We purchased a used RV from camping world in Tampa late last spring It stayed parked in storage sox 8 months with just being started weekly. We got it out prior to going on a 3 month trip.
Generator would not work. We took it in. $300 later they said it was fixed. We got to North Carolina and it was out of oil .
We filled it up and went on to upstate New York. Out of oil again after 6 gallons of oil we called camping world in Syracuse and the fixed it and our awning strap pronto for very reasonable price. Then after about a week the generator froze up and couldn't be fixed because the company no longer exist and parts cannot be found. We had extended warranty but they said they only par for parts and wasn't their fault it couldn't be fixed.
Our service rep Christine Parks went to bat for us and ended up getting them to pay 76% of the cost. We are stuck here waiting fo r the new generator but camping world is allowing us to stay in lot with full hook-ups and Christine has been wonderful. We have watched as she has spent countless hours on phone witn warranty people and finding and tracking our generator and the parts to install it. I'm not too happy with Tampa CW.
I feel the list of the generator may be due to their negligence in not recognizing the generator had an oil leak to begin with. But Syracuse camping World is great. Everyone there has be extremely nice and I don't know what we would have done without Christine. She went above and beyond the call of duty (even after I was not so nice to her.
Yelling at her for things that was not her fault).Love her!
