Nothing happened just tried to screw me worse. WASTE OF MONEY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON CAMPING WORLD, GOOD SAMS, OR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, *** POOR SERVICE AND NOTHING BUT SCREW JOBS FROM THEM.

Received catalog sale item bilstien shocks, buy 3 get one free install 45-51 each. Called catalog number quoted 116.82 for front and 116.47 for rear told me I would have to order through island lake store called and quoted 850.00 installed, filed complaint spoke to karen said she was manager she quoted me 116.82 for front and 136.00 for rear and 65.00 for shipping intalled price of 750.00 plus shop supplies (which we all now know that will be 100.00 or more) nobody quoted the buy 3 get one free price and then karen wanted to charge 65.00 for shipping, but as a member anything over 35.00 is free shipping. As you all can see its nothing but screw the customer and they always come up with add ons like shipping and shop supplies. I got the same shocks from tirerack.com 83.00 each, I could have a local shop do install for 35.00 each but I just did it myself 2 bolts each shock, it took me me 20 minutes per shock. SORRY I EVER PAID FOR MEMBERSHIP, WASTE OF MONEY, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON CAMPING WORLD, GOOD SAMS, OR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, *** POOR SERVICE AND NOTHING BUT SCREW JOBS FROM THEM.

Camping World in Hope Mills, North Carolina - Go elsewhere!

Terrible customer service. We bought our trailer from Hope Mills NC store.Once you purchase your camper don't expect any help or service.Phone calls to salesman not returned.were Was told we get free road side assistance with our purchase and when we called to activate it, it was only for the tires not the trailer! The sales person said he did not know this. The $1,000 free camping they promote is for one of those resort membership deals. Called multiple times to get 2 items that were missing, told they were shipped by sales manager Patrick and they were not. Three times of calling and 2 months later we complained on line and the service manager Jeff called and said he would ship the items. I told him I would pick them up on our way out camping and was assured they would be at the service desk. We went an hour out of our way and when we got there the girl we were told to ask for was on lunch and no one knew what we were talking about. After 20 minutes someone went and took them off another trailer to give us! If you even think of buying anything here check it well because it may be your trailer they took them from. The trailer swayed all the way home. Did not handle well because the hitch and sway bar they put on was not put on or hooked up correctly! Really!!?? Isn't this what they do!? Second trip out the break assemble broke and we had to replace it. It was under warranty from Dexter and they were great to work with and reimbursed us. Breaks were not adjusted properly. We did not call Camping World to fix because we read the reviews on service and would not even consider using them. The trailer was not cleaned completely, molding is falling off, valve on black tank was left open so when we went to dump the first time it was a mess! Seems like everytime we go out there is another problem. Too many issues to even write about. Sorry we ever purchased from Camping World and would never recommend them.

Camping World - Rip OFF

Took our RV to Camping World in Lafayette La. to have work done paid by our insurance company. The service manager there charged us for work they did not do. When she was questioned about it she said she always makes the work order match the amount of the insurance check! REALLY? They should have taken the materials and labor dollars off the work order. But no she applied the money to the other lines on the work order! So our insurance company paid to make us whole and she decided that it was their money not ours! The last time I checked we pay the insurance company every month to protect our interest, unfortunately they can not protect us from dealerships that have dishonest employees! And another thing! The work that was done was so substandard that we have to worry about hitting a bump when we are going down the road in fear that our ceiling is going to fall in! If you have to go to Camping World in Lafayette make sure you insist on an itemized copy of the work order. Because they will tell you, you can only have the customer copy that does not give you a break down. Because they are trying to hide the charges from you!!!

Camping World - Upset Customer

We ordered some reclining chairs (2) for our Glamping trips. We received them today 6/26/2018 and they was damaged. The box and all. You could see it. So we didn't open, we called customer service right away. Spoke with Andrew M. Then no response. Called back spoke with another CSR she as not helpful at all. We wanted the recliners picked up and reshipped. We wanted to use them July 4th weekend. Still she was not nice at all. She just said someone else needed to handle. She said her manager told her. So I asked to speak with her. Finally on the phone she said Hello. I said whom am I speaking with, Pamela, that's spelled P A M E L A, I said I can spell that. She said the distributor needs to call you. I explained how rude her CSR was, but she was like ok. She did not even care. All I could get was the distributor needs to contact you. Oh but I'm sorry I bought it from Camping World, hello. So I'm the customer. Is this how Camping World treats THIER Customers. Not cool. You will lose business and your name will be mud. Come on..take care of your customers that's what makes you. If not then close your doors...I work hard for my money. Apparently you don't care.... Very Upset Customer on how we was treated....and no product to show for it....never buy here again.. (Find another store they don't care about us)

Mom bought toy hauler, paid way too much, water leak, jack mafunctions, camping world contacted, told they don't have someone you can talk to. Paid $1200. To have prepped , paid $1500. For delivery, when internet add and paper in Coach said not valid in Oregon. Slider doesn't close to travel, fueling station nozel, was switched at delivery from walk through, ended up with old broken nozel instead of new one that was in the brand new coach, when we looked at it. Recliner stitching pulling apart , no one had ever sat in it! Sawdust in heater vents, why did we pay for a 1200.$ car wash!!!! missing caps on cargo door, really??? Ya know, what ever happened to customer service???

They charged me $595 for a PDI that didn't happen. They told me no water damage. I found evidence of it after I got home and was able to do a deep dive. And mice droppings where it was a little difficult to clean. They owe me $595 The sales person told me on Saturday afternoon about 1 pm, If you can get your pop-up up here we can possibly get you in the camper you want. Once I got up there (140 miles) Davenport, Ia from Peoria, Il. No there is no way the camper would be ready. My wife and I went back home and I went back on Monday. I should have ran then. Lesson learned.

Camping World in Jackson, Mississippi - Service Manager is a Bully

I was in Camping World in Byram MS today and was picking up some items to go out of town around 430pm and the service manager the young lady Liz said his name was Chance was so rude to a young man all because he broke some tool. I felt so sorry for the young man as this man yelled at him in front of customers belittling him and calling him out of his name then accused him of being a drug user. I have had to deal with this man several times every time I come in he is so rude to his employees and very racial he is not a good look for Camping World. We will no longer do business at this location until they get rid of such a hateful employee.

Camping World in Davenport, Iowa - Beware of internet price and upselling

Was attracted to a specific unit and the internet price at camping world. Had a relatively good experience with the sales person at Camping World Davenport--Sean. But issues came once the details of the prices came. First, the internet price is ONLY IF YOU finance your RV through Camping World. For our unit, the cash price was $1500 more. But you can pay off the loan at anytime, so went to the painful process of filling out the dozens of papers to finance the unit. Next before you get to the bottom line on price, you go through an hour long presentation that starts with all of the advantages through Good Sams club you get from buying from Camping world--3 yrs elite Sams member plus travel assist, etc. Then quietly you go into "options" that are there "for your protection!" They give you a bunch of things that can go wrong like near death accidents that you get free med-flights, or having 3 blowouts with ruined rims that are all covered, to your RV refrigerator dying at year 3 and requiring disassembly of the RV to get the refrigerator out. All sounds good till you see the price. In our case a $21,500 travel trailer suddenly had a $10,000 additive! They bury this cost in what they show you in minimum monthly payment fees by moving the loan time from 6 to 12 years! Next, our travel trailer was nicely prepared for us to pick up. Had a good walk-around with Rick. But was told I couldn't back-up with the equalizing hitch. Just read instructions. Can backup except unless you are backing up a quick grade change. Also after the first outing, I noticed the equalizing bar wear pattern was very close to the ends of the bar. Read the installation instructions. Found the brackets on the trailer frame 2" too far to the rear. Went to move them and found the mounting bracket bolts were severely under torqued--approximately 25 ft-lbs instead of the 65 ft-lb spec. This caused the brackets to move rearward. Also found the rear screen door latch self tapping mounting screws had been stripped. Had to apply a DYI fix. Yes Camping World has state wide support and the elite Good Sam's membership is nice. But take into consideration the total cost and see if it is a value to you
