I had a pleasant experience with the service and parts department. They got the motorhome in quickly and fixed its problem. Billy Repaired the leak and fix the generator also replaced the battery. I had another camping repair shop try and fix the leak, but whatever they did, didn’t address the issue. Thank you Billy and Christene

Misleading statements

My husband purchased a 1999 alumascape camper ( used, of course) and was assured by the salesperson that everything was in good working order. Hurriedly he barely showed my husband the basics. So my husband brought the camper home ( 2 hours away) And found out the fridge doesn't work, there is bad water damage in a corner, and the water was split, spewing water everywhere as my husband tried to fill it. Ugh! Come to find out the salesman outright lied and said it had been inspected when it hadn't been at all. One of the people in the office said that they " didn't have tko." but they would refund our money if my husband brought it back today......another 2 hr drive and guess what? Nobody was there to sign a refund check. So we have to go back tomorrow to get our money. I think they are being very fissy about the whole thing, true, thrre is no lemon law as regards campers- there are legal steps available to the victims of those dealers who purposely lie to sell a camper. Won't be going to any camping world again.

Horrible Customer Service In Finance Department

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The finance department has been a nightmare to deal with. We bought a camper with them in April of 2018. In July we decided to cancel an extra warranty policy. That policy was cancelled but we were never reimbursed the thousands of dollars we paid. Now months later, after speaking with the department on a monthly basis they sent the check covering half of what the policy was, which was supposed to be cancelled back in July, to the wrong address when it should’ve been sent to the lien holder. They have new management in the finance department almost every time I have spoken to them. No one knows who messed up where and the last person I spoke to decided I had an unnecessary attitude after all the trouble I’ve gone through trying to iron this out. Please save yourself the trouble and never use this establishment.

Service Department Reps should all be fired

I have had my camper in twice for service. Both times they completed about half of the jobs on the repair list. They then want you to call and schedule an appointment but never answer emails or return calls. I will never ever buy another camper from this company and pity all who do.

Brought trailer in for jack problems told them i needed it back by the 10th of may,,haha just got it back last Thursday, general manager lied to me also the sevice manager this is one time i cant wait for my warranty to expire it will by up end of june there are other problems with it right now but i REFUSE to go back i will glady pay out of pocket to get it fixed within a reasonable amount of time CAMPING WORLD SAUKVILLE SUCKS .if the company realy reads these posts saukville knows my name mark plain

Bought a camper from the one in Shreveport Louisiana had it for one month used it one time found the water tank leaking the slide jumps in and out took it to the to get fixed sit in there yard for two months had a message it was ready drove two hours to get it it was not fixed the tank still had holes and slide need new rollers general manger did not return the phone calls after another 2 weeks went back to get it the under belly was not installed correctly general manger said hook it up and get off the property with it because I called him sorry for not wanting to fix it like it should be. Called camping world headquarters they said someone will be in touch still no world from them

We had a leak in the roof the camper is only 4 years old. First we were told they did not have the parts,I called the shasta dealer and they had the parts just a different color which was fine. They spoke to someone there and said they would supply the parts,We waited a month and never heard from camping world, when we called they said we would be given an estimate It was a little over 2000.00 dollars, about a month after that they spoke to my husband said it was worse and it would be over 6000 dollars, we gave the ok to fix it. The major problem is that it you would think they would have enough sense to keep it covered it sat there uncovered for over 3 months only to get worse

No surprise with your problem. To much work and probably poor training if any.

A lot of promises and very little honest results.

To many folks here in Colorado have expressed similar issues and in some cases the same exact issues. Steer clear from them, although RV repair facilities in general DO NOT have good reputations.

Try to buy a A frame Camper on a trade in

They had a few A-frame campers available on May 21. I pick out mine 4 days ago and did the deal. While I showed the sales person the one I wanted he began to write down the stock number of the one I did not want because they were trying to sell me the cheaper one with out me knowing it. So when it was time to pick up I seen the camper and it was not the one I picked and of course they denied everything and so they did not make a sale and told me I had to pay 2,000.00 more if I wanted that camper. Maybe if they would of been honest in the first place on there pricing maybe I would of considered but to spend 3 hours of my time there thinking that I was getting the camper I picked out and even bringing my wife there 2 days later to confirm that is what she was happy with they well knew what camper I was interested in

Lost the Farm... Now Living in a Tent!

I maintain in excess of 113+ eMail communications with CW and CWH. This DOES NOT INCLUDE countless telephone calls and texts over a 9-12 month period of time. I purchased an RV in 08/16, all cash, everything I've ever had or will have. Their blatant disregard for public safety, negligible and unethical business practices had forced me to sell the RV taking a $35k hit in less than one year post delivery. Suffice it to say, I now reside under my InstaTent and on the constant move. This RV represented my Retirement and a roof over my head... They ripped that out from underneath me prior to rolling off their lot. Too much documented evidence to present here, albeit I comprehend in todays' day and age the word "Trust" has no meaning whatsoever, in any regard! My life, what I ever knew it to be, nor ever again will be anything more than another homeless person, wandering aimless in the streets, alone! So, here's a BIG shout out to Lemonis... Follow through with what you've committed to and make that date with The RV Show USA, and let's talk Prophecy, shall we???

There's a good reason why there's a 2 year warranty on their coaches. Our Jayco spent 9 months total in for service with *** poor repairs. They denied the problems. They didn't exercise generator when they had it so long, they had to winterize it they had it so long, of course we had to pay for that.

Also found out that Camping World had billed my insurance company for a fiberglass roof which costs thousands of dollars more than a rubber roof. So they pocketed maybe $5,000 to $10,000 on the switch.

I had to have a new fiberglass roof put on my 2012 RV because a limb fell through it. Camping World agreed to do it. Said it would take about 2 months. 4 months later they called and said that they could install a rubber roof quicker if I agreed to a rubber roof. So I agreed because I wanted my RV back. Several months later they notified me that it was ready. And I stupidly assumed that it was ready to go, got in and left. As soon as I got home I realized that they had wrecked the back end. Owned for 6 years with zero body damage, left at Camping World and wrecked. When I called the manager Roy Crutchfield he agreed that it should not have been done and that they would fix it immediately and get it back to me, since I had not had the use of it for about 6 months. They guaranteed me that it was about 5 actual days of work, but they would have it done within 2 weeks. I took it in January 15, 2019 and have heard nothing but excuses for 10 weeks. I went to pick it up today and they had repaired half of the damage that they had done. When I pointed it out, the service guy said I would have to take it up with the service manager next week. Then I saw that I was missing a chrome cap and a lug nut. I guess they needed it on somebody else's unit. Then I got inside and both the drivers seat and passenger seat looked like they had been scratched with a wire brush. I guess I should have learned my lesson the first time I took it in.

They lied and cheated us There service sucks There management will not talk to you there warranty isn’t worth paper it is wrote on. They cheated us out of a lot of money watch your paperwork if you go there but don’t I hate to see anybody get cheated.
