Camping World in Henderson, Nevada - Really pissed off...

Purchased a new travel trailer...so many things in need of repair....4 months later still not repaired. The unit has been back 3 times and nothing was addressed...today they are picking it up again.....but i am sure it will be in the same condition....they absolutly lie to you. I guess we will need a lawyer. The people are not very compassinate to your feeling. We are so sorry we purchased this peice of junk from these idiots....

Camping World in Akron, Ohio - Unhappy camper

By the recommendation of our neighbor he introduced us to a salesman at Camping World Akron. Explaining we had been several places with no luck looking for a 5th wheel toy hauler to live in and travel. We really liked what he showed us but there was only one toy hauler. We ended up with a 2013 Columbus Palimino 33ft. Later finding out it was 37' 4".Not a toy hauler but fit in our budget. He assured us that the entire thing would be gone over to make sure everything worked, nothing leaves the lot until it's thoroughly examined. It was still early spring and snowed a couple times after we got it home so we didn't camp in it for a while. Not being familiar with any RV in the past we hoped they would show us how to do the maintenance. They just said the paperwork was in the drawer that explains everything. The love seat was ripped by previous owner and they promised to remove it and didn't. We had to have family come and remove and dispose of it. We started camping in June and have discovered the air conditioner wasn't working in the living quarter so we only ran the one in the bedroom. I made several attempts to contact the salesman by his cell phone and through the Camping World phone line I left messages without returns calls. His reason was he didn't get the message. One of the calls I tried to reach him because camping next to us a couple wanted a bigger RV than they had. They came back the next week with a new camper they purchased at another dealership. We also discovered the mattress was very soiled we had to replace it, the floor in the bedroom slide was falling out and there was difficulty closing it had to replace it. Living space linolium floor has pulled away and looks horrible. Replaced air conditioner the other one is working very poorly. It's going to need replaced as well. When asked what we paid it was $35,448.29 we were told that was way to much by a couple dealerships , it was explained to us trade in for Camping World will give us $14,000.00 in Kissimmee Fla. Does anyone else see a problem here? I will be sharing this to protect potential buyers.

I received a call today from corporate office and he is looking in to it. He will be looking in to it and reach out to the Akron Ohio Camping World.

I usually get a name and I didn't this time I'd like a call back from him on the status. I also want to add to the issues with the camper.

The slide out on the bed is totally falling out. We reinforced it once but it's worse than we thought

Camping World - Worst Service Department - McGeorge in Ashland, VA

We took our RV into McGeorge in Ashland, VA in May to have 3 of the side panels repaired. We were told in early July that one of the new doors had come in damaged from the manufacturer and one was missing so they would need to reorder. We were then told in August that the body shop could just repair the damaged door that was received. In September we were told that they were ordering two new doors from the manufacturer and it would be another month before the repairs were completed. We were not able to use our RV all summer and now it looks like we won't be able to use it for our fall vacation which was planned for early October. Our insurance company paid McGeorge in June for the repairs! We've left 3 messages for the General Manager and she has not returned any of our phone calls. We've left 2 messages for the Service Manager and he has not returned any of our phone calls. We've left numerous messages with the Service Representative and never get a return phone call. I emailed Camping World's Complaint Department and did not receive any response. At this point, I have zero confidence in McGeorge's ability to complete this repair. We will never take our RV here for service again.

Camping World in Ashland, Virginia - Most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with.

I took my Jeep Liberty to Camping World for an estimate to have a baseplate installed and the taillights wired as a tow vehicle. After a week I received a call telling me it would cost "A little over $5,000." I explained I did not need or want a tow bar or the aux braking system; I just needed the wiring loom and a baseplate installed. They promised to call back with a revised estimate. More than a week went by with no return call. I ordered the baseplate and wiring kit from _______ for just under $600. The lighting kit installed in less than an hour, and the baseplate installed in less than three. Even if I value my time at $100 an hour, that's $1,000 invested against their $5,000+ estimate. It's difficult to believe that they not only are charging rip-off pricing, but can't even be bothered to return promised phone calls. Subsequent calls to the Service Manager to bring this to his attention went unreturned as well. I've never seen a company that care so absolutely little about their customers and their own reputation.

It's now a month later, and I still don't have the promised call-back. I'm beginning to think that they aren't ever going to call. Screw these idiots.

Details
Great and all smile until papers signed. Was verbally told they would deliver and set up. No set up only delivery. First lie. Told them it was very messy and nasty. Said they could do it anyway. They got stuck. Then THEY DAMAGED IT and now are arguing about coming to fix it. The finance guy was clueless on term changes. Just expected me to sign without looking or asking. Stay away!

Camping World - How not to buy a camper

No natter what you do get all your quots and conversations in writing or it will come back to bite you. Hard... I brought a 2019 Rockwood Mini Lite from Myrtle Beach Camping World I started to have problums from the start, he said she said kind of crap that you would not expect from self proclimend Worlds lLargest dealer. In the end all I can say ( that my fathet told me buyer be ware) is that protect yourself as a buyer. But on the bright side I can say that Whitney Lrstetlr(GM) did listen to my concerns and did make things right to the best of her abilities. Wold I buy from Myrtle Beach Camping World again? I cant say for sure . more than likly yes. I will say their service department dose try hard. But rember you and you alone are are your best advocate. Good Camping.

Had a service appointment for the slides not working on a 2012 travel trailer. I had already pinpointed the problem down to the pump/motor. 8 days later they finally looked at it and called me on the ninth day to tell me I NEEDED a new motor/hydraulic pump. $1,500. plus freight to replace the hydraulic pump (pump $1,000 and labor $500). I thought no way! Took it home and to make a long story short, I unscrewed 2 screws pulling the assembly and manually turned the motor. No leaks, no jams. I thought maybe its the solenoid. Ordered a solenoid online and received it two days later. Probably spent a toal of an hour of my novice time on removing and installing everything. IT WORKS FINE!!!! CW wanted $1,500 plus freight for what amounted to a $19 solenoid and under an hour of my novice time. ALL WORKS FINE! Crooks!

I read the reviews before purchasing my 2018 travel trailer on 06/04/18, I thought to myself no way they can be that bad, people are being "dramatic", well shame on me, I have had nothing but problems with this camper and as of today there was a lead from the roof of one of the sliders last me that soaked the inside of my camper, I have left several message with not a single return call even talking the sales lady first that sold us the camper, who put us through to their god awful service dept. thinking of just dropping it back in their lot and taking them to court for selling me a 30,000 camper with more problems than I can speak of and they dont stand behind commitment!!! RUUUNNNNNN

With all these mad customers on line why would you ever darken there door. No surprises here.

They do not care about repeat customers. Just cheat the one that here buy. Just stay away duh they only care about the sale service is bad at all of them.

Wish up shoppers a business this bad cannt last. They destroy them self
