Camping World in Colfax, North Carolina - Sorry warranty

We bought our very first camper from the Colfax, NC dealer in October of 2013. We had the camper winterized before we left the dealer because we knew that we would not be using it until it started to get warm. We ended up having to use it after an extended power outage. When we hooked up at the campground, my wife turned on the water for the kitchen faucet and the head of the faucet came off and I noticed that the shower head was leaking from a crack in the fitting. When I took it up to camping world to have the warranty take care of this, I was told that even thought that dealer was the one that had winterized it, that we had not had the camper winterized for the season and that it was not going to be covered by the warranty. Lets just say that it was a good thing that I worked for a plumber before I was in the military, so I ended up fixing the problem myself. We were going to use the camper a few weeks ago and the and found more problems with it, I decided that I would not go back to camping world and ended up taking the camper to my local family dealer right down the road from where we lived and ended up trading it in on a new camper that they had. I will never use camping world again.

Camping World in Redding, California - Inferior customer service

Bought trailer from them then bought a husky electric jack and had it installed.took trailer out camping on first trip and the leg bent. They refuse to replace or warranty it and only had one month.the say it is consumer error that it was dragged even though the wheels were chalked.I would go somewhere else if you want quality service and to be a happy customer. Now waiting for call from husky as they already denied warranty so waiting for supervisor. Will let you know if they make it right.save your money an go somewhere else you will be a lot happier and less headache.

Camping World in Rancho Cucamonga, California - Poor Service - St.Augustine FL

In February of 2013 I traded in my 5th wheel for a 2011 Tuscany from Camping World of St.Augustine, FL. Included in the deal they were to install a setup to tow my truck. Very poor job, the wiring to the back lights chafed in several places and had to be replaced, the tow hitch mounted to the truck was improperly installed and I later found that it is illegal to tow my truck without tow brakes. I was told some states do not require this, Fl and RI where I live do. They would do nothing to correct this. When we bought our RV we were told that it had been inspected and everything worked, not so. the outside TV was not plugged in, the washer did not work properly, the refrigerator leaked water on the floor, side camera missing lens cover, light fixture broke in bathroom, satellite not hooked up properly. We made arrangements to come back, in April, on our way home to RI to have these thing fixed. It took 1 week, they did not order the parts that were need in advance. The day we dropped it off we were told to come back around 4, to our surprise the RV had not been touched. MY ADVICE LOOK FOR A RESPECTFUL DEALER BEFORE YOU BUY.

I totally agree with your complaint, I just purchased a class A from them and was told the same ***. They had me bring it back and I had to wait there all day and nothing was done.

I have left 3 messages for the service manager to call me and he has not returned my calls. I will never do biz with CW again.

They let me take delivery of a coach with potential brake issues among other things.

The coach was supposed to be cleaned and it was dirty. This place is poorly managed and they have no respect for there costumers and we are there bread and butter..........

Camping World - Negative Review Not Published

I recently purchased a RV water filter that did not work. I was able to flush the filter but then the water flow completely stopped. Something was blocking the flow of water apparently within the filter. I wrote a polite short factual review giving a poor rating. My review was never published and I noticed that there are no negative reviews of any product on their web site. Over the years I've spent a fair amount of money with them. However no more as I am done with them. Most of the items that they sell can be purchased at Amazon and Amazon does not suppress negative reviews.

Camping World Deal Review

From all the horror stories I have heard and witnessed. There is no way on this green earth I would deal with camping world. I have heard them tell an individual we will fix your problem. When it comes down to the finish " we are not paying anything!". Not me no way.

Rude & terrible service Camping World Rogers MN

Recreational Vehicle problem on the road. We called ahead to set up minor service and had a rude person answer and generally was a real ***. We remained calm and asked to speak with manager, we got numerous excuses - not here, then out back in the shop, etc. - pretty much refused to let us speak with manager. Extremely dissatisfied. Tried to call Camping World corporate but all they can do is 'take a report'. Brought my camper in for winterization and i got it back with dents all over the rear. They claim someone had to have backed into it so it is not their fault.

Problem is the dents happened behind the rear gate so there is no way someone could have backed into it. The gate had to have been down for it to occur.

Camping World in Spartanburg, South Carolina - PIRIT HOSE IS A PIECE OF ***!

Purchased our first one on April 8, 2014. Tried to use it April 22 and it leaked at both ends from under the black rapping at the hose ends. Returned it to CW on the 23rd and being a GS member no problem with the return and replacement. Now hooked up the new one last night and this morning tada! HUGE PUDDLE OF WATER! CG owner is not pleased with us!!!!!! Taking it back today (24th). I have friends rave about this product! Wonder if the have even used it?? Read other reviews on this product and should have done that first! Would never have gone back for a second one if I had!

I'd return it to CW and talk to the GM. If that don't work talk to the DM out of AWA (in the ZL area).

He used to be part of the IG team that designed the TE ends of the hose. It's possible he can send you some new TE ends ASAP.

Camping World in New Braunfels, Texas - Purchase

We were looking to purchase a trailer pull RV. Our salesman told us to lie about our income, which we didn't. When he submitted out information to be approved it was approved. We got our down payment and went to do the transaction with the loan officer. The loan manager wanted us to show proof of income. No problem, we are more than willing. When we showed proof the Liam manager said our information was submitted stating we made 7k more a month than we do. This upset us very much. Everything had to be resubmitted for approval. We were told it would be three hours and we'd hear back. It's been two days now and we still have not heard back nor have they return our calls. We will NOT do business with them again.

Camping World in Germantown, Maryland - DISORGANIZED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT

ALOT OF HIDDEN ITEMS WRONG WITH TRAILER THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE BRAND NEW. Taken in and 13 items had to be repaired. in which all werent done. they stapled curtain up instead of fixing plastic clips, wronf color stain on a 12 in or more scratch in cabinet door, puddy all over ceiling in trailer, table wrong 1 and warped. fridge door warped , the list goes on and on. repair took over a month, got back and was closing up and noticed a 1/2 inch or more seam in metal on slideout. called and was told account would be noted so it would be covered under warranty, bring in spring. was told no notes in file. call company they say bring down and take pics and send in., trailer there 3 weeks and no one looked at, my husband says let anyone look at, it was getting close to time to put back in permanent spot. was called next day with a almost $1000 bid to fix. said nothing was covered. debris under rubber roof, seam that big is our responsibility to maintain. OUR YOU KIDDING ME, THIS IS NOT NORMAL/. THE TRAILER WAS USED FOR 6 MONTHS IN A PERMANANT SPOT, IT SHOULD NOT HAVE A GAP IN THE METAL THAT WIDE AND THERE SHOULD BE NO DEBRIS UNDER THE ROOF.. SO NOTHING WAS DONE. I WILL NOT EVER BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD OF BUFFALO WHICH IS IN HAMBURG, NY AND WILL DO MY BEST TO DETER ANYONE FROM PURCHASING A TRAILER FROM THEM. WILL NOT RECOMMEND, QUITE THE OPPOSITE. ONCE THEY GET YOUR SALE, ITS" OH WHO ARE YOU?" DISHONEST, DISORGANIZED, ALL OF DISTASTE!!
