Camping World in Meridian, Idaho - New 2018 Hideout Broken - In the shop for 8 weeks +

We purchased a new 2018 keystone hideout from camping world. 2 weeks later the water heater went out. We took it back to camping world, they indicated repairs were covered and would take a couple of weeks. It's been a month and they just said the warranty department just submitted the request and could take 8 weeks to get approval for repairs. The RV dealer next door has the part in stock and can get it repaired in a day. If you want to drown in paperwork and waiting, go to camping world. We didn't by a new trailer this summer for it to sit in the shop for 8 weeks. You suck camping world.

Hi, I chatted with you (Leha) yesterday. I had 2 questions, how do I make a complaint and best price on footprint and carpets for Montana 6P. I only had access to my phone yesterday which made the conversation difficult. Unfortunately, I do not have the chat left. I received an answer that I could send a photo on the damaged rod that will hold the big side door. I also got the answer that I could use the Carpet50 code. I asked if there was any difference if I was waiting for Idg Saturday when I had access to the computer, but here I did not get a response without the chat interrupted. Today I enter via the computer, can not login, my email is not registered, but I will receive mail from you! At the same time, I see that the code that I received only lasted yesterday. Camping World in Sherman, Texas - HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Sherman, Tx Camping World Worst experience ever!!! Two months ago we dropped our 2017 Jayco travel trailer off for electrical work. This is the second time the trailer has had electrical problems. With that being said I was called and told the trailer was ready for pick up, and to call 1 hour before arriving, which I did. Upon arrival we realized that someone had DROPPED our travel trailer! No one in the service department was even going to acknowledge that the entire tong of the trailer was torn up. The wheel was shattered, it's holder was mushroomed out, the jack was broke off, the frame bent, the propane bottle metal mount was broke off, and the propane lines underneath were flat. THEY DROPPED MY TRAVEL TRAILER AND TORE IT UP!!! All they wanted to offer us was a $50.00 in store credit, and a couple more months in the shop with them. I am soooo pissed off with this business, and would not recommend Camping World in Sherman Texas to anyone. I feel as though they owe me a new travel trailer, because there is no telling what is wrong on the inside since the outside was in such bad shape. Upon speaking with the General Manager, I realized he was not going to be of any help. When I messaged Camping World they just referred me back to the dealer in Sherman! WOW, they did not even take responsibility for wrecking the travel trailer I’M MAKING PAYMENTS ON!!! No one at the dealer will return my calls. I have told them that I do not want to take possession of this travel trailer, because then it is MY PROBLEM!

All this and all you have done is call (s) ? Why not go spit into the wind instead ?

It would be just as useful.

You must issue a formal written complaint, chock full of details but minus the emotion, and serve it via Certified Mail return receipt requested. You must establish a verifiable timeline of events and remedial attempts.

Well for your information the day of the event I spoke with the “General Manager” in person. He had no resolution for me.

This is a reoccurring situation. Lies to customer over charges And total incompetence in service. They are the worst rv company by far.

We bought a one year old used RV. They "lost" the keys and had to install a new lock. They installed it improperly and we got locked in our travel trailer. I had to take the lock apart to get out and fix it myself. They were supposed to empty the black and grey water tanks, but they were left full! Even after being reminded multiple times they never emptied them. The salesman knew literally NOTHING about RV's. We brought our own financing and the sales manager lied to our bank about the options on the trailer to try and make it meet what they said the value was, including saying it had a TV it didn't have! The "walkthrough" guy stole a part off of another trailer that was in for service right in front of us and said "they'll notice it's missing later and we'll just replace it then" because they did not have it in stock. These guys are crooks! If we hadn't really liked that camper and talked them down to a great deal, we would have never done business there, and will never again! ***

Never purchase anything from Camping World of Syracuse, NY, they lie to get a sale, once there is a sale, forget about asking any questions, forget about any warranty work unless you want to leave your rig there for the season, they when the service is done make sure you check it, we purchased a Montana High Country from then 09/18/17 it was a 2018 took it on a trip to MI and no AC, when we got back 7 days later took it to Camping World told us nothing wrong with it of course it was 40 deg. out that day, I had asked them to check the air flow clean out the ducts because of dirt falling out of them, picked up our rig and was told nothing wrong found nothing, we took it to Maine early July and no AC cool air but not blowing so had a mobile RV mechanic check it out, full of papers in the AC unit its self, ducts full of wood chips, Camping World had done nothing. BUYERS BEWARE FIND ANOTHER DEALER!!!!!

So my fiance' & I went to Camping World of Oakwood to purchase a 2017 Luxury Jayco North Pointe 5th Wheel. after looking at 5th wheel we went in office to talk. Of course sugar was dripping out of the fiance manager Jason McKelvey day of purchase. I hace perfect credit score as well as a trade in. They were ready to do business. So during fiance/purchase process they offer warranties in different tiers. We were told by Jason McKelvey we could change our minds & get any or all warranties removed/cancelled anytime no problem. With in 7 days of purchase I was back in the office to cancel all warranties. Boy let me tell you!! When I told Jason McKelvey I changed my mind on the warranties his demeanor changed! He called all excited, anxious, VERY loud with me. He was telling me I need those warranties because all rv's are made to tear up! I He was doing all this figuring & #'S trying to tell me why I needed to keep the warranties. Some how bullied me into canceling the road side assistance. So then he went into another room to deal with other customers. He made me wait forever before he brought paper work to sign. By then I got my fiance' to come back to the office. I told him what had taken place. When Jason McKelvey came back into the room my fiance" told Jason, "We do not want the warranties." Jason left he room, left us sitting there for ever. Never said bye or anything. He totally ingnored my request that day. Needless to say I'm still fighting with him over this. He gives me a different story every week. I believe nothing he says. I just wonder how many more people are out there like me? I know I'm not the only one. Not to mention the day of delivery we waited over 2 hrs. because they couldn't get the middle leveling jacks to work. They still don't work. Jayco is hopefully going to cover the jacks & labor. Camping World of Oakwood never called once to see how things were going. The minute you sign on the dotted line you're SCREWED!!! Stay away from Camping World OF Oakwood!! They SUCK!!!

I purchased a new slide in truck bed camper and had no help at all loading it as they said there insurance wouldn't cover them to help so me and my young daughter managed to lift and slide it in the bed by hand with no forklift help. then next day we started our vacation and some time into it I noticed the roof flapping in the wind so I pulled over and vinyle roof membrane was ripped and pulling out from under the wood so I duct tapped it down and called them. The manager I talked to immediately said there was no warranty and nothing they could do. What a great start to a vacation after spending that kind of money I tell you. But I didn't let it stop us and a week later when we got back off vacation I took it in and showed them what had happened and got same story there was no warranty and so I walked the guy over and showed him the sticker on back of unit that showed a 2 yr warranty in a 1ft by 1ft sticker with 2inch lettering and they still said they could not help me at the service side. went to sales side and was told they had bought out a company and those were in there inventory and they didn't know how to do the warranty work on them but the manager assured me he would look into it and let me know something soon so I left my number and what a surprise after a week still no word. took camper back up there after that week and service department said they had not heard anything also so I took camper home again without being fixed. been to office talking to other managers and each one of them say the same thing let them find out and they will call. never do I get a call. Now 3 weeks of waiting ive noticed the refrigerator has quit working what next. I have bought several campers from here but will never buy from this company again.

Never ever buy a camper grom camping world. Took 6 months to fix our camper while we stayed in motels. Got it back in march 2018,got to nd in may. When we opened it up all the work csmping world had done fell apart.26,000 worth, got into a repair shop in bismarck nd. They are fixing all the *** work camping world did. Another 7000.00. Now finding out some more bad work they did, looking at another 16,000. Insurance and camping eorld fighting and meanwhile we are stuck in north dakota with no rig.it is now almost august waiting to get it done. They are nasty people to work with.will never buy from camping world again
