I purchased an RV from CW in Katy, TX. I paid for the unit in cash, every cent...

In order to do this, I cashed out my 401k, Pension & all Savings I had or ever will again.

IT IS IMPERATIVE TO NOTE, I WAS FORCED TO SELL THE UNIT IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR POST PURCHASE DUE TO C.O., POISONING, FALSE ADVERTISING, HEAVY WARDROBE DRAWERS BECOMING UNHINGED, FALLING & HITTING ME IN THE HEAD, ENSEN FELL OFF THE REAR LADDER WHICH HAD LATER BEEN DETERMINED TO BE SOLDERED AS A BANDAID RESOLVE POST SNAPPING OFF, RENDERING HIM UNCONSCIOUS & HOSPITALIZED, PLUS TOO MUCH MORE! Camping World was knowingly negligent with no regard for human life, NOT TO MENTION, I NOW LIVE IN MY TENT!

Camping World is a scam. Their service department is the most expensive in the world....and their people are not knowledgeable.

After they sell you an RV....You as a customer are no-longer a priority to Camping World. Their service department attempts to get inside your wallet any chance they can.

We bought a Forrest River heritage glen at their Hershey show. It has been nine months of *** Problem after problem.

First trip( one month of owning) in November the shower was filling up instead of draining. Called about the problem with the shower and decided to take it to an authorized Forrest River dealer since it was closer to home. They called to let us know the drain for the shower was drilled in the wrong spot. So that problem was fixed but they found more problems while fixing drain.

The duck work wasn’t ran to the master bedroom, and the tank level sensors weren’t hooked up. Next camper trip was taken in April and the awning was leaking and big window at the kitchen table was leaking. After this problem we decided we would take it back to camping world in HARRISBURG PA

(where we bought it to have all the problems fixed) leaking window, leaking awning, door stuck every time you opened it, flooring in both bathrooms coming up, most of not all trim was coming off, and no support around the drain of the shower. So camping world had our unit for a little over a month.

They said they had to order a new seal for the window and a part for the shower drain. My husband had to put blue tape on everything that needed to be fixed. Believe me we called serval times to see if repairs were being done. We get a call saying the seal came in and we could pick it up the next day( which we could not because we live three hours away and we work so we set pick up for that weekend) then we get a call that it was the wrong seal.

No pick up for that weekend cause they had to reorder it. Our camping trip was coming up so we continued to call and bug them about our unit. We had to speak to the service department manager just to get to the bottom of the window. Our technician went in vacation.

We get the call everything is fixed and we can pick it up. My husband gets there and the didn’t even open the bathroom door to look for blue tape. The floor wasn’t fixed and neither was the trim. My husband told them he was leaving until it was fixed and we needed our unit back since our trip was the following week.

So here we are on another trip and a storm comes in and what do you thinks happens!!! Our WINDOW is leaking and worse then the first time and so is the ANWING. So did camping world fix any of our problems!!! NO NO NO!!

We called the service manger Elliott and get his voice mail like always. We then call back to speak to the general manager Steve, what we get his voice mail also.

Please people do not buy your camper or expect any good repairs from HARRISBURG PA camping world!! This place needs to be closed for good!!

I purchased a 2018 travel trailer in 2017. I own a 2003 Honda Odyssey. The sales staff cunoodled and came up with a sway bar and some other CRAP to put on my van. I live about an hour away in the country. 7 miles away from home, my van starts smoking and losing power. Once I got home, guess what....The trailer has never been on the road since I bought it. CW told me I need to pay to get it back to Hope Mills for a consignment amount of $8000.00. I paid over $ 21,000 with the Elite service package. My harder work was to beat Triple Negative Breast cancer in 2018. Mr. Lemonis have a heart. You and your staff are supposed to know not to fashion an old Honda 03 Odyssey to pull a 2017 travel trailer. Give me my money back. I would NEVER treat people like this. Mr. Lemonis, your staff is buffering for you. NOT GOOD. It's NOT GOOD to be heartless.

My TV sat in the parking lot for two weeks for insurance work that was covered 100% by my insurance and not one person went out to look at it. There were cracked vent covers and clearance lights and water leaked inside... for this reason I will be getting rid of all camping world and good Sams items which include road side assistance. Just because of your stupid service manager!!! Guy couldn't find his way out of a paper bag.

Wish I had never bought this fifth wheel not what we really was looking for it was more than what we planned on paying for but for the real pushy salesman we end up buying it And we have problems every since we’ve had it now the AC and The hot water does not work on gas Ken does not get hot and I just found this I am in waiting on AC for a month and we live in this thing cannot believe we paid this much money for a big pile of junk and I’ve been pretty easy to get along with put it past two years I believe but I am tired of it Good thing we purchase extended warranty because if we haven’t had it I would’ve gave it back to them already My name is Larry Craven and Rhonda Craven we have a 2017 Rockwood the salesman said top of the line if this is top of the line y’all sell a lot of garbage

Bad repairs

Improper installation of new Slide out seals. Bottom seal where cut to shot. Letting moisture in with sidle closed . Then mole started growing on the kitchen Slide oven . Also I had a yellow 50 amp extension power cord disappeared the last time the unit was in.

Purchased a travel trailer Dec4. Did a walkthrough before funding was done. Unit delivered with TV mounted off center and was not locked into position for travel, tv bracket bent and numerous attempts to install bracket. 3 sets of holes in the wall, not even an attempt to repair. Refrigerator door was to be repaired, still can't open it. Screen in door ripped out. Customer pays for pre delivery inspection...I want my money back. I had my trailer put on land that has wild hogs. I paid 300.00 for a fence to be installed around my trailer. First I was told a technician would come out. Now they want to take it to the shop. I have no way of taking the fence down or putting it back up. Camping World needs to pay attention to detail of trailers being delivered. If someone would have walked through it before it was delivered none of this would an issue.

Terrible workmanship at recommended Camping World

On July 31, 2019 we had a tire blow out on our Montana fifth wheel and it destroyed the fender and also the small panel near the door next to the fender on the passenger side. On Aug. 6th we took it to Camping World in Katy, TX for an estimate on repairs. We left the RV and on Oct. 4th we picked it up as they said all the work had been completed. As we drove into the parking lot we saw our fifth wheel parked and we looked it over. First of all the panel next to the door had not been secured and it was "flapping in the breeze". Had we driven off it would have hit the new fender and broken off. They had to send a technician to the parking lot to "rig it up" so we could take our trip. The technician said the panel had not been secured at all and when we came back from our trip we could bring it back to be done correctly! We began our trip and noticed at the first overnight stop that the new fender was losing it's screws! The fender had not been installed properly and was coming off. My husband had to get screws to replace those and put them in himself. They supposedly washed the vehicle for us but there were grease marks next to the door and "new" fender and the skylights were still covered with some kind of soap and had not been cleaned at all. They had not checked everything to see if it all worked and the roof fans were stuck so my husband had to climb up and get them loose so they would open. They had put the roof coating on as we asked (at our own expense) but evidently it got onto the roof fans and stuck. A very poor job, we are not happy at all. The repair looks like a repair and not like it is supposed to look. Good Sam recommends Camping World but their work is subpar. We would like at least a partial refund as we would never take our RV back there for repair. Since I am going to write to the corporate office I will include pictures to them. Purchased a WHITE 54 x 27 replacement tub for mobile home. It is NOT white. Its almond. It was so flimsy and cheap the contractor had to build a feame to stabilize it. All attempts to contact customer service were ignored. Wrote a review on their website. Not put on site. BUY FROM A REPUTABLE COMPANY WITH BETTER QUALITY PRODUCTS!! Pics show actual product vs what is advertised. Id give zero stars if i could.

We have owned our RV for less then a year, This is the 3rd time it has been in the shop. first time they kept it for so long we missed 2 of our camping reservations which cost us money to cancel it.

2nd time was not very bad. 3rd time which is now they have had it for 15 days and can not get it back to us for our camping trip we had coming up for Halloween, When we told them we were going. NOW they want to charge us $149.00 to winterize it when we do it for nothing. They are just now ordering our parts they need.

When we bought the RV they told us by buying the protection plan which it is the Good Sam's Gold that we would move right to the front of the line. What they did not bother to tell us that everyone who buys an RV or any other type of camper that everyone has that Good Sam's Gold and that everyone moves to the front. We were told buy the seller Pete that they improved the newer class 3 models that the wind does not catch them as much. THAT IS NOT TRUE, They will say anything to get you to buy a camper from them.

They are a horrible place to do business with.

I can not believe we buy a new 2019 class 3 RV and have had to have it in the shop 3 times now. You people are no one I would send any of my friends or family to.

They lied to our faces

They lied to our faces! In a very friendly manner, they gave false assurances. After the service manager gave me his solemn word - unsolicited at that - that he would ensure the utmost care, concern, and respect for my "home", they left it parked, completely ignored, with the slides and doors hanging open to let in varmints! The repairs should have been done in a couple weeks, a month, tops! During the repairs, we called numerous times, asking for updates on progress. We were 'informed' of different stages of progress with each call (parts ordered, worked started, etc.). Finally, we were told it was done but after driving nearly 1,200 miles to pick it up, we discovered that nothing had even been started on it! The minor repair of a shelf inside had not begun. The assurances that they were checking on propane to keep our freezer running was a complete lie. Food thawed, rotted and then stunk up trailer - only to attract more pests! Dealing with slow or incompetent service is one thing. We feel deceived by them after false reports on status checks. This is exactly the type of neglect that will lead to an early demise of an RV!! We are full time RV'ers, this is our home, and Jeff, the service manager knew this. We have been truly homeless for a month and will be for another or more due to the neglect of this "service" department. This RV repair is costing us a lot more than parts and labor.

I just purchased a Simple Nest portable washing machine at Tom Johnson camping center. I used it and the spinner on the washing machine is horrible! It doesnt lock hardly and when it does, it lacks power. I had to wring all my clothes out by hand.

Do not buy camper from them

I went to camping world and waited 1hour before anyone asked me if I needed any help. After that, a salesman asked what I was looking for. I told him and he said they had one but I couldn't look at it. I was puzzled why I couldn't. He said the manager is living in it. I asked how do you plan on selling it? He didn't know. Lol I walked out of there fast!!!
