Camping World in Hollins, Virginia - Horrible customer service

We purchased a camper from a different camping world several years ago and last year noticed some damage to the canvass. We have been trying on and off for over a year now to reach there parts department and get a quote on replacing it. All I ever get is voice mail and they NEVER return the messages. I'm ready to find some place else to deal with this.

Bought a 5th wheel BRAND NEW, used it twice and had several problems. Took it in for service to get fixed and it’s been there for 2 months and still not even touched and they are saying it will be another 2 weeks before it’s done. Which I’m sure we will hear the same story in 2 weeks as this is the third time they have told us ‘2 WEEKS’ I recommend never buying or servicing anything at camping world!

Camping World in Van Buren, New York - Horrible. Stay away. Year long nightmare

*** Most who know me, know I try to find the good. Well for the past year we have experienced the worse customer service imaginable. We bought a new, and I stress new, camper from Camping World in Syracuse, NY. An excited time for us & the plans we had for some memories. The sales was great. Phenomenal service to get our business, of course. That is where it ended. We noticed some issues & major ones. A cracked counter top. A support underneath that wasn’t attached & several other items. We contacted them immediately, got the run around, no response & finally after I placed a negative yelp review, corporate got a hold me. We explained the issues, they asked us to bring it back we did. They kept it forever. We go back & several issues were still not correct. We start the communication go around again. Finally at the end of September we dropped off again to fix. Keep in mind this was a brand new camper. They finally let us know they were finished in November. Wayland drives to Syracuse in a snow storm, tries to look everything over notices something is still not right. Was informed they would mail the parts to us. Three months later we received them. Well when he brought home from Syracuse ( the great northeast) in a snow storm, he took in straight to storage. Well guess what it’s camping season. We set it up & find the parts they sent to us are incorrect & the area that should have been fixed is now worse. This is now one year later from our first contact with them. Another line of communication started today. We were told by the General Manager basically told it’s our fault for his Service Team’s short comings. That we should be checking their work. Now remember we told them of the issues in November & they sent us, three months later, the wrong parts. Hmmm, I did not realize I was responsible for that’s business work. So at the end of this, we will notify the Better Business Bureau and take whatever actions necessary. However, if I can steer anyone away from such a nightmare I will. Please please do not use this company, shop locally. I would hate to see anyone have to deal with this nightmare.
