Camping World in Katy, Texas - Nightmare in Camper ***

We called three days prior to taking our RV in for a trade-in we were told that the garage in the toy hauler would fit our side by side for the measurements we send 10 we were told that we were getting a certain trailer with a certain bedroom they send us a virtual tour for it we spent three days cleaning our trailer out having it cleaned washed and waxed . We went in to traded in the toy hauler would not fit our side-by-side in it The bedroom was not the same as the one that we were told we were getting it was a completely different trailer and they didn’t have that same one in the year that we wanted they had it in a 2019 which was significantly higher and they would not negotiate they told us they would work it out with us we spent several hours there trying to make everything work they would not budge on price they would not budge and helping for the inconvenience we weren’t getting the trailer we wanted we were getting the bedroom we wanted the garage was useless and that we were still trying to make a deal with them for something they were unapologetic they were rude and they refused to help The bedroom was not the same as the one that we were told we were getting it was a completely different trailer and they didn’t have that same one in the year that we wanted they had it in a 2019 which was significantly higher and they would not negotiate they told us they would work it out with us we spent several hours there trying to make everything work they would not budge on price they would not budge in helping for the inconvenience we were getting the trailer we wanted we were getting the bedroom we wanted the garage was useless we were still trying to make a deal with them for something they were unapologetic they were rude and they refused to help they were sure glad to take on $500 deposit fee to hold the camper but they didn’t hold up to their end of the bargain go somewhere else anywhere else but camping world in Katy Texas

If you plan to do business with these say anything true or not to get the sale salesmen, be sure to record all your conversations. Worst of the worst the nice salesman we started working with had to leave for a death in the family. When we went back both and told them we are here because of him, the new salesman and the sales manager assured us that he would get credit for the sale. Few weeks after we completed the. Purchase the original salesman called to see if we were still interested we explained what had happened and he said this wasn’t the only sale he was cut out of. You will also be put on God only knows how many mailing lists, that amounted to 1-2 a day and weeks to figure out how to unsubscribe from all of them. Only time I go in to a camping world now is they happen to send a Sam as cash type coupon and won’t spen a penny more than it is for

Camping world did not payoff on my trade in from September and now I’m getting late fees and bad credit on loan on trade in that should have been paid off two months ago!!

Took our hard earned savings to buy used Winnebago to start enjoy some camping. should have listened to other RV dealers when they told us how bad camping world of Harrisburg was. Bought a Winnebago was told check engine light would be fixed before we took it and they would put on a new awning. Went to pick up, check engine light was off was told all it needed was oil change. Awning was not in they had ordered wrong size. They would mail it to us. After a month I called about awning , was told they made a mistake when they ordered it ., that it was mailed to them instead of us. Lori stated I don't think they will let me mail it out to you, because of cost of mailing it. I would have to come and get it. Explained to Lori it was almost a 2 hour drive for us. She then called back and said she guessed she was allowed to mail it out. We then got to talking and she agreed to keep it there and when we came in for our 3 month check they would put it on for free because that is what was suppose to have been done in first place. On our first trip with motor home, we were traveling done highway and hub cap went flying off and did some minor damage. we were told when they got motor home inspected before handing over to us, they did not put hub cap on properly . We were told camping world would not cover this. Also on our very first trip engine light came back on, we were told by camping world that was our responsibility to get fixed they did not fix things like that. Also we had problem with the motor home keeping a charge and the engine boost was not working. Took motor home up on Oct 25 for repairs, when we talked to them over the phone they said it would take a couple days. When we got there they told us it could take up to a week. Finally got a hold of them today (11/12/18) and was told nothing was done yet because they could not find awning anywhere. They have been looking for 2 weeks and so as soon as they get that they would put that on and look into the other problems. Then was told we needed to get it winterized because it was not safe to leave up there with out it winterized. I asked them how they could find the time to get it winterized if they couldn't even find the time to get the other stuff done. He stated "I will just have to put down here you refused to have it winterized you know of the big risk of leaving it here with out it winterized. Explained to him we have the stuff at home to get it winterized. He stated we could come up there and winterize it explained to him the length of time to get there. I told him we did not expect it to be there that long he stated it is not un common for us to have campers and RV's there for 30 days or more. It just upsets me that we took our hard earned savings to enjoy some camping and all it has done has been one problem after another and Camping World of Harrisburg doesn't even care. When you try and talk to them they are rude they are not nice what so ever. I have never in my life have felt so disrespected!!!! I feel like we have taken our life savings and threw it in the garbage. Eric Heater I hope you never have to feel the way I feel right now and if you do ever feel this way you will think of the old women you were talking to on the phone who you made light of her concerns and maybe you will think then Why didn't I care about these people and there concerns. When asked for Regional managers phone number I was told there is no phone number only have a email address.

Camping World in Tucson, Arizona - Awful; find another RV store

Camping World Tucson defines the term "bad customer service" and "no customer service". At the end of August 2018 I purchased a new 2019 Keystone Cougar travel trailer. It has been in the shop for 5 of the 10 weeks that I have owned it. Partially because Keystone's definition of quality control (or lack thereof) and partially because Camping World did not get it right the first time. I arranged to obtain and inspect the trailer this morning. When I made the appointment the service rep. was told to arrange a place for me to inspect and large enough for the slide to be extended. I was the only person there when I arrived. I waited for 25 minutes for the trailer to be towed out of the service area. No trailer. I was told that the tech. that would be towing the trailer was assisting another customer. But I was there first. I waited another 20 +/- minutes. The trailer finally appeared. But it was parked in a location such that the would not have been possible to open the slide --- a request that I made when I made the appointment and reiterated when I checked in with the service rep. at 8:00. An example of what was to be remedied: the wall covering was coming loose in places; the vinyl flooring in approx. 20 spots was detached from the sub-flooring and was bubbling; a door molding was not attached to the door jam; the stove top did not latch and the top was loose; the battery intermittently went dead or provided power to the hitch jack, but not to the coach interior; the window shades were out of adjustment and did not stay up. Let me start by saying I've bought 4 new units from this Camping World location. My experience has been absolutely horrible as relates to customer service and their service department. They treat you with such disrespect and act as if your a nuisance if you call or take something in. I would not have returned but because of their nation wide location convenience I thought I would give them another try. What a huge mistake they haven't changed at all. I am finished with Camping World and refuse to patronize a company that treats their customers the way they do regardless of convenience.

Camping World throughout the US needs new management. Same issues everywhere I've traveled in this country.

Rude and don't care about customer service.

Didn't buy my RV from them and purchased over $20k elsewhere. Everyone I talk to has same experience.

I turned my new Motor Home in for service and warranty work. That was over 6 Weeks ago. I bought a new home because I wanted to be able to use it and not worry about it being in the shop all the time. I can never get any answers and told that they will call me. I never get any calls. I am sick as we have missed two trips all ready and would like to use my new home. I will never buy another Motor Home from Camping world or will I ever recommend it to any of my friends. My home is a 2018 Thor 29M vin #1f65f5dyxj05549 and was purchased in Camping World in Indianapolis, Dealer number 8022. I took it to Camping World of Bowling Green, ky, because I was told that it would be closer for us and it would save time. Bowling Green is about one hour closer for us but if it takes forever what good it?
