Camping World IS THE DEVIL IN DISGUISE, AT LEAST IN GREENWOOD, IN!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AFTER THE SALE!!!!
We bought our $80K 5th wheel toy hauler after seeing it at an Expo show. However, after we got it home, less than 2 months we started having issues.
The living room slide out gears went out. It would not go back in. They wanted us to bring to them. We explained that was not possible since we couldn't get the slide out back in.
After "arguing" for awhile they agreed to send someone pick it up. They had the camper approx 3 months. When we got it back there were screws they did not put back in, our wood trim around bar was chipped, the a/c vent had fell out from the ceiling and broke.
The first year we had the camper Camping world had it 8 months out of the 12!!!
After we got it back within a couple months the slide out gears messed up again. We had them come back to pick it up, after several heated phone conversations. This was in November 2013, we explained we needed it back by January 2014 for a business show we were going to. Called them and again several calls later they finally say it is done.
We go to pick it up and our batteries were missing, propane tanks were empty, the slide out was NOT fixed! Our show was in Indianapolis, IN so we told them we HAD to have it and after the show they could pick it back up at the fair grounds and fix it! They came and picked it up and had it approx 3-4 months, our first time out camping for the season in 2014 the slide out messed up again! We have been trying to get them to come get it again and fix it but they are saying our warranty has run out and it will cost us.
Needless to say my husband has been on the phone with corporate and anyone else but to no avail. Our next step is to get a lawyer and sure them. It is ridiculous that we make monthly payments on something that we can't even use!!! What is even more ridiculous is CAMPING WORLD and their customer service after the sale!!!
Like most of the comments I have read, we have never had such disrespectful service and you would think when you spend that much money they would be very appreciative but they are not. While we have "bought" our camper in May 2013 we have had the same issue starting that summer STILL NOT FIXED and they have had our camper more than we have!!!
