Camping World - Lousy service after sale

Bought a trailer ,everything was good until I gave them the check. someone was supposed to show me how to operate items in the trailer. Could not find anybody to help me they left me hanging in the yard had to hook up trailer myself and did not know how to use any of the features . no help at all after I gave them their check . they did a follow up call after I bought the trailer and I told them about my complaints all they had to say was they were sorry I felt that way and hung up . lol . would not recommend .

Camping World in Peoria, Arizona - Worst experience ever.

Took a month to receive my fifth wheel after purchase. Called several times and never received callback. Went there in person after a month and no one knew what I was talking about. They finally promised delivery, made an appointment for hitch installation and to pick up the camper in two days. Needless to say we showed up and again nobody remembered. Decided not to purchase the hitch from them and have the camper delivered that afternoon. At 5:30PM the sales manager called and asked if it would be alright to deliver the next day. He promised to pay us for half of purchase and installation of the hitch from any dealer because of all of the issues we had. I sent him the receipt and he responded back that it would take about two weeks for a check to be sent. After a month I asked if this was going to happen and he responded that a check had been processed and he would check on the progress. Have never heard another thing from him. I emailed him again after another week passed with no response.

The absolute worst online shopping experience I have ever had. Customer service reps were rude and unhelpful. It is the first time I was ever made to feel like I had done something wrong for purchasing a product. I have never regretted buying something from a company so bad.

Camping World in Bellingham, Washington - Terrible salesperson

Went to camping world today as we were interested in upgrading our trailer. There was one open and I had a look inside. Brought my husband over to look at it. There was a salesman with a couple outside the trailer. The salesman told us we could not go in because he was with a customer. I said all we wanted to do was go inside so I could show my husband but we were not allowed to go in. That is definitely one lost sale.

We just wanted to buy a awning replacement fabric and installation. Got back with our guy with all the details and numerous phone calls and you never called us back. While we were in there we were looking for somebody that knew what they were doing. Couldn't find anybody. Told that they were training. I could have walked in there blind and helped people more than they did. Very stressful and very poor customer service.

Camping World in East Grayson, Texas - Pleasant Experience

As you may have guessed I went into Camping World with a high level of anxiety based on things I read online and videos I have seen. So my review so far will be based on my initial experience. Firstly, I encountered Billy Starley the sales associate. Billy was informative and was a honest guy. Nothing Billy said was misleading or untruthful and I highly recommend working with him. Secondly, I came face to face with "The Finance Guy" and was prepared to "get it on" but guess what....Tom Kolles is a great guy and was patient with us and more importantly me putting him under a spotlight. Nothing he told me was misleading and he was right on the numbers. I had intended to not buy any extended warranty as we all have read about those headaches but he gave me a deal on a 7 year program with a lower deductible than I could find online. Tom was NEVER pushy and I can appreciate that because I sure was one of "THOSE" types of people. Lets just say Tom will remember me....lol..he was a cool guy and I could tell he seems to actually care. Lastly, I did the walk around with Kris....what a character and in a great way...super nice guy and I appreciated his approach. So yes, I purchased a 7 year extended warranty plan( my own choice, no pressure) and I had priced them and he was offering a good deal. So every dealership may be different and some of the horror stories may be true. In my experience with Camping World of Sherman TX....it may be worth a drive to do business with these folks as it was not a pressured experience. If buying seek out Billy and Tom will make financing understandable and Kris will take care of the walk around and keep you aware of everything. So......I can say So Far.....So Good!

Camping World - SOLD US A LEMON

BOUGHT A 7000 DOLLAR BRAND NEW POP UP CAMPMER, THAT BREAKS DOWN 5 OR 6 TIMES, AND ONLY HAD IT 9 MONTHS, ONLY USED IT ONCE AFTER THEY SAID IT WAS FIXED (AGAIN) AND IT BROKE DOWN AGAIN IN MONTANA IN THE COLD, WIFE BACK WAS BROKEN TRING TO HELP RAISE IT NOW THEY REFUSE TO GIVE US A REPLACEMENTNOW WE ARE OUT SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, GOING TO SUE THEM, AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY DON'T CARE!!!!!!! Camping World - Found the Perfect RV

Stopped and toured the RV area with a specific RV in mind. The staff were polite and did not pressure me. I walked until I found the perfect RV 2019 Rockwood Mini lite. Steve was awesome help me with details no pressure It all worked out as I planned. The team did an excellent job. They made sure all my questions were answered and I was ready when I pulled out. Thank you Steve and the team at Camping Workd of Lubbock.
