache, not his. Buyer beware.
