Camping World - Bad service

Called today to ask a question about our norcold refrig. I wanted to know where thermister should be on the fins inside refrig in the back. I was told there are no fins in refrigerator Asked him to go out and look at one so he could help me. He wouldn't do it, he said the refrigerators don't have fins. Maybe I was using wrong terminology but he would not go look. Told me to call Good Sam Elite which I did. They were confused as to why I was told to call them. I then called Norcold Our refrigerator won't stay up to temp. Also have been waiting for sink cover since the end of May 2018 when we purchased camper. It was there when we looked at it but not when we picked it up

Camping World in Greenwood, Indiana - The. Worst. Save yourself

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is a joke. They get your hopes up, make it seem like you are getting some amazing deal (when you can find the exact same if not better campers at other dealers for cheaper). Also, they are not transparent AT ALL about their financing process and lie to you. Make you feel like all is well and everything will be great when in fact it is not. The Indy location had me fill out a "Sold" sign, slap it on the camper, and take pictures of my "new baby" and then ignored me for 6 days. Once I emailed corporate I FINALLY got a response back and it was only to tell me that the things that were told to me on a Saturday couldn't have even been true because the banks weren't even open so there's no way WILL CARY OR ZACH MCVICKER could have possibly known the things they were telling me. I am glad this fell apart because at least now I can go somewhere else that won't screw me over or lie to me. Stay away from Camping World Greenwood unless you like this sort of thing. And before corporate gets on here saying they would like to hear more from me regarding this issue, I already emailed csteam@campingworld.com. I got the email address from all the other horrible reviews on here.

Camping World in Jacksonville, Florida - Worst service department/ sales/ customer service

We scheduled on a Tuesday to pick up our new RV on that Friday. On Friday they gave us a walk through to go over everything on how to use before we left with it. We were under the assumption that they made sure everything was running properly before releasing it to us. During the walk through we saw a ceiling light that was full of water so they said it was coming from the satillite wires going into the RV so they caulked it. (though they said they just pressure washed the RV so I guess he was saying we’d be ok as long as water never touched the roof?)I also mentioned the air didn’t seem that cold and they told me if was from the door being opened and closed and everyone going in and out. What do I know, I don’t work on RVs they do. The radio / camera was also inoperable. They said they would order one and put it in when we got back from our trip. ( though it would have been nice to have it for the trip to watch our tow behind and listen to music) I mus note that we told everyone numerous times that we were camping for a week the next day so we wanted everything working properly. This is a 2018 motor coach that was new, not used. It has been setting in the lot for some time so all the big things should have been checked before selling it. They could have kept it to work on while we continued to use the other RV we had that we were trading in. So we went camping the next day out of town. The air conditioner started leaking in two places so we had to lay bowls down to catch it so our floor wouldn’t get all wet and it wasn’t putting old cold air. Good thing we were in the mountains so the temperature wasn’t completely unbearable but I must say if I wanted to camp without an AC I would camped in a tent. I also went to use the stove and one of the gas burners isn’t working. There was a leak in the ceiling fan/ vent above the stove due to a horrible seal job. The black and gray tank didn’t light up full at any time. Even when they were full it registered empty. When you open the cabinet below the sink near the stove there is a huge hole where light comes through and possible critters also. The auto leveling jacks are leaking hydraulic fluid and actually got stuck open so now have to be manually put it down. The motor on the awning stopped working. This isn’t even everything wrong just the major issues. We have a large list of problems that I don’t think should be so large on a brand new unit. Today is one week that we have had the unit. All he problems were within a day or two of getting the RV. When we mentioned it to our salesman he said “ they’ll fix it” but who in their right mind wants to spend all this money on something brand new and not get to use it how it’s suppossed to be used or have to put it in the shop preventing us from using it! I also blame Thor the manufacturer for hurrying and throwing these RVs together. This is a combination of poor workmanship and customer service. I guarantee that any of the people making, selling or repairing these vehicles would expect no less than what we do. We work hard for our money and want to be able to enjoy our time off relaxing not wondering what is next to break or how long it will be in the shop until they fix it. I don’t know if we got a “lemon” or the companies aren’t making sure things are running right. I will not purchase anything else from this dealership or manufacturer. My heart is broken that we put our trust in them and my stress levels have been ridiculous since the day after purchase even during my vacation because of everything not working properly . We have another vacation already scheduled for next month and if they can’t repair some of these things in time and we don’t go camping we will lose our deposit. This has been a frustrating experience and I don’t want to go through this again.

Camping World - Customer and Service Department suck!

We bought a 2018 Coleman Lantern from Camping World in Hamburg, NY and the repairs from the start have been numerous! First the "Control Board" was wired wrong and the panel cracked. Took them a month to get the Warranty ok to fix it...took the trailer camping and the electric awning support arm twisted and broke off after a rain during the night. We were told that one or the other side would go down slightly to let the water run off. We called and left a voice message, no call back. Called again leaving another message, no call back. Finally on the third call someone actually answered in the service department. They will have to put in another claim. Hear nothing for 3 weeks. Call and get the same run around, finally get someone to call back. Oh the guy that was suppose to put the claim in for the warranty was out sick for a couple days...Will put it in...another 2 weeks go by. Call and leave a message, next day ok...parts are in bring the trailer in...how long will this take we ask. should be done in 2 days. We drop it off on a Friday. One week goes by, no call that it is done. Now on the following Thursday, we call and leave a message. Friday (2 weeks later) guy calls and says.."We are waiting for the Warranty Ok and the parts have not come in!" WTF? We were told the Warranty ok came through, the parts are in, will be done in 2 days...you have had my trailer for 2 weeks!!!! I am going to go get my trailer today and if the work is not done...I will take it elsewhere and get the work done and then take them to small claims court! Buyer Beware!!!

Their warranty center has literally not called me in months on my travel trailer repair status. I called at least 6 times in the first 2 weeks and now I can't even get an update on my property from them. It's absolutely unreal. On top of this, I was given a great deal of misinformation when I first purchased the trailer. For the last 2 and a half years I can tell you that every encounter with these people has resulted in more frustration and my own time and money lost. For anyone that is considering a purchase with these crooks, I am here to tell you that with absolute certainty they will tell you exactly what they think you need to hear to buy their product(s) even if it isn't true.

Went to change bearings on my boat trailer and before tech even took wheel off the trailer said it wasn’t the bearings that it was the axle. When I questioned him and explained that I actually have done this work myself on the trailer the tech took off the wheel to find that it was indeed the bearings. I was then told they did not have the parts & would have to wait for them to get the part. I went to pick up the parts to expedite the repair. I got back at 10:20 am with the parts and was told that the work would be done by 12 pm. But I had to wait until 2:30 pm before they were done with the job. It takes tops 30 mins to pack bearings and even though I was told that the tech was diligently working on my trailer I had to wait 4 hours this was stupidity beyond comprehension they have no consideration for the customer. this added 4 hours to an already long 15 hour drive. Definitely think three times before you consider going here for service

They sold me the wrong camper for starters. The financial paperwork was wrong three time during the sale. They charged me $800. Fee to inspect the camper before it left the lot. Two weeks after the sale they recalled the camper in for repairs to the new camper saying it was not ready to roll? Why did I pay them $800. For an inspection fee before it was driven off the lot. The title was not in the paperwork when they sold it. Had to go back to get it to Would weeks later. The financial management accused us of misplacing it and then found it in the folder. I want you guys to know exactly who posted this its elliese thomas I planted a trip with my family for a year have plenty of time to get the service done which I scheduled the service two and a half months ago I told you guys I needed my camper because I was going out of town and you completely ruined my family's vacation you guys don't give a *** about your customers I'm going to make sure I tell everyone what kind of business you guys were on people spend all this money to buy from you and your customer service is crap
