Camping World - Repair Review from Yorba Linda, California
Traveling from CA across US for 3 weeks. 3rd day we discovered in Joplin MO our 25 ft pull trailer (fleet wood/ prowler) under belly insulation ripped out and fell out first qtr section. Called Nashville TN, they couldn't 't repair days ordering parts. We were only in Nashville for 3 days. Called ahead to Greenwood, IN requested parts to be ordered 7 days ahead of us arriving. First response - our service dept booked until August! I complained if a RV is crossing US isn't CW suppose to have availability for emergencies/ drop ins ? Then foreman tells me their policy is not to accept self assesed damage would need to look at the trailer, then order parts needed, my god under belly installation has just 3 parts! After reading reviews counting our blessings CW isn 't fixing our trailer. Got a May/Pa shop in Indianapolis,IN to fix when we roll into Indiana Wednesday July 16th. Best part he believed me what parts fell off and accepted our self assessment!
Camping World - Repair Review from Lakewood Township, New Jersey
Waste of time to deal with them. They NEVER fix something the first time around. You always have to bring it back to "fix" it a couple of times. Dealing with Stephanie, the service manager is a frustrating and upsetting experience. She talks to people as if she was your teacher and you're a 12 years old teenager. Unbelievable that that store is still open! What a waste of time!!
Camping World in Oakwood, Georgia - Warranty work
We bought our Copper Canyon 5th wheel from CW. We had comparison shopped and were making our last stop at CW. We specifically asked if our truck a 2000 F250 2wd could handle this and were ASSURED that we would have no problems. We got a good deal, and were expecting a brand new unit. When they called us in 2 weeks we were excited, but later we find out this unit had been sitting in SC for MONTHS.....the carpet was nasty, finger prints everywhere, missing remotes.....When we go to pick up our camper, it is raining and we got about a 5 minute overview. Here comes the kicker, our truck cannot handle this camper!!! We had to go buy another truck, move the 5th wheel(more $$) and only then are we able to actually use the camper. I am not kidding....I could have bought a motorhome for what we had to do! It gets better, before we ever took it out for the first time we have a slide that jumped its track, an awning with a blown motor and a dvd player that puts subtitles on everything. We take it up there, 3 weeks later they call my husband to come get the camper, and he gets there and has to wait 2 more hours because they weren't done. We get it back with the slide fixed, not the awning, and are on our way out of town only to discover we don't have a power cord! The awning motor came in a few weeks later and my husband installed it himself. The radio went out and it took a while to come in under warranty, like a month.....the first time we go to pick it up. they can't give it to me because no one can find the paperwork. The second time we go to pick it up, I am on the phone with the service mgr and we have like 10 minutes to get there and they are telling me that they are closing! I kept him on the phone until we got there so they couldn't not give us our stuff. My last experience is by far the best. Our camper is on our property 3 hours from this location, inside a fence w/ no real way to easily move it. Our replacement radio goes out AGAIN. My husband disconnects the unit and we take it to CW only to be told that they cannot accept this because there is no one in service to accept parts. I am livid at this point and ask for the GM. He then proceeds to tell me that they can't take this unit because they can't be 100% sure it came out of our camper! THE GM said this to me! Its a freakin warranty part that they replaced not even 6 months ago! They finally took it and were going to send it in. 3 weeks ago and I still haven't had a call....I called them, and all I got was it shows that its on order but with no ETA. I kick myself every time I think about the opportunity we had to purchase from a smaller dealership......I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN.
Camping World - Deal Review from Brinkley, Arkansas
Don't buy your expensive luxury item from Camping World especially the Edmond, Ok location. Poor customer service and a inoperable service department. Haven't had our 5th wheel even 1 year yet and still haven't been able to work out any bugs that came with the purchase of the trailer. The service department never has parts and to get parts is like an act of Congress. They are very unorganized and I even have to question their skill level. Every time we have to deal with these people (2x now) the frustration level meter is at a 10+. I am so sick of them. I will never purchase from them again and I sure as *** won't use there so called service department. Frustrated Customer Kathy Braun
Camping World - Horrible Customer Service Review from Indianapolis, Indiana
Camping world of Indianapolis is horrible! Not only did the sales person lie to me about the RV I was looking at. It took me over two weeks to get my deposit back. The customer service was horrible and they could care less about returning my money.

2014 Heartland Mallard Review
Whatever you do DO NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD!!! We bought a 2014 Heartland Mallard from the Chattanooga Camping World. We had a severe leak which they were supposed to have fixed quickly. Three months later and we still don't have a camper. They have even told us three rimes that the camper was ready and when we get over there it hasn't been touched. They place no value at all on customer service and won't even return your calls. Going to see an attorney tomorrow.
Camping World - Repair Review from Blairsville, Pennsylvania
Rick was not good at all to deal with. Kept trying to talk us into another hitch adapter that we didn't need. Told me he didn't understand why it was tack welded but they are the ones that sold us the adapter a few years ago and did the original welding. Told us they wouldn't give us what he had told us because there were issues they didn't know about. We bought camper from there three years ago and whatever issues it had now it had then because all we ever did was fix and repair issues as we found them. When I told them I wouldn't take less for my trade he went to talk to his boss and never even made us a counter offer just said he would refund what we had put down. They knew when they saw the camper that they sold it to us three years ago and it had issues then and they never told us about them and they didn't want to get it back to have to deal with it again. Another review I read said Andrew was a crook and I feel the same way. Will not go back and will never recommend them to anyone again. Will talk anyone I know out of going there to buy anything. They try to get you in with a great price online but then add a $900 and some dollar prep fee, a destination fee that was $700 and some and $200 for a title that costs them $15. So what you thought was a good deal is no cheaper then anyone else when they are done.
Camping World - Salesperson Review from Jackson, Tennessee
My wife an I went to camping world in Chattanooga Tennessee to look at class a mother homes. The one that we had seen advertised was not of interest to us so we we were going out the door an the salesman said I have a 2013 winnabgo that I would like to show you. My wife went on to the car an I went to see the coach. Well I couldn't get it off my mind so we went back to see if we could make a deal. We did reach an agreement an we were so excited to be getting a 2013 coach well a week later they called an said everything was ready to be there in an hour we arrived at 1:00 pm an at 6:00 we were still waiting on the finance mananger . she was so max because she said she didn't no we were coming fussed the whole time how hungry she was.all the time didn't offer to explain the papers she was risking well at 8:00pm we were unloading our coach an they were selling it as we were giving out stuff out. On our way we went to Florida on Monday morning I.called our insurance co to switch the coach when I gave her the ven# the insurance co said sir that is a 2010 I passed out. Called camping world an they said we signed the papers which we did I trusted the salsman .came home went to talk to the manager he had nothing to say except the salesman was out of town. He would check it out and give me all back .I haven't heard from them. My wife ash the finance mgmt why we didn't get a better interest rate an it being a 2013 she didn't answer is this the way you train your people?
Camping World in Orlando, Florida - Service Department is worthless/Theft
So... we purchased a 2013 Coleman Expedition brand new with warranty. Before we even took our camper home we noticed that two sets of the blinds in the camper were missing. My husband and I made sure to have our sales man include these on the We-owe, in which he informed us they would order them and call us when they came in. While pulling the camper home we noticed one of he running lights were out and once we got the camper to the house my husband noticed that one of the tires had a bubble in it. We spent the next month calling Camping World to get the status on the blinds and every time we called they had NO IDEA what we were talking about. Not to mention they said the bubble in the tire wouldn't be covered by our warranty even tho it had it when we took it into our possession. We eventually took the camper out for a test run and realized that the black tank sensor was not working. That was the final straw. We went up to the office to inquire about the blinds, getting the bubble in the tire fixed, running light, and black tank fixed. All of which they attempted to say would NOT be covered by our warranty. My husband eventually spoke with a new Service Dept manager who assured us that everything would be fixed and that it would be "Top Priority". Two months later they finally call us to tell us our camper was all finished and ready to go. When my husband went to pick it up he noticed that our TV was missing. After speaking with a representative he said they couldn't do anything because management wasn't in the office until Monday and they "didn't know if their surveillance cameras worked or not". This is absolutely unacceptable. Never in my life have we dealt with a company like this. I don't understand how they are still in business if this is how they conduct themselves.
