Be happy you didn't get approved. I bought an RV there and it has several issues.

The self leveler does not work, it was missing the microwave dish, a decal has a rub mark. The best part a small hole in the rubber roof.

I put several calls messages and e- mails and no one called me back. By far the worst customer service I ever experienced.

Camping World in Akron, Ohio - I worked there !

I can tell you they hide and wont tell you known defects or damage. I have seen and told not to tell the customer about a missing fresh water tank. Told not to say anything about fender damage. Told not to say anything about a missing drain or stove that is damaged. They just want your money and " get out". The sales guys have no idea on what they sold. I have seen parts ripped off other campers to put in ones going out the door. So, I have also seen ones being sold where the furnace and water heaters were gone and not to tell the customer. It was rob Peter to pay Paul. Very unethical company , no morals and a dog eat dog back stabbing employees.

I also work at CW and I don't see anything like this. Sounds like a disgruntled previous employee.

I see people working hard in service and sales all around me at my store.

Rv's are like traveling homes and have problems they aren't perfect but the travel and memories you make owning one are priceless...the good and the bad.

Camping World in Colorado Springs, Colorado - Water damage everywhere

I purchased a 2007 Fourwinds Motor home on May 15 2014 from the Colorado Springs store. I asked many questions about the condition of the unit. Specifically does it leak and is there water damage. I have in writing there is no water damage. Mike also said it had a 58 point inspection and no repairs are needed. There is water damage and lots of repairs needed. Pretty much every where you look there is water damage and rotten wood, to the tune of $20,000. Somebody there had to know and chose to ignore it. I trusted your company sales staff and service professionals to be truthful. How could anyone with a shred of decency and professional knowledge fill out the inspection report and not see the damage. I purchased from Camping World because they were a national chain believed the below statement. Bought my Travel Trailer from Camping World of South Alabama less than two years ago for $15,000. Traded in a great Popup for it.

Now I'm trading the Travel Trailer to another dealer for a Motorhome. They've found lots of water damage on my Travel Trailer and assured me (because of the aged areas) that it was there when I bought it. I got $5,000 for it.

The only way I'd ever buy from Camping World again is to take the unit to an independent repair shop and have them inspect it.

My wife and I purchase a 2014 Starcraft 31' travel trailer at the Statesville North Carolina store on June 11 of this year. When we bought it, there was a broken bed support, and we were promised that it would be fixed.

I know a new camper has some "bugs" to work out, but I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the campers performance. We returned from the beach and dropped the camper off on 6/23/14.....guess what they still have it, as of 8/4/14...Do Not...I repeat...do not buy from this company, the product is great but the store sucks canal water. They have no customer service after the sale. None whatsoever.

I wouldn't buy a lawn mower from them. I am a day away from filing with the BBB.

Or the local action 9 news team. They just did a similar story about the Spartenburg SC store and how they tried to rip a customer off as well...Beware....

Camping World - Sales Staff Review

Befor buying a camper or RV from Camping World Denver I would think twice as there are many other companies to choose from. They only care about one thing and that to sell you something and more on to the next person. Their sales team is poorly trained and knows very little about their inventory. They being the management is arrogant and condescending to its customers. When you call camping world they answer their phone with a speakerphone which 1. Is rude and 2. You can not hear them. I did speak to the sales manager about my experience and he could have cared less, so if your thinking about buying from Camping World I would think twice.

2013 Raptor bought at camping world in Chichester NH..worse service

The molding was broken and the brain blew out twice in the first day we had it. The doors open by them self while locked came back to camp after being gone a week to open door and everything wet from pouring flooding rain. They gas tanks had bad seals so they leaked all over the floor and the shocks are leaking still. They wasted so much time getting the wrong parts and sending incompetent people to fix the things under warrantee that we are still working on it two years later and they will not fix it because out of warrantee now. Also the stereo was not working and just annoying to buy a new camper that we paid a lot of money for to be hung out to dry and fighting with them for 2 years now. I want to tell them to take there camper and shove it and replace it. I have contacted keystone but that was no help. I will never do business with camping world in Chichester NH again. Conway NH is great.

Camping World - Even the customer service dept is horrible

On July 11th, I submitted my list of complaints. 1 week later I emailed for a lack of response, she replied with, I will get on this right now. Today I am still waiting, so here is my list of concerns. Marcus, I will start with the good words, Ray, the tech in Conway that worked on my vehicle was super. He did a very neat install. He stayed late so I didn't need to drive a 3rd time. He also took the time to explain the hook up for flat towing as well as the Jeep process. The Jeep process wasn't exactly like the manual but I appreciated his efforts. 1. Not sure how I could have ended up talking to the wrong store in NH but I called the number I was given and asked for the service dept that could price out the flat tow package for my Jeep. After communication several time with Brett Hartford, I discovered the signature line for him was in Chichester NH. From there I contacted Tim in the Conway store to get it straightened out. Tim suggested I contact Brett to get the part I special ordered refunded so the Chihester store could ship it to Conway. After leaving several messages with the Chichester store service manager and having Jason the Conway manager try to get the process resolved I finally nailed the Chichester manager down. He finally agreed to ship the part to Conway without the credit which was fine with me. 2. I scheduled the complete 2 day process of install for the RV and Jeep on a Friday and Saturday. Both my wife and I took the days off to do this. The night before I got a call from Jason at the Conway store informing me that they lost the part and it might be better to reschedule. I told him I was keeping the appointments since our overnight sty and vacation days were already arranged. I also told him to look again in hopes of finding it. A $500.00 part should not disappear. Unfortunately it was not located so they did what they could on the Jeep and the RV on the next day. I had also asked to have the propane filled in the RV while that had it but I later discovered that it was not filled. 3. Jason called to schedule a time to finish the Jeep since he managed to locate a part elsewhere. It was on back order from Brakemaster so that was a good thing. It was either that or they located the part that they lost. I have 0 confidence in them so that is what I am thinking. 4. After working on the Jeep awhile they told me that it might not get done. They asked who scheduled it and said that it should have been scheduled for a different time. I gave them a nasty look and told them that they needed to and I wasn't going to burn more vacation time. Ray ended up working late on a very hot and humid day so that it got finished. 5. When I looked at the invoice and was about to present them with the printouts I got online. They told me that they would charge me full rice for the labor if I wanted the price match. I informed them that Brett in Chichester told me no such thing and that they had that paperwork. That just infuriated me even more since by this time I had enough of Campingworld. 6. I was told to go to the front of the store to pay my bill and I did so. I got to the counter, the sales lady handed me some papers and said these are your copies. I gave her the credit card for payment without going through the papers since I have already reviewed the invoice earlier. As I drove down the road the phone rang. Someone from the service desk asked me rudely if I grabbed the work order papers? I asked, "from where," since I only went to the cash. He told me they were on the counter and I must have grabbed them, which sounded like he was implying I did it intentionally. I told him that O took only what was handed to me and that he needed to check with the sales lady. That needless to say had me burning up for the 1 1/2 hour ride home and then some. I think this is about it and I thought it was better for me to wait a week or so before sending this off. Gave me a chance to gather my thoughts in a more presentable manner.

Camping World in Bakersfield, California - They LOST my 5th wheel

I dropped my 5th Wheel off 10 days ago to have damaged THEY did to it repaired, called today to find out the status and they claim there is "no work order", interesting, I am sure i will get a bill nonetheless. The gentleman Joe I spoke with on the phone was rude, condescending and not very professional. They initially gave me a quote of $110 when I took it in and within 30 seconds it jumped to over $150.00 This company has no respect for it's customers, nor does it stay true to it's word. My father has been taking the 5th wheel there since 1993 and IF they find it, it will never go back.
