Camping World - Worst customer service!!!

Promises made of timely work and technician on RV are the worst I have seen. They promise to be done with rv on 10 July and here I sit waiting on the 11 of July. They don’t start work on a timely manner to complete work. Also the tech doesn’t know what he is doing! This is the second time for these issues. No managers on site to put a fire under the feet on the workers to do the jobs... Worst CW Fayetteville, NC. Stay away!!! Angry

75000.00 spent should of bought a big horn instead that is what I had before and no problems. montana coaches suck a huge wast of money stuck with it now. Over charged cable dosent work bought 3rd ac doesn't work properly fenders flap going down road screws comimg out trim poping off walls. gave 20 item list to 4 people have to return to dealer to fix 10 items . Had to wait for fork lift person to get back from lunch 45 min to get to trailer and to pick up trailer both times. warning the fork lift guy will completely stop everything at camping world because no one else can operate it while he is at lunch.

BJ Hallet from the Chichester,NH store was very helpful in assisting us in trying to find the right Class c motor home. He reached out to us when new units came in and included extra pictures for us. We have been dealing with a few rv stores. BJ was the best sales person with the best customer service of any of the other stores we dealt with. Thanks BJ. Hallet RV One in Albany NY was the worst experience we have ever had.. Exit One in Fair Haven VT was good but a small dealership and nice also. Go see BJ Hallet in Chichester NH.

The camping world in Burlington wa. has the most unqualified people I have ever come across in any business. They do not answer phone calls and still have not returned a call to myself, my wife or my insurance rep in three days after all of us have tried calling them numerous times. I will not ever do business with camping world again and will happily share my experience with others.

buying from camping world is the worst mistake ive ever made in my life I bought a camper and it had a problem with the rear slide they agreed to fix it well the half *** fixed it I brought it back 3 times after they fixed it the last time rain came in and damaged the wall next to the rear slide where the gasket they kept trying to fix wasn't fixed right so after fighting with this store to get them to fix the wall 8 month date of purchasing it they finally fixed it so I ask the manager Dave Sherman to charge the camper make sure it is ready for use and I also asked him for documents showing all repairs that they have done Dave Sherman hung up on me but didn't hang up all the way I herd him talking to his co workers accusing me of being on drugs and being intoxicated he then picks the phone up and I told him I herd him and that he shouldn't be judging me at all he didn't know me what so ever I dont use drugs or drink he said he was sorry so I am expecting to pick up my camper the next day ready to go I just bought me a new house had a driveway pored for my camper out back I go pick up my camper and the camper is completely dead. I called Kenny Durham I guess from corporate and he called and asked the store to put battery in they did I pulled camper home the next day I set the camper up and noticed a awful smell I looked everywhere and in the fridge was porring out maggots from someone putting food in the fridge now I empty the camper and showed them I didn't leave anything in fridge or anywhere else that would go bad but when I picked camper up rotting meat in fridge the smell I will never get out and will not be able to use this camper this was done out of spite and to top it all off the inner gasket is hanging out of the wall where they just fixed it this is totally an outrage and dont know what else to do

Camping World - *** Salesman

I had to go inside and find someone to help us. Finally, found a young man playing on his computer, and he didn’t seem happy about having to help me. We then met him down at the gate where the fifth wheels are parked and got on his golf cart...only to be nearly dumped off as we flew between campers We told him what we were looking for and he unlocked three...not what we were looking for. Found one more hat might work and he couldn’t even tell us the price....said the price varies what’s up with that. LOL. I told him we were done and got on the golf cart to go back to our car. I ask him how long he had been selling campers, and he said about four months....I just laughed and said, “that’s what I thought”....this guy needs lots of training in order to ever be successful. Didn’t get his name, but he better be glad I’m not his boss!

It sucks that camping world can do this to people

I bought a new 2017 high country with front living been the worst thing I have ever done before. bought it at camping world in montecelo mn . it was suppose to be able to handle the winters in mn but couldn't even handle 28 degrees. now camping world wants to give me half price back for it when it wasn't even what I paid for. I will never do business with them ever again. they will sell anything to you with out even caring for what you want. all there after is your money and nothing else. way to go camping world get rich off everyone else and don't take blame on yourself. had nothing but trouble with them. there service sucks and peoples skills need a lot of help. so I say to other people please stay away from camping world so you don't get taking advantaged of.

We purchased a RV from Camping world and beyond our sales person who was a genuine person, when it came to having warranty work and service they were less than helpful or professional. They knew nothing regarding the internal workings of our RV. Our experience was in Houston.

Camping World in Marion, North Carolina - Lousy service

I took my camper in for service 4 wks ago. I wanted an awning repaired, propane and slide service. I have been lied to repeatedly. I have been told more than 5 times it would be fixed. No one from the service dept will return my calls, when I do talk to someone, they promise to call me back but never do. No one seems remotely interested in helping me. I actually bought my camper from Tom Johnson, does not seem to matter. Now I am supposed to go on my vacation and my camper is still not fixed. I will not buy anything from them again, and recommend no one does.

The number of problems with my new Heartland M231 were endless. We finally got it to the campground after buying it in the fall for the first time in the spring about 300 miles from home and they told us we would have to bring it back to them to do all repairs since it was under warranty. I was not going to pull the camper back home 300 miles every time there was a problem. Our expectation buying new versus used was that there would be no problems, expecting the Heartland to be a quality product especially at such expense. I am not a rookie when it comes to campers since have been a camper for 60 years. The cheap Pex water connections leaked with water flowing all over the floors. The remote for the radio would not work so I ordered and paid for a new one. The valve on the toilet would not work resulting in leaking so I replaced the assembly. The faucet leaked on the shower so I replaced the entire faucet assembly. The water connection under the bathroom sink leaked so I replaced it. The electric line to the microwave did not work, so a new line was run. The cheap plastic connector at the hot water heater had its thin metal ring simply fall off and water leaked all over the floor. I went to Lowes and bought a better brass connector correcting the problem once installed. A water connector under the kitchen sink simply fell off leaking water all over the place. Several connectors were not tight and fortunately I checked them all and tightened them. There were no hooks in the bathroom to even hang towels so I bought some hooks. The wood panel hiding the water heater was paper thin. The one vinyl decal on the outside started crinkling so I ordered one from Heartland and installed. It took me a week to get the decal from Heartland RV. I took the camper back to the dealer for a safety recall and the replacement LED lights sent to the dealership by Heartland were damaged. So it's another week before they got a good part (I hope) and another three days before they can install it. Our so-called vacation camping days went away. I tried to have another dealership local to the campground do the safety recall work but they said would have to completely redo the paperwork and would take weeks before could get all the paperwork done, let alone get a service appointment. This Heartland Mallard is titled an ultra lite and that is because it is made out of cheap thin materials. You can read all the infinite number of reviews on-line of the poor quality and service for Heartland owners. I will NEVER buy another Heartland and the service by their dealerships and themselves is poor. I lost over $8K by trading it in on a different new brand trailer and a different RV dealer but I am just glad to get rid of the Junker.
