Don' buy from Camping World

Bought 2017 Forest River Park Model and nothing but problems. I am a senior on fixed income. Several things went wrong in the first few months. Icemaker quit working, floor had scorch marks in living room, 1st bedroom and now bathroom following the line of the heating duct, heater/ac quit working and no one knew how to work on it in my area plus they didn't want to deal with the warranty and me being on fixed income i can't afford to pay. I lived without heat and a/c for 2017. They did pay for the tow of my trailer to Roseville from Minden, NV in Dec 2017 and paid for a week at hotel but when it came back everything worked - icemaker quit again after week, flooring couldn't be replaced because too cold, heater quit again towards end of this winter, then recently the blind in one window broke off. Now I have no way to get it to Roseville and can't find anyone that will fix everything and CW won't find people to work on it here. They tell me I have to get the trailer to them. I don't own a 3/4 ton vehicle to tow it and can't afford to have someone do it. This was my first experience with an RV and it will be my last. I have wanted them to just take it back and pay off the loan.

Purchased a brand new Forest River Vengeance toy houler from these people last year. They have had my unit in their shop for repairs as long as I've have had the unit at home. Still needs repairs and I can't even get the store manager Marvin Humphries to return a call after leaving numerous messages. Recently picked my unit up from a tank repair and this is what I get before I get home. Check out the pictures. They just cut the under pinning and taped it back. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE CAMPING WORLD FOR YOUR PURCHASE.

WE also live in Byron ga...feel your pain! In April we bought a NEW 2018 Jayco Eagle camped in it three times.

One problem after another slides don't work had to push them in by hand on first camping trip. Camping World said they replaced the motor. next trip took back now it needs another motor on both slides. also air cond.

in bedroom doesn't work! On a very hot trip to Fl. New 2018 Jayco back in shop for these repairs for two weeks. I would like to make res.

for the mts in Sept. It is a SHAME to pay for a camper that campingworld keeps more than us. More problems too many to list. IS THERE ANYTHING PEOPLE CAN DO ABOUT THESE LEMON CAMPERS?

From my understanding there is no lemon law in Ga. So sad u retire to put up with this crap.

Camping World - Feeling lonely

Bought new Montana 5th wheel. I have been calling and emailing to get our RV serviced. But no returned calls or any communication. My T.V. don't even work. I have a list of more than 25 items. I even asked them to get me the parts and I will fix myself. Still no calls.

I feel your pain! We are being screwed as we speak!

Way too angry right now but its a lemon lemon lemon and did I mention a lemon? Not even a year old with 2300 miles on a new Freedom Elite and it has been in the shop at least 10 times for crossed wires, non working GFIs, radio replaced 3x, propane tank leaked all of its gases into the air. Now our slide out is broken again and get this! They were vandalized about 2 weeks ago where kids were stealing catalic converters off of the RVs.

Mine was parked outside with all the others and mine was vandalized as well. They made me call my insurance to file the claim. They refused to put it against their insurance! I was forced because we had a non refundable trip scheduled last week and we waited over 6 months to go!

When I picked up my RV and asked the GM if he could at least split my deductible he said no way. It goes on and on! Need to find a RV Lemon Law Lawyer and teach them to stop stealing from customers and treat us poor unlucky people who have had to deal with them! Brand new RV and it has seen the shop more then my driveway!

Thinking about going to the media/news who investigate companies that rip off consumers! Good luck to you as well!

Camping World - 2018 travel trailer needed repairs from get go. Awning failed 1st rainfall and has been a month of runarounds from service department. No return phone calls.

we bought the trailer...so very excited...noticed repairs were needed... made an appointment to return with it two weeks later for repairs. Meanwhile had a camping reservation, rained the 2nd night out and we left automatic awning out as it had a "shock absorber" that was suppose to let water out of awning "automatically"...it failed and the right awning arm was twisted! my husband zip locked it shut and it has been like that for 6 weeks! My husband called the day after we got home from camping trip 6/8 to 6/10...making it 6/11 he called...we dropped the trailer off on 6/13 to have the control panel etc. replaced, repaired, etc. We had a list of 12 things to be addressed, from trim work to the control panel and the awning damage....we picked up the trailer 2 weeks later...awning still not addressed....was informed the parts were never ordered! A guy was out sick...would take 1 1/2 to 2 weeks for parts to come in again...went on a camping weekend that weekend...only to have our inside refrigerator not work...it worked fine on the other 2 camping trips....My husband called last week on 2 different occasions...left voice messages...no call back as of today, 7/16/2018...VERY DISSAPOINTED with the trailer and service department!!! If I could do it again...would not deal with Camping World...WNY

I bought a pull 26ft Coleman trailer with it I bought a extended service camping world is telling me I don't have one even though my paper work has it $2600.00 I have used the trailer 4 times in a year the stove fire comes out where the controller is fridge dose not work with gas water heater dose not work

Camping World - WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY 70 YEARS!!!

All I wanted to do was order a gift card for my sister's birthday. Fortunately I did it well in advance as it took WEEKS for help. Mostly I was just ignored. Finally one employee helped me and we got it resolved but that took weeks. Then I started getting catalogs that I WAS NOT interested in and went on another chat and asked them to stop. First thing I was asked was what KIND of catalog was it? How many kinds of catalogs are there??!! Then I asked to be notified when my address was removed and was told that wasn't possible. Don't do business with this company. It will be nothing but headaches.

From our initial purchase and all contact with Camping World Woodstock GA proved to be extremely frustrating and at best misleading. There Finance Managers are not to be trusted. They dont return calls and if you do get them on the phone beware of what your told. Finished with CW Woodstock. The whole story is to long to post.

I wanted to buy a used motorhome. I was shown one that was not cleaned . It also had a rusted dinkm I asked why is it not cleaned and ready and I was ythat it cost almost 1,000 to prep it. They go over everything The problem was I had to purchase it for them to prep e. The problem is if they find something wrong, like brakes bad, trans bad, I would have to pay to have it fixed. Shouldn't they check it first before putting a price on it and than check it after it is sold Also I went to see another one in Jersey ,it was a 2001, good price but when I opened the door it smelled and had funky *** carpeting. I tried for 30 minutes to get help but not one salesperson came out. Guess they didn't want to lose place in line to a small sale that probably was not going to happen. I was at their Lakewood store and drove 2hours to their other store because I was told it was ready to go. No Salr

Sales team we worked with was quick and painless. Not knowledgeable at all though. Two of the Sales staff we worked with have never camped before. Now we had to have warranty work and so far we aren’t happy. Service advisor quit and we have not had anyone contact us since taking our camper in two weeks ago, after waiting a month for our appointment. Dealer prep was non-existent. Floors were dirty, ball was not tightened on hitch, hot water heater doesn’t work, no handle for our leveling jacks, speaker outside doesn’t work, and the spare wasn’t secured. All this should have been caught during the prep. If we don’t hear from anyone next week we will contact Jayco for help on finding another place to handle our warranty work.
