Service? what Service!!!!!!!

Bought our trailer at this location for my husband to stay in on his job. The water heater leaking, fridge never worked on electricity, we paid a ton for propane. Took it in for service about 30 days ago told it would be ready in 1.5 weeks. Drove 3 hours to pick it up to be told the guy we dealt with was no longer with the company, no one had a clue. We left it again advising son had to have it the next weekend for a ball tourney. Called to check progress never spoke to same person, never received call backs, given the excuse our computer is down twice, warranty person in hospital, finally drove back 3 hours picked it up, service department advised they would get the warranty issues worked out & parts ordered, would be ready hen e bring it back. Called back to make sure all on schedule told again the computer is down will call you back, has been days no call back, now when we call we are sent straight to the answering system. Know several friends and family etc. have advised DO NOT GO TO CAMPING WORLD!!!!!!!!! I'm taking bets on hat year this company ill go out o business! ha ha

RV still in repair shop since April 30 2019

I purchased a 2019 forest river sierra 387mkok on April 30 2019. I purchased it that day so that Mike the salesman could get his end of the month sale. On our way home that day we had a accident pulling into the rv park. I called Mike and he referred me to Shawn in the service department. I was told by him to bring it back to camping world. once there he looked at it and said it would take about a month to repair. I had already contacted the insurance company. (progressive). A few days went by and the adjuster called me and said that Shawn told him to hold off coming out until we get better weather. Finally on May 13 we got the estimate. 400 dollars for parts and 5000 dollars in labor. Shawn told me that he had just ordered the parts. So as time went by I left messages with Shawn to try and get an update and got no return calls even though his voicemail stated that all calls would be returned that day. I texted Mike to see if he could help me and I was told by him in a rude text that I would have to deal with Shawn. Finally on May 30 my wife talks to him and he says all parts were there except for apiece of metal and it wouldn't arrive until June 20. (Are you kidding me?). He said it would have to ship ground and it would take a few weeks to arrive and that they would not start the work until all parts arrived. Then on Friday June 14 I get a call from Olga and she says that Shawn no longer worked there and that she would be handling things. I was informed that NO PARTS were ordered until MAY 30. She brought up the ground shipping again and I told her it doesn't take 3 plus weeks to ship anything in the United States from point a to point b. I have been lied to from the very beginning and this is absurd. All I want is to be told the truth and to get my rv back. Bottom Line: Horrible service and a bunch of dishonest people.

During our purchase of a 2017 Cedar Creek 5th wheel we were assured it would be thoroughly checked out and in top notch condition. When we got it home and set up, There were missing fridge shelves and parts/exhaust fans not working etc but worst was when we went to drain sewer tanks, they were corroded and would not open. We spent weeks trying to find someone to talk to...the service manager would not talk to us or call us back!!! After a month I finally got someone to schedule a service visit and they put in a temporary fix, told us to drain the tanks, and they would come back and put in permanent fix. I called to schedule this and they said, I guess we did not call you back but we are not coming back out to complete the work. The underpinning of camper is laying on ground. Worst service ever!!!!!!!

New 2019 Forrest River Cedar Creek silverback purchased 8/18. Taken for multiple warranty repairs 11/18 by 4/19 50% repairs done. Just used 5/19 seems none of "repairs" are really fixed!! Not to mention AC #2 not working, toilet leaking, black water valve won't close so had to get mobile service to rig up a temporary shut off at end of clean out! They had for 6 months and didn't fix anything right! Parts still on "order" I'm so upset! $60,000 rig that's beautiful but too many things broken being brand new!!

Went to Camping World in Kingston, NY. We had an appointment but we were treated like they didn't have time for us and they were rude. It was the beginning of February and freezing out. We were left to look at the trailer ourselves with no electricity to check things out. We were looking to purchase a Keystone Raptor which was listed for about $80,000. We were left in an office waiting a few different times for over half an hour at a time. When someone would show up to talk to us, they didn't answer any questions and would act annoyed that we were asking questions and get up and walk out and we were left sitting again. We put $500 cash down for a deposit and they said they we would have to submit an application. We told them we had very good credit and they said they ran it and it wasn't that good. When they called back, they said they were surprised that we had such good credit. (Well did they run it or didn't they when we were there?) They kept contradicting themselves. We then told them a couple of days later that we decided not to go through with the sale as we weren't happy with the way we were treated. We asked about the deposit and was told they would send it right out. We have called and emailed several times trying to get the deposit back. No one ever responded to us and it is now May and we still have not received the deposit.

Montana Heat duct Issue

Camping World - Montana Heat duct Issue

We have a 2018 Montana High Country 381TH. It was delivered to us in July 2017 but not opened or used until Late spring of 2018.

Camper has worked fine until we had to turn on the furnace and found no air flow coming into the bedroom or the bathroom. We have good air flow and good heat coming from the ducts in the living room and kitchen but nothing in the bedroom and nothing in the bathroom. Try sitting on that throne when it is 28 degrees outside and no heat in the bathroom.

Fast forward to where are today. I got instructions about where a tube coming from the furnace to the basement area was located and how the problem was associated with the tube maybe slipping off the connection to the rear heater ducts.

I opened the wall and much to my surprise the tube appears to be intact and connected. I pulled the heater tube loose and again to my surprise I have little if any airflow coming from tube. This would tend to say the tube is either crushed, obstructed or cut open somewhere between the furnace and the basement area. This is entirely under the floor.

All contained in the frame and no one wants anything to due with it. Since this is OBVIOUSLY a workmanship issue, how does Keystone justify not fixing the issue without me having to file on my personal insurance?

They don't justify it, they just will not fix it...

As a first time buyer of a full time 5th wheel, this trailer had the floor plan we wanted and the price was competitive but the service work and from what I can see from the posts everywhere the warranty system SUCKS. Unless things change, Keystone will not be where I spends the dollars for a new coach in a few years.

So you bought the unit in July of 2017 and posted this in December of 2018. Sounds like you are out of the 1 year manufactuers warranty period. It is not the dealerships or keystones fault that you failed to use the camper.

Pleasant Experience

As you may have guessed I went into Camping World with a high level of anxiety based on things I read online and videos I have seen. So my review so far will be based on my initial experience. Firstly, I encountered Billy Starley the sales associate. Billy was informative and was a honest guy. Nothing Billy said was misleading or untruthful and I highly recommend working with him. Secondly, I came face to face with "The Finance Guy" and was prepared to "get it on" but guess what....Tom Kolles is a great guy and was patient with us and more importantly me putting him under a spotlight. Nothing he told me was misleading and he was right on the numbers. I had intended to not buy any extended warranty as we all have read about those headaches but he gave me a deal on a 7 year program with a lower deductible than I could find online. Tom was NEVER pushy and I can appreciate that because I sure was one of "THOSE" types of people. Lets just say Tom will remember me....lol..he was a cool guy and I could tell he seems to actually care. Lastly, I did the walk around with Kris....what a character and in a great way...super nice guy and I appreciated his approach. So yes, I purchased a 7 year extended warranty plan( my own choice, no pressure) and I had priced them and he was offering a good deal. So every dealership may be different and some of the horror stories may be true. In my experience with Camping World of Sherman TX....it may be worth a drive to do business with these folks as it was not a pressured experience. If buying seek out Billy and Tom will make financing understandable and Kris will take care of the walk around and keep you aware of everything. So......I can say So Far.....So Good!

A Camping World supervisor just phoned stating that a call will be made to the delivery company telling them to make convenient hour arrangements with us to receive delivery if not delivered in a 3rd attempt another delivery service will be arranged. Meanwhile we if we are going to use our camper we will be sleeping on a blow up mattress.

Made an order and lost a days pay from work to receive scheduled shipment on Tuesday. No call no delivery. The delivery company rescheduled delivery for yesterday between 4 and 7 pm. NO CALL NO DELIVERY!! We are attempting to find out when we are getting the items we paid for and cannot contact the delivery company at this #504-818-****. Can someone please help us A.S.A.P. with this issue?

Walked away from Deal

My family and I walked into camping world in Lakewood, NJ a week ago and liked a 2019 heartland Prowler 32 ft. I left a deposit and was told to come back in a week to pick up. Well we arrived at 830 on Saturday 4/20 to pick up camper and it went downhill from there. I still didn’t know my payment or the APR of my loan (even though I was approved), I had asked for satellite tv to be included (it wasn’t) and a generator (it wasn’t) and they had no recollection of our two discussions about these items. I was then told I needed to install a hitch package (of course at an additional cost) and I was ready to walk from the deal, but they threw in the hitch and installation so I gave them another shot. I proceeded out to the camper in the garage to do a “walk through” and found the flaring wasn’t completely screwed in with the rep stating “well sometimes they come from the factory that way”???i then went inside and they turned everything on and when the AC/Heat Thermostat was demonstrated it was in Celsius blanked when touched and took repeated touches to operate even one degree up or down. I asked about this and the rep said well these things are hit or miss and I left and walked to the sales manager and ended the deal and asked for my refund. This camper was a wreck and all they wanted to do was make the sale! Glad I left that headache on the lot!

Be glad you walked away!!! I have a 2019 class A Georgetown ....

it has had many problems.... it was in the shop and to be repaired... after camping one time there are still issues with it and some are repeats... the bad part is I’ve been calling Apollo Camping World for a week and leaving messages to get a call back to make an appointment.

No response!!!

If I don’t hear back today I’m going to call the corporate hotline and complain. See if that does any good!

Camping World - Dissatisfied with everything!
We recently purchased a 2017 Keystone Raptor 428sp on June 7th. My husband and I were so excited. The first camping trip was the next day. We got to the campsite, our friends were already there. Got everything hooked up and was ready to leave for dinner, when I passed by the 1/2 bath, close to the garage and water was pouring out of the toilet. We turned the water off and waited until the next morning to call Camping World. Unable to use our bathrooms, we were using our friends facilities, we were very upset. Camping World did send someone to the campsite, but we had to wait 1/2 the day for them to show up. We had to cancel our pontoon rental we had planned with our friends. Then after everything was fixed, my husband went to take a shower and no hot water. Basically our weekend was ruined, but wait it gets better. We were told that Camping World would come and pick our camper from our house to fix the issues. Needless to say we were called and told the truck to haul or camper was broken. So my husband had to take off on work on Saturday to deliver the camper. In constant contact with Rob Lyons, General Manager, everything was set for the camper to be delivered back to us on Wednesday, June 20th, since we were going camping for our 33rd wedding anniversary on June 22nd. Then I receive a call from Rob stating that there was a freak accident and our camper was hit by another camper coming into a bay near ours. It punctured the nose of the front of the camper. Rob, thinking this was funny, said well I guess we are putting on the traileze air suspension system for free! He also told us he would fiberglass the hole over and we would have our camper back on Thursday the 21st in order for us to still be able to camp. Thursday came and I contacted Rob and he said everything was on schedule and the camper will be there a little after 4pm. As you know 4pm goes by, 5pm goes by, and no word from anyone. So I text Rob and he calls and says the truck broke down that was delivering our camper and they would deliver it on Friday. Still planning on our camping trip, I get a call from Rob telling me that the delivery truck wrecked, not with our camper though. So we had to cancel our anniversary camping trip and my husband drove to Richmond Indiana to pick our camper up. Our camper was there for 4 days and not everything was fixed, plus to replace the whole nose piece it was 4 to 6 weeks to get the new piece. We have requested to Rob that we want to switch out the 2017 Raptor to the 2018 Raptor that's on their lot. He told me they can't do that. You are the General Manager you can do what is necessary to keep your customer happy. Right now we are not happy! You damaged our $80,000 toy hauler and even though you are going to fix it, as many times as we have been lied to, I can't trust that it would be fixed on time and correctly. It seems like once they sell you something they don't care if you are happy, or not. I even called customer service, and to date, no call back. Please read this before you buy a camper from them, so you don't end up like us. Deborah and Brian

Extremely happy customer

I purchased a used Gulfstream in November of 2018.They sold it to me at a very affordable price and before I purchased it I understood that I was buying it as is.A matter of fact I signed a form agreeing to those terms.Now it is mid July 2019 and I haven't had any major problem with it.They also was kind enough to hold the coach for about a week and a half until I arrived to purchase it,though I only had to put a small deposit up front.They were honest and up front about the condition of the coach before I came to see it.I am extremely impressed with my 37' feet diesel pusher which is also my home until I decided to purchase another house.A loud shout-out to say Thank You Camping World of Oklahoma City Ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
