My camping world nightmare

I bought a new camper at camping word .it was advertised at 1499.00 at time of sale they added 1000.00 shipping charge and 500.00 for dealer prep and cleaning . The camper was dirty when I picked it up .The only thing they did for 500.00 was put some greasy *** on the tires The Stove tip was damaged I’ve been waiting 2 months for it to be replaced If you are considering buying a camper at camping world think again

Camping World - NOT WHAT I ORDERED.

I placed an order on June 3, 2018 for a Omnigo antenna kit. I would like to have this before we go camping on June 22, 2018. We got the order on June 8, 2018. They sent the wrong item. So we called the next day to get this fixed. They where to send a call tag to have this item sent back, This was on June 9, 2018. June 13, I took this package to Fed-ex and paid for the shipping back myself. I do the tracking on this item to know when they get it back. That was on June 19, I called to make sure they will reship the right item back to us and by Friday. Was told they could do that with 2nd day air, I agree. Well June 21 I call to get the tracking so I will know where the item is, only to find that it is out of stock and will not be here Friday. MAD, oh yea, I called them not them calling me to say out of stock. So now I get a credit from them, But only on the item Not the shipping or the replacement plan I took out on this item. So here I go again to make a call to get shipping and replacement money back. Was told should have the credit back by Monday June 25, 2018. so I guess we will see. No one there has any clue to what they are doing...

Camping World in Roanoke, Virginia - Bad service

Called on Friday nigjt about front air unit. I was told have it here by 8:30 am and we promise we can fix it even if it has to be replaced and we have a new unit. Left at 6 am and drove 2 .5 hours. Instead of lookng at the air they started telling me what all else i should do while we were here. After 5 hours and almost $500.00 later we eere told they dont carry the air unit but could have it by Monday and have us out no later than Tuesday. We told them to order it and we would stay close and arange out trip around it. On monday i called and was told they were about to order it at 1 pm i ask if they would be able to get it and install it by tuesday as promised. Was told there was no way to have the unit that soon but if i called back tuesday they could let me know more. Tuesday after being put on hold 3 times for a total of 58 min. i was told to call back on Wednesday and he would use the tracking number and let me know where and when the unit was. On wednesday called 4 times was transfered to voice mail. At 3:00 called back and was told " cant track it but i will give you the tracking number and youcan track it. We have now wasted Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed waiting and do not knoe if or when the unit will be there. Have spent over 400.00 waiting. We also spent 350.00 on a portable unit while we wait. Very unhappy

Camping World - SLOW service

I turned my camper in at the Biloxi store on the scheduled drop off appointment date and time on May 23rd 2018. I was told they will get to it. Well get to it when I made an appointment?? Anyway here it is 4 weeks later and still no camper. Nobody called us back so one week later I stopped in at the store and inquired as to the status. I was told the mechanic hadn't gotten to it or turned in a ticket for parts yet. I said ok ill check back in a week. Two weeks went by and nobody had called us so my wife called them. The camper was waiting for parts at that time. 7 June. We waited still no contact so we called them back again 14 June. The camper was done but they were waiting to get information from the warranty people to do the bill. Here it is 20 June still no word from the store and still NO CAMPER. Everybody we talked to on camp sites had nothing good to say about camping world no matter where they were from. If it wasn't for the warranty I would not have gone there. I will not use them again!!

Camping World in San Marcos, California - Useless Service Deparment / No warranty compliance / very poor attitude

I purchased a new Dometic Refrigerator from the San Marcos California Camping WorldLast year in March. The product came with a two year warranty for an installed price of over $1500.00. The unit stopped working two days ago and would not get cold. I called the service department and was told by Dennis Tucker to bring it in and they would diagnose the issue at no charge as it was under warranty. I explained we were on the road but would drive back to get it fixed the next day. Well, low and behold they did not even look at the the unit. I asked why and I was told it was a very low priory as it was a warranty issue. I asked to talk to the service manager, Daryl, and he said they were very busy and would get around to it whenever he could, but since there was no Money in it for his store it would be a couple of weeks to a month before he was ready. Now I told them it was imperative to diagnose the issue so I can be back on the road, but Daryl said he did NOT care. If I did not like that I could pick up my RV and go somewhere else! This is the last draw as an attorney I’m filing a lawsuit and consumer complaint to the state attorney general!!!

Camping World - Worst Customer Service In The World

We spent several thousands of dollars buying an RV from Camping World in North Little Rock Arkansas and as soon as we walked out the door the customer service absolutely went to *** And by that I mean 0 customer service. They have had our RV for 2 months just to replace some weather stripping and replace a tv that cought on fire while we were watching it. They have a different story every time we talk to them as to why it hasn't been done from still waiting on parts to we have the parts just waiting in line back to still waiting on parts. Absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend buying a can of coke from this place because it will be the worst experience you have ever been through. This place absolutely is a joke!!!

Called camping world wauconda il wanting to order parts for my rv called 8 times and no one answered just kept in voicemail que. 9th time I actually got to the cashier and asked for manager. Talk to Ken who said he was manager, took my information and said would take it directly to parts department and they would call me, its now 2 days later and never heard from anyone. Regret becoming a LIFETIME CLUB MEMEBER WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH YOU OR ANY OF YOUR AFFILIATES ......ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! {{Redacted}}

PURCHASED MOTORHOME ON 3/9/2018 AND HAD IT HOME FOR 2 WKS DUE TO PROBLEMS THAT SHOULD OF BEEN ADDRESSED PRIOR TO DELIVER. PAID FOR PAINT AND FABRIC PROTECTION $1500.00 THAT WAS NEVER PUT ON AS OF TODAY 6/19/2018 IT IS STILL THERE AND WE ARE MAKING PAYMENTS ON THIS AND NEVER GOT TO USE IT. TODD LACEY THE GENERAL MANAGER DOES NOTHING BUT LIE TO US WONT RETURN PHONE CALLS. MOTORHOME GOT WRECKED WHILE IN THEIR POSSESION AND CAN'T RESOLVE THE PROBLEMS. CALLED THOR AND CAMPING WORLD CORP AND THEY ARE OF NO HELP ALL WE HERE IS SOMEONE WILL CALL YOU BACK WITHIN 48 HRS AND NO ONE DOES. ITS TO THE POINT WE ARE GOING TO HIRE AN ATTORNEY AND WE HAVE CONTACTED THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE. OUR ADVICE IS DON'T MAKE A PURCHASE FROM CAMPING WORLD AND STAY CLEAR OF THOR MANUFACTURER.

I called him and spoke to him but Camping World of Rossford sent us to Michigan to get another motorhome so now I have to find a attorney in Michigan he said cuz he's not licensed in Michigan

Camping World in Lubbock, Texas - Very Dissatisfied

Took my rv to the Campingworld in Lubbock Tx for a refrigerator issue. They had it for about a month. Finally got in the shop because it wasn’t getting cold at all. Temp stayed on 60. The tech looked at it and supposedly said there was a panel there that wasn’t allowing the cooling fans to work. They cut out the panel and the fans began to work. Got the call that it was fixed and ready to pick up. Drove back to Midland Tx which is an hour and 1/2 plugged the rv back in and nothing. Decided to take it to a different dealer in Odessa Tx and they ran a diagnostic and found that the cooling unit was bad. Campingworld said they didn’t run a diagnostic because the fans and thermostat showed to be working. Now instead of paying my deductible through Good Sam it’s going to cost over $2,000 to fix because the new place doesn’t deal with extended warranty companies because they have been burned in the past. Campingworld is trying to say they aren’t liable. They aren’t standing behind their work.

Camping World - Worst Customer Service EVER!!! DO NOT BUY PARTS FROM THEM

My order was incomplete and customer service would not make it right in real time. everything was 24-48 hours resolution, very sad. talking with them on the phone was terrible, these people hate their jobs and should just quit or maybe the problem is with upper management. somewhere this company is poisoned and has a culture that is disgusting. I would just recommend that people buy their parts elsewhere even if it costs a few more bucks, it will be better in the long run. {{Redacted}}
