We bought a fairly new fifth wheel. We paid the $700+ to have everything checked out.
They failed to notice that the back axle u-bolts were loose. After less than 1000 miles, the axle rotated completely in the u-bolts, bending the axle and ruining two tires. We also had two major roof leaks, and resulting water damage (damage done prior to our purchasing the trailer). The roof had not been checked, either.
Camping World said the $700+ was for checking the appliances, nothing else.
This is not what the salesman had told us.They refused to respond to either issue.
