We are very clean people who take great care of our things, especially what was meant to be a short-lived full-time home-on-wheels.We bought our Heritage Glen Lite fifth wheel from Camping World StG, Ut who shipped it from Indiana.It was intended for travel but we have never been able to make it anymore than a couple hrs out of town.

Great concept/floor plan, terrible terrible workmanship!! These guys are all about pumping out quantity not QUALITY! The day we drove home with it, the wall was warped, staples all coming out, thermostat popping out, trim breaking. We noticed it, called Camping World, they said not to worry because its a very easy fix and we just need to bring it in.

We make an appointment, bring it in, (a month later) and had 20+ other problems with it but have only had it parked in 3 different locations where is has just sat! Walls falling apart, screws all coming out everywhere, trim & glue coming undone, infestation of bugs and spiders get through the slides and we have had it professionally sprayed twice plus our own insect killer! Leaves, rain, mud, you name it, it gets in through the slides! The curtain rods came off the wall, the blinds broke, the fridge went out multiple times, the tank sensors dont read properly, the water pump went out twice, the cheap thin plywood benches at dining area broke through.

I could go on and on, the slide outside has the trim warping and coming off so outside elements can come inside, the DVD player gets too warm during a movie and skips or pauses brand new DVDs. The Propane line had a small leak. The front jacks have gone out over 7 times in 3 months, we had to manually crank them each time and replace the fuses, once the crank broke too! All the doors are on uneven and warped so they dont shut properly, and those are getting worse!

The handle on front door jams. Absolutely zero insulation! Paper thin walls, you can hear people whisper from 30 feet away outside. All the floor vents bent and damaged when we purchased it and it was supposed to be brand new!

Even with all of this ridiculous stuff happening, we would let it all roll off our shoulders if the 8 year warranty we bought on top of the 1 yr, actually helped... but we have been waiting MONTHS for help to fix it and the last time we took it in, Camping World let it sit in there for almost 1 entire week without doing a single repair! They had all kinds of excuses, AFTER telling us how 'easy it all was to fix and should only take a day to two!' And the guy says, "you know, dont hesitate to just fix these repairs yourself, you dont have to worry about me voiding your warranty, just fix them yourself." Wow!!! Just wow...

that is NOT what Customer Service is, and certainly not what a Warranty is for! Money already came out of our pocket for THEIR failures & the careless manufacturing craftsmanship! Then upon getting our 5th wheel back from them, we were told we would have to travel 4 hours to get our repairs done because they had a guy walk out on the job and also were incapable of fixing things due to various reasons and one being that it was their "busy season" completely unprofessional! Parts apparently take a seriously extended amount of time from the manufacturer.

This is a traggic loss for us and what we had hoped for in our purchase and the poor service we have recieved after the purchase was made. They only cared when they wanted it sold, and once we bought, we recognized how differently we were treated and how careless this company/manufacturer actually is. This is more than a rip off this is a total scam & fraud as far as selling an unfinished model that was not properly fixed, & a 1 yr & 8yr warranty that has not done a thing to help us in our situation that is literally fall apart all around us. Camping World should be addressing these issues professionally and not just considering their SALES but also their Clients who bought and are still paying them for their purchases/warranty for all repairs, rather than just take our money and neglect their customers.

We feel completely baffled by Camping World and the manufacturer they swore to be one of the best in quality.

We want to stop being told we will be all taken care of with no problems, and actually see something done.This shouldnt be happening to so many people.

Sounds like you need to make a call to the company that made the camper, They should be able to help you fix the camper.
