Took new 5th wheel Cougar 28sgs in to have water leak fixed, service did not fix. Had to pay an independent service technician $160 to fix. Camping World did not even look at it.

Camping World did not fix and charged the manufacturer for warranty work that was not performed. They had the 5th wheel for 3 weeks. The independent rv technician showed me that the factory sealing was still in place and had not been disturbed. He fixed the broken elbow and the window seals that were causing the water leaks. Would never again take my 5th wheel to camping world and would never buy anything from them. It seems to me that they want your expensive purchase to fail so they can sell you another one when it dry rots out from under you. Poor business practices as far as I’m concerned.

Went in and put. deal together with bobby.manager.deal included new hitch. Go in to sign papers and bobby says must finance to get new hitch.gave natsty old hitch.screw him. Found new hitch on another camper.then traded in used jayco never looked at till traded.jeremy cried about condition. Who screwed who?

Camping World in Richmond, Indiana - Bad Service

My wife and I purchased a 2019 heartland pioneer Rg26 From Camping World Richmond Indiana. On Wednesday the 22nd We went camping that Saturday for the first time only owning the camper 3 days to find a large water leak. LED light under awning not working a rip in the kitchen screen along with a few other things that need fixed. Unhappy we emailed our salesman Jeff Cook who never responded to us. Service Manger Trent reassured us that everything will be fixed. They came picked up our NEW camper Monday and said all the leaks are repaired and they pressure tested the unit. Delivered it back to us for us to find a large gap in the rear door of this toy hauler. And they removed our power cord so we can not connect to a power box. Once again A HUGE FAIL with the service. We want to return this POS for full refund or a collateral replacement. At this point we will have to seek legal help in this matter. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM Very unsatifed customer

Well it seems they are ripping people off all over the US. Why are this crooks still in business?

My problem is with Camper World in New Braunfels, Texas and they have so many bad reviews regarding the same problems over and over.

We all need to get together and put them out of business or at least make them wish they were out of business. Gayle Lowe

Camping World - Worst experience of our life!

We bought a2018 37ft Forest River Hemisphere 5th Wheel for our retirement from Camping World in Wentzville Mo. We had 2 pages of things that would not work from wrong size batteries, landing gear would not go up & down, living room Slideout would not go in, scratches on icebox, big scratches on kitchen floor from them putting the icebox in, hot water heater would not work, water pump inside would not work, exhaust fan used once & then it would not work, all wiring to the batteries all hanging down & some not connected just to name a few. Shane, shop manager & Steve Baker store manager will not call you back either. Everyone is nice when you come in to buy an RV, but once you buy it & take it, they do not help you with anything! We bought on Jan. 29, 2018 & this is August 2018 & still have not heard from them. No compensation for scratches to icebox or the scratches in the kitchen floor. Poor service. Plus we cancelled our extended warranty through them & they kept like $300.00 of our money. Will not recommend Camping World to anyone.

Camping World in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - Dirty with several broken items

We purchased our 2018 Forest River Georgetown XL 377TS from Camping World, Myrtle Beach South Carolina. First off, all Camping Worlds are owned by same owner, they would not work with us to ship RV to Grand Island NY, we had to drive the 14 hours to pick up. We arrive at Camping World in Myrtle Beach for our 11:45 am walk through, we did not leave until 5:30 pm. One of the slowest processes i have ever experienced. I have a 3 year old, which even makes it more difficult. Slower than molasses... The 2018 Georgetown XL 377 TS, Disgusting inside, we spent all this money for a brand new RV and they didn't even detail it. Inside was horrible. Cushions had marks and stains. Dust and drill shavings in cabinets. Rugs dirty, floors dirty with marks, list goes on and on.... Lets talk about the broken items that we know of, only had the RV for 5 days now. - Light bar outside - Broken- does not illuminate - Bathroom sink- Fitting underneath not even connected or correct size. - LG Fridge- Freezer does not work. - Shade switches reversed. - Screen door does not stay shut and I am sure there is more to come. You call camping World not there problem anymore. They just care about there monthly sales numbers to get the RV out the door. Would not recommend....

We took our 2018 Rockwood that was purchased from Camping World, Myrtle Beach, SC to the service dept on June 6, 2018 after returning from a month long trip. The refrig unit did not cool, the power panel did not work, the toilet seal needed replacing and the striker on...

They have had my Rockwood for nearly 3 months of summer at this point. I will be canceling and calling corporate on this issue.

Camping World - New camper, no brakes

Hello fellow campers, just one more review of the terrible service you can expect from Camping World. Took my 2017 Wolf Pup rv. that I purchased last March from Camping World of Robertsdale Alabama in for service. After my last trip last year to Indianapolis, stopped at KOA Nashville North, by the way, very nice park. Noticed upon hooking up for final leg home, brake-away switch pin lying on the ground. I replaced the pin into the switch and came on home. When unhooking I noticed excessive brake dust on passenger side wheel. Instructed my service writer Ashley to give unit a complete check, specifically the brake system. Ashley called a couple weeks later, unit is ready, asked if they found anything amiss with the brakes, was told no issues found. Technician pulled rv around their lot, even took it out on the road. Got home, didn't feel comfortable about conversation, so took it upon myself to replace breakaway switch. Wiring to switch was melted into positive battery cable feeding rv. So now I totally distrust anything I was told. Pulled the wheel and found no lining left on the brake shoe, wiring melted in two both wheels same shape. Called back to complain and was told the warranty had run out, now it was my problem. This was in their shop, under warranty when told no problem. They have lied to me from the start, and caused me out of pocket expense to sidestep responsibility. Please DO NOT patronize this company. Joseph Simms @ kyleandjoe@bellsouth.net.

I’m boycotting NASCAR truck series until they get rid of Camping Flop as there sponsors. I’ve own about 5 RV’s in the past 15 years. Camping World is by far the worst dealer I’ve ever dealt with. No more.
