Do Not Purchase from Camping World

My Family decided to purchase a new Travel Trailer and it was a big decision for us. We did some research and initially weren't scared off by the bad reviews of Camping World. We decided to purchase a Coleman 3015bh and all the warranties that came with it. We used it for one season and traveled. The unit had issues. I brought it in for service and scheduled well ahead of time. Of all the issues none were really addressed the others I was told weren't covered under warranty. I complained... So they said leave it here until the Manufacturers Warranty Expires and We will "Try and Get it Covered under Good Sam Insurance." SCAM. Asked for refund of warranty. Waited 2+ months. Filed Complaint with BBB and still unresolved. Unit is 2 years old. We don't beat it up. Poor Quality. Poor Service. We were lied to. I asked them to back up their product and fix the issues. If someone pays 30k+ for something it shouldn't start falling apart within the first year? Awning,Doors falling out of ceiling, electrical problems, jacks, roof leaks, exterior fenders blowing apart on thruway, tires don't last 5k, glue joints leaking on tank valves, microwave falling out, slides jump all over, outdoor kitchen slide screws just falling out everywhere. Ran into the Sales Woman who is no longer an employee and she stated. "I clubbed you on that deal" Lol. Those things are junk and they are made by a bunch of *** Heads in Mexico." Really unhappy with my purchase and still owe 27k. Might last another season not sure?

You can not find any thing to complain about at Georgetown Ky Camping World Employees stayed after store closed just to let me in and installed 2 batteries for my generator in the parking lot. John Michael and his manager did this 9/26/2018

Camping World in Roseville, California - New a Dealer who is Honest

We bought a new 2019 Thor Fourwinds 31Y- 8/25/18. Dealer said was Solar was included on the motorhome, yeah right everything but the solar panel on roof. Warranty - Got home reviewed the packet, starting filling out the warranty, turned the page over and surprise - the dealer was also to fill out the warranty. The fours hours we sat in front of lady doing the final paper work you would have thought both parties could have filled it out and mailed it to Thor at that time. But NO - Now they want me to drive 150 miles to Roseville to have them sign the warranty. For 2 of the hours all the lady doing the paper work pushed and pushed for us to extended warranty, some stupid tire blowout system and a protective cover for outside and inside the couch. Drove it home, checked it, out moved the slider out, ran water in the sinks - Guess what - water all over the floor When the slider was out the hose from the sink to the gray water was located in such a manner that in broke from fittings. Camping World said Well I've seen that happen a lot. Bring it back and we will repair it. Yeah right 2 hour drive for the to glue in back together. If they knew it happened before why didn't they take the panel off to see the connection? Now I going to see what Thor has to say. I will never, never do business with Camping World again. If I treated my customers with lies I wouldn't have any

Camping World in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota - Service cant be beat!

We are traveling on I29 south and our drivers side mirror came loose. This is Saturday afternoon and almost impossible to get service. I called Camping World and a very pleasant woman answered the phone. When she heard our dilemma, she found a technician who was still in the store even though tbe Service Dept. was closed. They told us to cone in as soon as we could. The young man came out immediately, fixed the mirror at no charge, and sent us on our way. You just dont get this kind of customer care very often! We are extremely impressed and delighted! Would recommend this place to everyo e!

That wasn't camping world who fixed it, that was a good person who happens to work at a camping world who fixed it on his own time. Camping world wouldn't have done that.

I agree with some of the other posts that after the sale they forget all about you. Harrisburg Camping World sold us a Thor 27a which in the first trip we took both slides leaked the USB ports didn’t work and you couldn’t even keep it in the road. They said it would take 3 months to fix. We also got sucked in to buy the paint and fabric package which they never did. We waited 2 extra days to have done. That most definitely is fraud. We questioned it after a few months an called them an they said all we never got billed for it so I guess we didn’t do it. So we took it to McGoerge in va and they did it. If we wouldn’t have questioned it we paid 4 grand to them for nothing. Great for them. After a few month we traded it for a Winniebago which is great. But same problems again a few small warranty issue and Harrisburg says it could take up to 28 days to fix. I could do it myself in about 2 hours. This place shop especially is very poorly managed and don’t care about their customers that buy their units there. They are rude and I suggest go somewhere else for a camper. Wish I would have went back to RV Wholesalers like we did the first time when we bought our travel travel. He paid for a few items out of his pocket the warranty wouldn’t cover. Stay Away From Harrisburg Camping World!!!!!

East Ridge, TN. The sales people were quick to jump on a sale and show us what we were wanting to look at. However, the customer service after sale was horrendous. We waited 5 hours just to complete purchase and still had to come back and pick it up while waiting another 2.5 hours. I bought a car for 3x the money in 1 hour. Just disappointed

Wished I had checked the reviews before I bought my camper from them. These people and this company really screw people over.

They gave me a 2 minute walk around when I picked up my camper.

That was after waiting 2 days for them to set up my ford explorer to pull the camper which turned out to be over rated for a explorer; even though they told me that it was rated to pull that much. This company should be shut completely down.

Fleetwood paid them to repair a problem that I paid them to do that failed. I was told I had a 12 month warranty from CampingWorld, the repair they did lasted less than 45 days and failed. They told me to just bring the rv back in within the 12 month time period and they would fix it.

CUSTOMER SERVICE DESERVES A NEGATIVE. Our RV has been in service since August 8th for tons of minor things. After repeatedly calling Kyle Bovee the service manager with no return phone calls and then Tom the General Manager over Camping World of Lubbock again with no return call we were told to go pick it up last week. We went to get it and the majority of the service items were not completed. We were told prior to pick up that our service guy and Kyle Bovee had went over it to ensure everything was done. So once again we left the RV. I have since followed up and left messages for Kyle Bovee, and Tom and a regional manager Scott Stonehill. No big surprise here but no one has called me back. I have texted my service guy that the repairs must be completed by Oct 1st for an upcoming trip so we shall see if that works but I am doubtful. If you have anywhere else to purchase or get service on your RV from I would do it!!!! CAMPING WORLD only cares about the sale warranty work is a joke. The guy doing the warranty work told me they only brought it into the shop 4 days before we got there to pick it up and told him it had to be ready so he was unable to complete it or do professional work!!!
