Called camping world wauconda il wanting to order parts for my rv called 8 times and no one answered just kept in voicemail que. 9th time I actually got to the cashier and asked for manager. Talk to Ken who said he was manager, took my information and said would take it directly to parts department and they would call me, its now 2 days later and never heard from anyone. Regret becoming a LIFETIME CLUB MEMEBER WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU OR ANY OF YOUR AFFILIATES ......ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! {{Redacted}}

Camping World in Rossford, Ohio - WORST PLACE TO PURCHASE A MOTORHOME

PURCHASED MOTORHOME ON 3/9/2018 AND HAD IT HOME FOR 2 WKS DUE TO PROBLEMS THAT SHOULD OF BEEN ADDRESSED PRIOR TO DELIVER. PAID FOR PAINT AND FABRIC PROTECTION $1500.00 THAT WAS NEVER PUT ON AS OF TODAY 6/19/2018 IT IS STILL THERE AND WE ARE MAKING PAYMENTS ON THIS AND NEVER GOT TO USE IT. TODD LACEY THE GENERAL MANAGER DOES NOTHING BUT LIE TO US WONT RETURN PHONE CALLS. MOTORHOME GOT WRECKED WHILE IN THEIR POSSESION AND CAN'T RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS. CALLED THOR AND CAMPING WORLD CORP AND THEY ARE OF NO HELP ALL WE HERE IS SOMEONE WILL CALL YOU BACK WITHIN 48 HRS AND NO ONE DOES. ITS TO THE POINT WE ARE GOING TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY AND WE HAVE CONTACTED THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. OUR ADVICE IS DON'T MAKE A PURCHASE FROM CAMPING WORLD AND STAY CLEAR OF THOR MANUFACTURER.

I called him and spoke to him but Camping World of Rossford sent us to Michigan to get another motorhome so now I have to find a attorney in Michigan he said cuz he's not licensed in Michigan

Camping World in Lubbock, Texas - Very Dissatisfied

Took my rv to the Campingworld in Lubbock Tx for a refrigerator issue. They had it for about a month. Finally got in the shop because it wasn’t getting cold at all. Temp stayed on 60. The tech looked at it and supposedly said there was a panel there that wasn’t allowing the cooling fans to work. They cut out the panel and the fans began to work. Got the call that it was fixed and ready to pick up. Drove back to Midland Tx which is an hour and 1/2 plugged the rv back in and nothing. Decided to take it to a different dealer in Odessa Tx and they ran a diagnostic and found that the cooling unit was bad. Campingworld said they didn’t run a diagnostic because the fans and thermostat showed to be working. Now instead of paying my deductible through Good Sam it’s going to cost over $2,000 to fix because the new place doesn’t deal with extended warranty companies because they have been burned in the past. Campingworld is trying to say they aren’t liable. They aren’t standing behind their work.

Camping World - Worst Customer Service EVER!!! DO NOT BUY PARTS FROM THEM

My order was incomplete and customer service would not make it right in real time. everything was 24-48 hours resolution, very sad. talking with them on the phone was terrible, these people hate their jobs and should just quit or maybe the problem is with upper management. somewhere this company is poisoned and has a culture that is disgusting. I would just recommend that people buy their parts elsewhere even if it costs a few more bucks, it will be better in the long run. {{Redacted}}

What can go wrong next, has become our daily question. We purchased our 2018 mallard m-33 last fall in chichester nh from camping world, DO NOT EVER GO THERE. AND DO NOT EVER BUY AN RV BY HEARTLAND. BELIEVE ME. You cannot camp all winter in NH in a mallard m33 as we were told. Fan over stove has never worked,light next to stove act as strobe, screws under carpet,2 doors fell apart.Whole trailer wired on one wire and 15amp breaker. Black water gate valve does not close all the way. awning has holes,screws are snaping off on door thresholds and other places, and on and on. Yesterday it hit 100 here in nh and our ac has quit. As a result I have contacted a law firm this am and we will be starting a class action lawsuit if anyone is interested Ken&Dotty Keating Antrim NH 03440

Was there on Sunday 3 17 2019 was looking at used trailers was interested in a keystone passport ultra lite elite 2013 the salesman don't remember his name threw out his card on the way out he told me I can have the camper for 15000 out the door I told him if he put the brake controller in my van 200 dollars for parts and 2 hours labor (was quoted this price at Lee's rv ranch ) I would give him the 15000 now he came back and said 15150 so he lost a 15000 dollar sale for 150 dollars I am not mad or upset about this in any way I just wanted to throw this out there. There are many other used campers to choose from else ware

We are having the same issue. Our brand new camper has been there since October for warranty work.

While there someone hit a tree will our trailer and they didnt find our about it until they fonally started to work on it in April. Said it need a ladder thats all. Have made countless calls until my husband and I had to drive there and talked to the store manager Matt who told us the same used car story until we left and never heard back from him and never returned our calls. Drove up there again yesterday and we climbed up on the teailer to see the whole roof is ripped never covered and now infested with mice and ants.This is the girst time I have bought from campers world and the ladt.

They didnt want me to call my insurance company they were going to fix it. Guess who Im calling today.

Poor service, terrible management, and you are correct lies lies lies. My husband wants to stand outside the place with a sign if you would like to join us so others arent taken advantage of.We bought the trailer in May of 2017 we used it 3 months and still dont have it as I write this

We have been trying to contact camping world in Syracuse for several days now. They do not pick up the phone or when they do they transferred the to an answering machine. We will never buy another camper from camping world Syracuse!

Needed a 50 amp extension cord for my RV pad. The online price was good. Called their Katy, TX store for 10 min. no answer. Called their national store it said they had 8 in stock. Tried calling the Katy store again no answer. I thought well I need it so drove from Highlands, TX to Katy, TX. At the store was not sure which product was on sale. Took 2 to the counter to ask which was on sale. The lady rolled her eyes at me like why are you asking me a question. A guy brought me the one on sale. The girl at the register said Im gonna save you 10% I go, girl, you will be my friend for life if you save me money, but I don't want a credit card. She said I have to ask my, manager. She came back and started typing some numbers into the computer I looked over at the total it was up to $189.00.Lady, you are not gonna charge me that much for my $114.00 on the sale price. She said to save you the extra 10% you have to buy a 3-year membership. I said no you are not. Paid the on sale price and left. She was pissed I didn't fall for her little up-sale scheme. Left thinking this company isn't gonna be in business in 3 years.

Camping World in Manassas, Virginia - Service. Buy here service here. Shop local

Made appointment for service in manassas va location. Held my camper for 2 months. Called after one month. No record they had camper not even in there system. Called a month later. They had no ideas or projection when it would be ready. I advised them I was on way to pickup. When I got there There was another customer who purchased from the same location. He indicated his camper had been in shop for two months after purchase and not even a courtesy call with updated status. Another customer was in parking lot jelling he was sold a used rv as new. This is one of the three dealers Camping World purchased to capture the VA market. These are the same dealers when I was looking to purchase proudly proclaimed buy here service here others need not apply. They should perge this attitude or employees. At least retrain to a standard of service. No initiative or concern of customer service. No general manager on site.

Bought a camper April 16th, was given a quick explanation of the features and found a couple of problems - loose panel in the shower, broken propane detector. Supposed to have fixed before I left but the slide was in and I didn't open it to see if it was done - my mistake. In June, I decided to have a slide cover installed in advance of my first camping trip. Called, they ordered the part (had me pay $300 up front), it came in and I was told to bring it over Monday May 28th and they would get it done. Brought it over, the service advisor, Michael Murphy, made notes of the problems beyond the slide cover installation, and I left it with them. I was called the next day and asked to pay the balance ($519) for the slide cover before I had even seen it, saying it had been installed and work was starting on the warranty problems. It is now Jun 18th, and I have been calling daily trying to get an idea of what is being done, when I can pick it up, and either no one answers or they promise to call back, and never do... Michael Murphy apparently quit on 11 Jun, and the service manager, also Michael, told me Wednesday he would personally take care of it and call me back on Thursday, Jun 14th. Never called. Called on Thursday and Friday, no one called back. Today, Monday Jun 18th, I finally got the general manager who stated he really didn't know much about "that side" but he would research it and call me back. I am not holding my breath. This is the sloppiest operation I have ever seen in a company of this size, but I guess once they have your money, you're on your own.
