Camping World - COMPLAINT

I have been a member with Camping World for over 19 years. I was recently treated very badly by Chris Enriquez (retail product specialist) in Georgetown, Ky. store. On March 31, 2018 I drove to Georgetown to order a slide topper for my camper. I talked to Chris and he gave me a price. I told him to order it and let me know when it came in so I could have it installed. On April 30, I called to see if the topper had came in. I left a message for John Black to call me about this. Did not hear from him. On May 3, I called again and left a message for John Black again. Did not hear back again. On May 17, called again told the lady that answed I did not went to leave a message I need to talk to a person about this. She transferred me to a woman named Hope. She took my information and my number, said she would call me back. This did not Happen. On June 11, I drove to Georgetown again. I talked to Jeffery Johnson ( parts & accessories manager) about my order. He check and said my order was in. We set up an appointment foe July 5, to have it installed. July 5, I arrived early to have my slide topper Installed. I wanted to see the parts to make sure it was right. I was told I would I had to wait for Chris Eriquez to come in. Another employer ask if he could help me. I told him I was waiting to see the parts, his name was Donald Jewel. Donald got some of the parts and showed them to me. I asked were the rest of the parts wear and he told me slide topper hardware and the vinyl roe the topper was all they had. Donald went to Chris Enriquez to ask about the other parts. Then Donald called me over to the counter to talk to Chris. Chris said I only ordered those parts. I told Chris that I ordered the hole thing. at that time Chris put his hand up and told me " SHUT YOUR MOUTH< I DON'TWENT TO HEAR YOUR MOUTH", and told me to "GO AWAY". At this time Donald saw how mad I was getting, he took me by the arm and lead me away. By that time I was so mad it was a good Donald was there. Donald took me to the front counter and told Jeffrey Johnson (parts & accessories manger) what had happened. Jeffrey did not seam to concerned about this. All he had to say to me was he would talk to Chris. I ask Jeffrey if all the parts were there for my slide topper. He check and said they were not. I told Jeffrey if this is the best Camping World could do I don't need it. I hooked up my camper and took it home. I would not think you would want your employers to talk to a customer that way. Camping World - Horrible service department

We bought a 2017 Thor motor home and we have had horrible service,microwave flashes all the time and when we took it in they told us to wait until it dies...generator didn’t work...outside doors do not shut like they should have had so many problems trying to get the service department to fix anything...looking for a new motor home and it will not be buying from camping world...

Worst experience I have ever had with anything in my life , do not purchase an rv from them , if you need any service on your unit you will be sorry you bought it there , buying will be a good experience, service is nothing like I have ever seen in my lifetime , I usually take reviews with a grain of salt !!! Listen to this one !!!! Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else !!!!

Camping World - Worst place ever.

Got there early to pick up unit. Had to wait another 2 hours to be waited on. Found out they had damage unit. They said they would schedule to get it fixed. When money was discussed they said I was getting a deal. Lied after they add everything in and after deposit taken off it was more than original price. I still haven’t been able to figure that out. Worst to come. This is a 2019. Ok brand new. Drove it home. Had problems. Took back. Took all afternoon waiting to get it fixed. Ok didn’t know they took a fuse out to fix one problem only to leave me with another I had to fix while on vacation getting a fuse put in where they had removed. Had wiring fall off, windows opening, screens fall out, numerous roof leaks, electrical problem where bed came up and down with no one around decals coming off sides and this is just a partial list. Had a list of 33 thing that was wrong. They have had the unit for 2 months now and the answers I get “ waiting on parts “. This is a new unit how can parts be hard to get. In two months they could have built a new unit. This unit is definitely a lemon. Poor workmanship I have ever seen. Would not and will not ever recommend this company to anyone

Camping World in Roanoke, Virginia - Dont buy a new rv here

Our new camper had some problems on our first trip camping so we took it back to Camping World of Roanoke to get the problems fixed since it was new. So we waited and waited for someone to call us to pick up our camper but no one called after a month.we called and asked what was taking so long with or camper and was told that the person that handled the warranty was on vacation and would be back next week so we went over to the store and asked in person thinking this might help but was told that the parts didnt come in yet we ask whats the problem was this time and was introduce to the warranty person Lisa so after listening to her talk about a different camper and not ours we realize the problem was this woman .Please helps us unhappy Campers

Camping World in Deforest, Wisconsin - Additional costs not told about

Where do I start. After spending an entire afternoon in the sales guys office, we finally agreed on a price for our camper that included the hitch and back up camera. We went down a week later to get our camper and do the walk thru, etc then sat down with the paper dude to get everything taken care of. We did pay for the spray and tire extras (which I think is probably a waste now) but they added on over $7500 more worth of things we have NO idea what they are. Plus, they never sent us home with the temp. plates, so we have been trying to get those. Plus, like another guy mentioned, they keeps trying to pull banks for us to get a loan. I now have over 3 hard pulls on my credit report. I told them NOT to include me because my ex husband screwed me over on a loan we had out over 10 years ago, that I could not be on the loan, but because WI is a martial property state, they had to put me on. 3 banks later and no loan yet and 3 hits on my credit report. I am beginning to wish I never walked into this dealership. A camper that we thought that was going to be under $40,000 turned out to be over $50,000!!! Not a happy camper at all!!!!!!!!!!! ***

Why Camping World Is Changing Logo

Camping World should not change its logo. The new one is boring compared to the old one that told a story. Bad choice and lazy marketing.

Camping World - No help web site

We are going from north to south USA. Need a trailer life directory. No map on site showing all locations. We need one first day so we can find a park (that also shows rates). Phone app is useless as it doesn’t show me where the parks are in relation to where I am.

We had such a great experience with Camping World and I wanted to especially thank one of the managers, Rudy Hampton! He made us feel so comfortable and helped us out without being pushy. We will definitely always do business with them from now on!

The pits when it comes to dealing with the man who sales you the extended warranties rude is an understatement when it comes to him of course it takes multiple phone calls to actually get him on the phone he must not know how to return calls. The service department is not any better no help from anybody when you are having issues.

I have had a very bad experience at the Little Rock Ar. Camping World Service.

They won't call you back and just forget about expecting extended warranty service. They will just say, Oh! your extended warranty doesn't cover that. The camper top was replaced twice and now there is upper rear wall separation occurring.

They just told me that Keystone won't fix it even though they haven't asked them. They estimate cost to be $5,000.00.
