I do not believe the parts department would tell the truth if their life depended upon it not even sure if they actually ordered the part for two weeks they have told me it would be in on Friday when Friday comes he said it will be on Monday I call on Monday and they say it was just shipped that Monday

Camping World - Worst service I have seen

Wouldn’t recommend there parts department I needed a different capture plate for my slider hitch been almost a month I check on Monday for the last two weeks and they keep saying well it shipped today will be Friday call Friday they say should be Monday call Monday they say it just shipped out for the last two weeks getting really tired of the lies they wonder why there ratings are so low they have ruined the last two weekends they needed the plate I had for my old camper So traded for credit on new one it was only used 100 miles gave me 20 credit guarantee the did sale it for that

I have called my local dealer several times and been hung up on and never could get an answer on wether or not the spare tire that was supose to be on the camper i bought was in or if even got ordered. The day I bought it they tried to tell me that model didnt come with one but i show them the mount under neeth and they started back stepping

Camping World in Rossford, Ohio - Sevice

I have been calling Camping World of Rossford Ohio for a period of three weeks to get a fifth wheel hitch and have it installed. Either no one answers or I get an answer message with no return call. Must be nice to be making so much money that you don't need customers! Go some place else, don't waste time with this place.

Nothing new they was probably out on the loading dock socializing they "don't give a *** about customers" their words not mine and I know this cause I'm a former employee who heard the majority of them speak those words on numerous occasions and even in front of their store manager who just laughs about it!!!

Not happy with visit to camping World

We, my family and I were at your Oakwood, Ga Camping World. We were Only looking to purchase camper in the future and expressed that to the sale rep. Our visit went south from there. Our family felt like we were the ones being looked into or against the entire time Sales rep with tattoo on neck followed our family around and became very rude when expressed to him we were just looking today and did not need his assistance. Our teenagers asked to leave. Daughter later told me that salesman was in her space many times and was not sure what he was trying to do or his intentions. He continued to talk even when we turned to each other to discuss. .......... Would not be quiet so that our family could discuss. He continued to talk and we finally left. We are an educated family and he was insulting to us. We Did not trust him, he was very unprofessional. It would have been a better experience had the sales man been polite and more professional when told looking only. We were not able to even think about the things we discussed prior to trip to Camping World. The guy with the tattoo on his neck needs another job.

although it is not correct to label people, I find these tatooed people to be obnoxious salespeople in general, and at this dealership, and I have learned to not deal with them. Unfortunately I must get slightly rude before they will leave me alone.

Camping World in Wentzville, Missouri - Severely disappointed

We bought a camper on June 4th. This was a used camper a 2017 Sunset Trail. It just got on their lot May 31st and we bought it on June 4th after they assured us everything was in working order. Finally got to take it out on the weekend of the 30th of June. The converter would not keep the battery charged, the hot water heater smells rotten eggs so they didn't check it or flush it, are slide on one end of it slopes down so you feel like you're going to fall out you can set a glass on the table and it's an inch and a half out of being level. But the biggest thing that really aggravated me was when I asked why the front cap was so dingy looking, the salesman told me oh that's just dirt it'll wash clean well guess what it didn't its oxidation and on the day we picked it up it was cloudy so we couldn't see it but the very next day the sun was out I looked out the window at my new camper and seen the two different colors, call them right away they told me they will take care of it. We hauled it all the way back down there they didn't take care of it, they offered to spray the protective coating on it and they did but it didn't take care of it, and of course now they're not going to take care of it we are stuck with it. Don't believe anything they say the icing on the cake was after we got all set up in our camping spot we ate dinner that night and I went to do dishes, and the sink would not drain. Grey water tanks were both left full, what this tells me is that they are incompetent they don't really check out used units before they sell them and then you're stuck with all the problems I'm having to take your camper back and trying to make them fix it, and oh and by the way we didn't have a full hook-up site. When I said this to the service manager he said well somebody just forgot to empty the tank. It is a good thing that we had a tank with us to drain it or else we would have had to hook back up and go up to the dump station. Now our camper is back at Camping World for the third time trying to get these things fixed, they're guaranteeing me that my camper back in time for me to pack it and leave on my next trip August 5th I will keep you posted as to what's goes on. Oh one other important thing when you're going through your walk through and the lights are dim and the slide won't go out and the on awning is not going out don't let them tell you it just needs a bigger battery it's your converter. But they did put a bigger battery in and it lasted for 2 days and then we woke up to 90 degrees inside our trailer at 3 in the morning and had to hook up a battery charger to make it through the next 2 days. I will be checking everything they say they have fixed because I don't really know if they know if it's been fixed I have no confidence in them at all.

07/07/2018- arrived ready to buy a camper. One of the younger employees wrote down which campers for us to look at and sent us on our way. We wandered around lost. When we finally headed back to the main office, we came across another couple who was also lost. Turns out they had the same “help” we did. We will never step foot on that lot again.

Bought a used spartan 5th wheel toy hauler a couple days ago. Experience started off pretty good. Sales guy was decent for a sales guy. Decided on the trailer we wanted made the deal then everything has gone south from there. Was originally told that we would sign on the rv when they delivered it so we wouldn’t have to drive all the way back up to Portland. That was a lie. Was told it would be delivered on Thursday. Also a lie. Had to drive back up Friday to sign papers. Got no walk through on how this unit works. They said that a service guy would come on delivery to go through everything and how things work. Another lie. It finally got delivered Saturday at 6 pm. The guy that delivered it was awesome but was just a retired guy that only delivers rv’s. He knew nothing about this unit. So with the help of google and YouTube and the delivery guy figured how to level it but couldn’t figure out the center stabilizing jacks. Finally figured out how to get the slides out once it was leveled. The delivery guy called a service guy but there wasn’t anything he could do and he was pretty irritated. Which I get being called at 8 at night on a Saturday. So the point of this is not once did they ever makes sure we was taking care of or made sure we had complete knowledge of how to use this RV before sending us off on our way. So far the people at the wood village camping world have been really poor to work with. I’m not sure how they even stay in business with all of the *** reviews they receive. I would NEVER EVER recommend any I know to do business with camping world and I highly recommend that anyone reading these bad reviews to trust us on what we are saying. These places are horrible.

Camping World - Great Experience with the Salesman...Myron Feggins

We have purchased two RVs from this facility. One was a 2018 Freedom Elite and the other was a 2019. The salesman we used in BOTH cases was Myron Feggins, a very nice gentleman that we first met at an RV show in Atlanta. He was very helpful in handling the purchase of both RVs and I would highly recommend you use him if you decide to purchase from this facility. We had several problems with our initial RV and when we needed something AFTER we took delivery, we called Myron and he made sure what it was we needed was taken care of. My wife wanted to trade the 2018 in for one that had a little more room so we went with the 2019,,,same model but with a sofa in it and newer appliances. Again we used Myron and he came through again. Other people there could take lessons on how to deal with customers from this young man.

Camping world San Marcos has no working ac or working fans. Way to hot for the employees and to even shop. Get it fixed ASAP!
