Charged me in-state and out-of-state sales tax, but refuse to provide the exact amount and how they calculated those taxes. I’m concerned I may have been cheated. Otherwise, they should be happy to provide the details.

This is possibly the worst place for service period. Be glad you did not purchase from them. They cannot perform competent work. The GM's are fired all the time. The service department is only allowed to order parts from Gander RV, they can't use their company credit...

Camping World in Robertsdale, Alabama - Catalog sales

As large as this company is you would think their shipping would be on spot. I placed an order a week ago. Called this morning to check on it. Still not shipped. This is ridiculous. What is the problem? Won’t order again if I ever get this item.

I waited for days inside the store to try and make a deal on a used Class C camper. Once we finally were able to negotiate prices, I was handed an abnormal paper with no break down of cost. I didn't agree with the monthly payment, and the finance guy "Sal" started...

Bought our trailer at this location for my husband to stay in on his job. The water heater leaking, fridge never worked on electricity, we paid a ton for propane. Took it in for service about 30 days ago told it would be ready in 1.5 weeks. Drove 3 hours to pick it up...

Camping World in Alabaster-Helena, Alabama - Third-party release of information

I was told by a sales manager; Sal, from the Calera store near Birmingham, Alabama; if we did not sign a third-party release of information he could not sell us the travel trailer. I would like some clarification on that fact.

Camping World in Anniston, Alabama - Poor service

I bought a 2019 Dutchman Atlas in November, at your Oxford, Alabama location. It was winterized and not everything was checked during the walk around. I went camping on April 12th and found a few issues, but the largest issue was the black tank valve was stuck halfway open. Upon leaving as I went by the dump station, when I removed the cap, I was covered in sewage, I ended up getting a staph infection. I went to the service department in Oxford, Alabama, and they were unable to get to it by April 22, in which we were going to Talladega raceway. So they sent a tech out named Lee to see if he could do anything real quick so we could still go to the races and we made an agreement with management that we would bring it back right after the races. Lee cut the underbelly and we discussed what might be able to be done to get it closed. Well the valve got closed, but the cable is bad. So following the race we brought the camper to get the warranty work done and they wouldn't take it. We were told that they sold a lot of campers at the races and those ones come 1st. I lost my temper and raised my concerns to management and everyone else. They finally did take our camper, however I also purchased a wineguard Wifi and cell booster and paid $90.00++ dollars to have it installed even though they were advertising install anything for $59.00. They said it was for extra materials, so I just went along with it. This was on May 30th. They told me that they would have my camper in the shop in 2 weeks, and then they would turn it in to warranty. Well it's been 3 weeks now, and my camper still hasn't been looked at. We told them we have a trip scheduled to leave June 28th. to Sarasota, Fl., its paid for and non refundable, because it's for the Week of July 4th and the Offshore Grandprix is going on. I want my parts installed and my camper repaired. I dont want to hear your busy or short handed. Your poor planning is not my fault, if you lost employees it's not my fault either. With poor management comes high turnover, you need to look at them. I also have an extended warranty with Good Sam's, which you own also. No parts have even been ordered for my camper. The next phone call I make is to my brother John Murgatroyd the Executive producer with CNN in Atlanta. Maybe a good news story on your service departments issues around the Nation will be nice a news story. If you dont believe me, just Google my brothers name along with CNN or check his Twitter account. All I want is my camper fixed and to get the service I paid for Thank you, Keith Murgatroyd 256-419-3435 - this is so you can verify my good Sam's membership and look up my travel trailer

Camping World in Robertsdale, Alabama - Worst service ever!

1.0
Details
The service department doesn't answer their phone nor return calls. I brought my new/used RV in to have the 45 Point inspection done just double check the systems. It took days and many calls (no answer or message left and no return call) just to find out what they found. Once I was finally able to talk to Kevin, he reviewed it and to my surprise he said they found the furnace wouldn't light and that one of the two AC units wouldn't cool. I found that strange because they were both working fine when I purchased it. I was mostly concerned about the gas and charging sytems. I figured something happened so I asked them what was wrong with the furnace and he told me that it would require an hour to diagnose st $135 per hour. Apprehensively I decided to let them do the "diagnostic". Days went by. They didn't call or answer messages i left. Finally I was able to get through after numerous calls. Blake was unable to find the diagnostic report in his system. He said he would call me back shortly after he tracked it down. Days went by again. Same scenario, no answer, no return calls. The next time I finally got through I told them I was tired of the run around and was driving down to retrieve my RV. When I got their, I found that they hadn't even looked at it. I got my RV home and decided to check the furnace and the AC's out. They both worked fine. On the furnace the thermostat had to be set to furnace and at the furnace the switch had to be turned on. With the AC, in order to run both AC's you have to be hooked up to 50 amps. If not, only one AC will cool while the fan on the other would blow uncooled air. On top of the runaround terrible service there appears to be a huge level of incompetence or either a scam going on. Buyer beware. Dr. J. Foster, Daphne, AL.

i really wish i had read the reviews BEFORE i bought a brand new 5th wheel in Feburary of this year from Camping World in Robertsdale Al.. 4 months later the in command system has gone out and they have had it for 3 weeks and really do not seam concerned with getting it fixed.

Allready lost 1 weekend end trip and had to cancel our week of vacation this week due to the most irresponsible people in the service department.

In my opinion, it is pretty sad when you can not get a straight answer out of anyone that works there and don't look for them to call you with a update because you r v will rust down before that happens. If we ever decide to upgrade or purchase another rv it DAMM sure will not come from them...........
