Camping World - Awesome customer service!!

We had such a great experience with Camping World and I wanted to especially thank one of the managers, Rudy Hampton! He made us feel so comfortable and helped us out without being pushy. We will definitely always do business with them from now on!

The pits when it comes to dealing with the man who sales you the extended warranties rude is an understatement when it comes to him of course it takes multiple phone calls to actually get him on the phone he must not know how to return calls. The service department is not any better no help from anybody when you are having issues.

I have had a very bad experience at the Little Rock Ar. Camping World Service.

They won't call you back and just forget about expecting extended warranty service. They will just say, Oh! your extended warranty doesn't cover that. The camper top was replaced twice and now there is upper rear wall separation occurring.

They just told me that Keystone won't fix it even though they haven't asked them. They estimate cost to be $5,000.00.

Camping World - Buyer beware

The RV industry has issues which involves every piece of the chain and includes OEM’s, their suppliers and dealers. Can you find a good unit? Yes; however do not depend on dealers to do the right thing as many will provide poor service after the sale. If you want to own an RV either find someone who is dependable and does excellent work or plan on repairing everything yourself. I chose to go the second route as I have found incompetent “professionals” in many lines of business. The incompetence seems to only be getting worse in most trades. I’ve owned a few RV’s over the years and have always done everything myself; from general maintenance to emergency maintenance and upgrades. I am currently finishing a full 5th wheel leveling system, tanks heaters and suspension true track on our 5th wheel. I am having to fix several items while doing the work; things the factory should have caught and fixed before the unit left the factory floor. The wiring seems to have been completed by someone who really didn’t care as a monkey could have done a better job. The wiring is only the tip of the iceberg as I have found several other items which needed attention. The only advise I can offer is to do your research, don’t allow emotion to overtake you during the buying process and realize an RV is a moving house with additional systems that will need attention at one point or another.

Had similar issues with Garner NC store sales department. Offered a bottom line out the door price and was told they couldn't do the deal.

We left after 4.5 hours. Got a call from the sales person a week later stating they would take our $110,000.00 offer - felt better for 46 minutes, until we received followup call saying they couldn't do the deal at that price. No deal for us.

If I had a good lawyer, we would have owned the unit at the $110,000.00 price. We walked away and will not go back for any sales at Camping World based on the string of similar comments.

Started when I bought 2018 pioneer new last fall.agreed on price and length of loan when I went to pick up kept payment the same but added 3 years to term to pay for extended warranty,when I told them I didn't want warranty was made to feel like I was stupid to not take such a deal, they then told me I could no longer get the payment we agreed on because the interest rate would go up unless I borrowed a certain amount of money I told them I no longer wanted the deal then he called his manager in and I asked do I have to buy the warranty to buy the camper and then he told me no and gave me the original interest rate. Then this spring found out awning lights did not work been trying to get someone to look at it since beginning of June it is now August 12th and they said that they finally ordered parts and I could bring it in but they couldn't even guarantee it could be fixed in 2 weeks I have since decided to fix myself and screw the warranty I have bought boats Motorcycles Cars and this is absolutely without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had totally unprofessional almost downright dishonest in the service department their ad says priority service on new campers while I'm going on two months trying just to get awning lights fixed if that's priority I would like to know what regular service is I would never ever recommend anyone buy a camper from Camping World of Saukville they are horrible!

We bought our new 2018 Mallard right before Memorial Day and were so excited. We have wanted one for so many years. Now we wish we had NOT bought from Camping World ! THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAS HAD OUR CAMPER LONGER THAN WE HAVE ! This has been a nightmare! You think when you buy something brand new that you would be able to enjoy it, not the case . We have had water leaks. Woodwork was ruined, they just can’t seem to get the replacement piece in. I believe you need someone who actually places orders for the parts needed for repairs ! Their lack of attention to strap down the furniture left us with a cracked piece of trim by the couch. Can’t seem to fix that either, lack of materials. The bathroom door slide was bent to fit, someone took the easy way out to repair it. Currently the bedroom slide out is not working properly, it’s been up there now for 2 weeks for repair. To no surprise it’s not fixed ! We have our vacation planned but maybe no camper. We are furious! Remember when they sell you the camper they tell you that you are now a “Gold Elite Member” ? Promise’s that have turned into lies! When you tell a customer it will be ready to go , then keep your word ! I will never recommend Camping World in Perry, Ga to anyone.

Camping World in Summerfield, Florida - Extremely poor workmanship and new paint damage

Details
Took three year old class A to camping World of the Villages for repair of bad seals on front wheels, the bearings were throwing dirty grease all over the wheels. Now ? repaired, it still has the dirty grease all over the wheels and the steering wheel is now out of alignment. It is turned about 30 degrees to the left when driving straight down the road. When turning left, I hear a noise in the right front. It also has new damage to the full body paint. Looks like something fell over against the side of the unit. I have had this motor home three years and it has over six months in the serviced department at Camping World of the villages.

Camping World in Greenwood, Indiana - The Worst RV Company EVER

We bought our RV from Camping World and thought it would be great to get things fixed at Camping World. They ripped us off for over $12,000 for repairs that were not made and some that were done totally wrong. After keeping our RV for over a month, acted like we rushed them to fix it. I went to my credit card company and requested 1/2 of my money back from the $12,000 we paid back and sent pictures, and a very detailed report of what happened, with dates and times and people's names. I even went in and sat down with the service manager that reminded me of a polished used car salesman. I am so disappointed with Camping World and how they took advantage of us as new RV owners. I don't know how they are still in business except that they prey on new RV buyers who don't know about them. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and intend to post everywhere I can on social media and everyone I talk to about Camping World. They are a TOTAL ripoff in every way shape and form.

Camping World - Avoid CW Albuquerque

Details
A slide out motor they installed failed after 11 months. It was under a 1 year warranty. They dragged their feet and let 1 month go by. Whoops, warranty has expired, sorry. We called them ,including the manager several times. We have spent lots of money there, but will never go back.

They sell junk new campers and the mechanics never return phone calls ever they throw whatever part on as a bandaid and make it really difficult to get it fixed they wont accommodate you at all
