Camping World - Wheel Repair Review from Norman, Oklahoma

Camping world Okc, Ok. Don't take your trailer to the shop there. They have had our 5th wheel all summer long fixing things that it wasn't even taken in for. They have ruined our summer. The same old story week after week waiting on parts. Wrong parts or defective parts arrived wait on parts, wait on parts, wait on parts. We are waiting on a decal what for I don't know. Our only conclusion is that while it's in there it was involved in an accident but they don't know how it happened? I am so sick to my stomach dealing with these people. Jayco should be ashamed of their selves to let Camping World abuse their name. No one at Camping World cares. We called the CEO Marcus had to leave a message never had the decency to return my call. I guess his response was the form letter with his signature stating that he noticed we did not buy a cover for our 5th wheel? Ha! THEY HAVE RUINED OUR SUMMER on a 5th wheel we purchased from them not even 1 year ago. NEVER GO TO CAMPING WORLD FOR ANYTHING. They are the most unreliable, uncompassionate, underhanded so called business I have ever had to deal with. I think I may start shopping around for an attorney because it sounds like they damaged my trailer and my family is being put out ALL SUMMER LONG by their carelessness, not to mention causing damage to our less than 1 year old 5th wheel. WE will never use cw again they suck and I don't blame you for getting a lawyer and sue them for the way they treat peoples we he have use another dealer and they are the same way we have hired a lawyer to take care of the issue we have with this company... they all a rip off......

I agree, they are indeed the most unreliable, uncompassionate, underhanded so called business I have ever had to deal with.

My experience was recent also and their service in all departments is absolutely pathetic.

What a sorry bunch !!!

And they call themselves a reputable business. :>(

I purchase my first class A motor home from Camping World in Calera AL. It's has been an miserable experience. You've got to be crazy if you purchase there. The service dept gets a F ! Stay away ! I warned you !!

Camping World - I'm finding another RV service provider/store

After a week of trying to purchase over $3,000 in towing equipment and numerous phone calls to a specific salesman, I finally got verbal confirmation today that my order was placed. Notice I said 'verbal' as I'll believe the order is placed once I see an invoice and a charge to my credit card as the salesman hasn't followed through on much of anything he said he was going to do. This Camping World recently opened near Memphis, TN and once my parts are received and installed, that'll be my last visit to Camping World. I literally called for 5 days straight before the salesman took my call. Once he answered the phone he said, "I was just about to call you". Yeah right!!! If Camping World doesn't reinforce their customer service training at this new store I'm sure I won't be the only person taking my business elsewhere. Frustrated Doc

Camping World in Fletcher, North Carolina - I will NEVER buy from from this company again

We purchased a New 2014 Montana fifth wheel and they where so nice kissing our butts. Well, that didn't last long. We used unit one time in summer right after we purchased it. Everything worked fine. The next time we used it was Aug 2014 got to our vacation place and set up camper and the frig did not work. No, big deal we will run it on the gas. Did not work. We had no frig for 14 days with no frig. Call the service department at Caming World where we purchase it and NEVER could talk to anyone in the department. Left messages for at least three service people no return call back. I just need to know do we take our unit to the Camping World where we where at or can they send a repair person. We NEVER got a phone call back and when I did get to talk to someone once we got home the appointment they gave me was two weeks away. Now, they have our unit and it's going to take over two weeks to fix the frig and now we are having to get a hotel room for my son travel ball tournament that we would be taking our unit. They DON'T care about the customers, they want the sell and that's it. Never again will we be going to buy anything from this company. You buy a 60,000 plus dollar unit and they could care less if your having problems with it. They could use some work on customer service end.

Camping World - Poor Customer Service Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Very poor customer service in retail store. I asked the check out girl a question about a table I wanted, she didn't know the answer, so she asked a male associate. He said asked"?" to help you, and he didn't even acknowledge us. She went to find the other guy, who told her no I'm not moving anything to sell a display table. There were no more tables like this one. Not only did they lose the sale of a table, I also put up everything in my buggy! No customer service, then no purchases from me. Zelda Riley. Camping World in Saint Augustine, Florida - Boycott this place.

Bought a new Kodiak 29TQB from Jax, Fl. First trip out roof leaked. Brought it back and they said they fixed it. Second trip out still leaked and got in the front end cap and wrapped it. They have had it for 5 months and we have had it 2 months. We race motocross and need it every weekend. I'm out so much money because of this and Camping World could care less. No I'm sorry, what can we do to help, just straight lies and fake promises. I have wasted so much time and money on this it's rediculous. John Schuster from Jax location and Paul from service at St. Augustine loc. need to find a different profession because the have no idea what they are doing. Do not buy anything from Camping World, especially if they are gonna treat there customers like this. Wake up Camping World something needs to be done. Trust me

As if Camping World's poor customer service is not enough reason for customers to take their business elsewhere, now CEO Marcus Lemonis is reverse-boycotting its customers inviting them to take their business elsewhere based on their political views.

I cannot stand the service at Camping World. Every single time, without fail, I have had something repaired at Camping World (and it doesn't matter which Camping World I take it to all across the country) they break something else on my RV!!!

Took my class motor home in to have the generator repaired, been six weeks with nothing but lies and excuses, I have missed the best part of the camping season and all I have to show is a list of lies Now when. I call they put me on hold until I hang up

Camping World in Shelby, North Carolina - Leak in my Travel Trailer

I purchased a used trailer from Camper World in Cocoa. They stated it was in great condition .Had it less than 30 days and noticed a small roof leak. Called them .They said bring it in and they would take care of it .when I got there they said sorry but they weren't going to .Well I left called them the next day .And they agreed to fix the problem .So I brought it back .So when they were done they called me and said they fixed the leak but not the damage to the slide out ,floors etc .They said they weren't .I bought this in good faith, This was not a trailer on a junk heap .They represented this as a good trailer . So I will pick this up on Thursday this week .And thus I will start my efforts to tell the world not to buy from these people. This company are what I consider bad ,dishonest people. And i wouldn't send my worest enemy to buy from this company.

Camping World - Trouble with a leaky travel trailer

Purchased a travel trailer and within less than 30 days found out roof had a long term leak . Called camper world of cocoa and they said bring it in. I live 40 mile from them when I got there they said they would do nothing. When I home I found out it had been less than 30 days so they agreed to fix it. When I called yo see if it was fixed they said yes but wasn't going to fix any of the damaged caused by so the leak. I would have never purchased a leaky trailer. But they said to bad there not going to fix it. Do not purchase from theses people they are dis honest and do not put the customer first

Camping World - Review from Spur, Texas

Went in to Lubbock Tx store and wanted a A/C unit to put on my trailer. Waited for 45 minutes for parts guy to figure out which one I needed. He came back to the desk finally and gave me the price for it. I paid him in full and he ordered the parts. He said they would be in by the following Wednesday, and they would call me. Waiting until the following Saturday with no call. Called and asked about my parts and they said it was on back order and would be 2 weeks. Nobody ever called and they didnt care that I was upset. Done with Camping World poor customer service
