Camping World in Leeds, Alabama - Very Poor Service Robersdale , AL

We purchased a 2014 Cougar High Country in May of 13, we arrived on Saturday morning to sign and take delivery, it had not been washed, no Teflon coat yet , no scotchgaurd, had a torn screen. Had to leave for 3 weeks , came back to pick up still wasn't right , had to leave 3 more weeks , this is a 150 mile trip one way. Next had A/C problems and was told that that is the way the unit operates, this is our 5th camper, never had an A/C operate like this. 2 months later they had to replace the A/C Unit. Then this Spring we noticed the clear coat coming off the front cap and the Gel coat was fading on the front cap. Took back to dealer, left for 3 weeks, went to pick up and they had only sprayed over the peeling clear with new clear looked terrible and still faded, left almost 3 more weeks and dealer was supposed to deliver unit to me for all my troubles. Was going to deliver Monday but didn't , was going to deliver Tuesday but didn't , then they said truck blew engine on Wednesday and had to purchase new truck but would deliver Friday morning but didn't, then said would be the first of the week. I told them this was unacceptable. During this year long adventure the service department has never called me with a status update , every contact made was initiated by me. If they tell you they will call you back don't believe them , they wont you will have to call them, they are also very rude on the phone with you. I have been in the service department picking up my unit and noticed they are rude to everyone. Probably the worst customer service I have ever seen and the bad part is Camping World doesn't care.

Camping World in Lititz, Pennsylvania - Price online not real price

Found a rv online and called to get trade in value for my rv. I was told by the sales manager I would work with his top sales person. We'll his top sales person quoted me a sale price that was over $12,000 higher than the advertised price. When I mentioned this to this top salesperson he said that I was wrong because the price I saw was below cost. So what does this say about their best salesperson? I think we all can figure it out. I have heard enough about camping world service complaints to now know I will stay await from them.

Camping World in Savannah, Georgia - My RV was in for servicing and they wrecked it...

It would not have been so bad but they didn't tell us and when we got it home and got out the damage was evident. I immediately took pictures and sent them to the mechanic who had done the work and he sent them to my service tech. When I brought it back for repairs, everyone from the services department were arguing about "how it couldn't have happened there" and giving attitude. I guess they thought if they all stuck together (and lied) that they would look better. My service rep was awesome and totally supportive about getting the RV repaired quickly. He makes using Camping World of Savannah worthwhile.

Camping World in Woodstock, Georgia - Bad service, and cheating

I bought a 2002 rv in april 2014. camping world was supposed to take care of 3 problems found on my rv as mentionned on the pdi sheet, they didn't do it they cheat me, they installed 2 used snow tire inside the dual wheel instead 6 match tires as mentionned, they told me that they change the alternator, not done, i try to reach the manager, no return call, service manager no answer, the ceo Marcus send me 10.00$ coupon no answer about the problem, when i picked the rv, they were on an open house no body to show me the rv, the generator was running to charge the coach battery, i returned to the shop and i waited an hour before they try to find an answer,salesman are professionnal, service very poor, and the manager very incompetent, they owe me 1600$ for 2 tires and alternator as mentionned on the pre delivery sheet and they don't pay

Why does Good Sam associate with a company with such horrific reviews on Camping World including my own experiences? You must not be any better by associating with them. I will not renew my Good Sam's membership and insurance.

Bought a new 2014 toy hauler had problems with the generator and back screen took it back to get it fixed took them over a month to fix the problems they replaced the screen now it falls off all the time the tv went out i called them to get it fixed they told me i could not bring it in for a week wish i never bought this from them there service is the worst when i did go to pick up the trailer know body even comes out to help you hook up they all just stand in the show room *** they are the worse service department in kansas city make you wonder how they will stay in business

Camping World - Cleaning Service Review from Concord, New Hampshire

Operator at the Chichester, NH location hung up on me once, called back, told her she hung up on me and no apology. Asked to speak to the service manager and was able to leave message but she told me not one manager not available to speak with about my concern. What kind of business doesn't leave one person in charge of their business.? She tells me that service associate available but then connects me to someone else's mailbox. Again when I called back again, no apology.....when I her it would go a long way for her to say please, thank you while she's attempting to customer service that this would be amazingly helpful and that's when she says "thank you, have a nice day". Absolutely brutal. On too of this, this company has had my 2014 freedom express since October 31st except for 5 days to say they repaired it when they only scratched several areas on exterior, pulled door off the hing for the bathroom, never fixed the leak, and left all the drinks in the freezer that exploded everywhere ( not cleaning anything up). And leaving several pieces of trash inside the unit. Leaving sticky residue that I have to ask to have cleaned off. Here I am on June 13th 2014 with NO CAMPER still!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely the worst nightmare I could of ever had with a single company. I don't want this thing, I feel betrayed, unrelieved of any stress nor made it comfortable for me to enjoy a 30k recreational vehicle....

Camping World in Chico, California - Double charged my bank card & very poor customer service

Double charged my bank card on two seperate orders. When I complained I was told that is how our system works. We were not advised of the double charge prior to purchase which caused my bank account to encure bank charges as well. Weeks of frustration trying to get the mess straightened out. Order promised on a certain date. This did not happen either. It is impossible to deal with them as no one seems to have answers to my questions. The first order I did on the internet the second order I called and spoke to a live person who assured me the double charge would not happen again. IT DID! Will not deal with them again. we have been dealing with them for man, many years. Not anymore though.

Camping World in Portland, Oregon - Don't trust pre-owned inspection

BEWARE! New to RV ownership and went pre-owned in case we determine RVs aren’t our thing. We purchased what appeared to be a gently used travel trailer about 6 months ago from Camping World rather than a private party, mainly given the peace of mind they sold us on with their "full inspection" of the trailer before we bought it. We assumed we were getting a used product that was in good condition. Boy were we wrong. We have used it four times for long weekend trips and have discovered that the sub floor is rotted due to a severe plumbing leak in the shower. Their response? Sorry, our inspections don’t cover that type of thing and we can’t help you unless you want to pay us to fix it. We're pretty sure that a new, larger RV is in our future, but after this experience, it definitely won’t be purchased from Camping World.

I called this morning to inquire why my credit card will not work on the Camping World site, the clerk said I don't know why your card does not work and was very rude my card is good and works on other sites I made three attempts to talk to someone all rude last one putting me on hold till I gave up I'm done with these people I have been a very good customer and do not deserve to be treated like that

Camping World in Saint Augustine, Florida - Poor Service at St Augustine

Tried to add a second charge for installation of washer and dryer when I refused the cost and installation they changed their minds A promise of detailing my coach for free due to the amount of money spent from Paul service manager. NEVER DONE Insulted by John service rep when questioned about detailing whose response was wax is in the wash. They never even washed it. Excuse after excuse , time promised 3 days took 7 days Lousy service, lack of communication between management and employees promises not kept. Trying to over charge Read reviews before contracting BUYERS BEWARE !
