Camping World - Poor Customer Service Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Very poor customer service in retail store. I asked the check out girl a question about a table I wanted, she didn't know the answer, so she asked a male associate. He said asked"?" to help you, and he didn't even acknowledge us. She went to find the other guy, who told her no I'm not moving anything to sell a display table. There were no more tables like this one. Not only did they lose the sale of a table, I also put up everything in my buggy! No customer service, then no purchases from me. Zelda Riley. Camping World in Saint Augustine, Florida - Boycott this place.

Bought a new Kodiak 29TQB from Jax, Fl. First trip out roof leaked. Brought it back and they said they fixed it. Second trip out still leaked and got in the front end cap and wrapped it. They have had it for 5 months and we have had it 2 months. We race motocross and need it every weekend. I'm out so much money because of this and Camping World could care less. No I'm sorry, what can we do to help, just straight lies and fake promises. I have wasted so much time and money on this it's rediculous. John Schuster from Jax location and Paul from service at St. Augustine loc. need to find a different profession because the have no idea what they are doing. Do not buy anything from Camping World, especially if they are gonna treat there customers like this. Wake up Camping World something needs to be done. Trust me

As if Camping World's poor customer service is not enough reason for customers to take their business elsewhere, now CEO Marcus Lemonis is reverse-boycotting its customers inviting them to take their business elsewhere based on their political views.

I cannot stand the service at Camping World. Every single time, without fail, I have had something repaired at Camping World (and it doesn't matter which Camping World I take it to all across the country) they break something else on my RV!!!

Took my class motor home in to have the generator repaired, been six weeks with nothing but lies and excuses, I have missed the best part of the camping season and all I have to show is a list of lies Now when. I call they put me on hold until I hang up

Camping World in Shelby, North Carolina - Leak in my Travel Trailer

I purchased a used trailer from Camper World in Cocoa. They stated it was in great condition .Had it less than 30 days and noticed a small roof leak. Called them .They said bring it in and they would take care of it .when I got there they said sorry but they weren't going to .Well I left called them the next day .And they agreed to fix the problem .So I brought it back .So when they were done they called me and said they fixed the leak but not the damage to the slide out ,floors etc .They said they weren't .I bought this in good faith, This was not a trailer on a junk heap .They represented this as a good trailer . So I will pick this up on Thursday this week .And thus I will start my efforts to tell the world not to buy from these people. This company are what I consider bad ,dishonest people. And i wouldn't send my worest enemy to buy from this company.

Camping World - Trouble with a leaky travel trailer

Purchased a travel trailer and within less than 30 days found out roof had a long term leak . Called camper world of cocoa and they said bring it in. I live 40 mile from them when I got there they said they would do nothing. When I home I found out it had been less than 30 days so they agreed to fix it. When I called yo see if it was fixed they said yes but wasn't going to fix any of the damaged caused by so the leak. I would have never purchased a leaky trailer. But they said to bad there not going to fix it. Do not purchase from theses people they are dis honest and do not put the customer first

Camping World - Review from Spur, Texas

Went in to Lubbock Tx store and wanted a A/C unit to put on my trailer. Waited for 45 minutes for parts guy to figure out which one I needed. He came back to the desk finally and gave me the price for it. I paid him in full and he ordered the parts. He said they would be in by the following Wednesday, and they would call me. Waiting until the following Saturday with no call. Called and asked about my parts and they said it was on back order and would be 2 weeks. Nobody ever called and they didnt care that I was upset. Done with Camping World poor customer service

I called and located the part I needed ...told there was plenty of room for 43 ft mh towing, two of us pulled and no way out ..had to take loose back out into highway and re hook up.

Camping World of Burlington, Washington has horrible Service

I purchased a motorhome from these guys with extended warrantees since it had 2000 miles on it. I took it in numerous times for intermittent cabin water pump running. They finally agreed there actually was a problem. But never fixed it. I have called & left messages for the service coordinator only to be ignored by (Linda Montgomery). Finally the water pump has totally failed. Still no returned calls by Linda Montgomery. It took months to get a $3.00 part replaced on the microwave carousel. DON'T purchase from these people. Poor credibility. The sales guy promised excellent care & coverage but these people ignore problems that just might take some real work to repair. There was a heat baffle underneath that continually banged against the fresh water tank. It took 3 visits to finally get it fixed. There was a leaky shower hardware in the bathroom. After two repair attempts they replaced the hardware that had been cracked from frozen water before I purchased this unit. The spare key was missing and I was told many times that it was in a locked filing cabinet of theirs. Finally I had to get one made for around $300.00. They actually reimbursed that but it took over 2 months. I would definitely avoid this company. Shop around & go with a more reputable dealership.

Camping World - Service department

We purchased a new Sunset Trails from Camping World in Midway Fl two months ago...The electric jack that is used to hook onto back of truck hitch would not work.. My husband called service department explained our situation... Didnt know anything "but you will have to bring in for our techincan to check it out"... My husband asked if it had a fuse box... same responose..so sell me a camper but dont give customer service just excuses.....Mfg fixed over the phone..Call to speak to sales person who sold us the camper, always "with a customer" we were reassured "any problems" be sure to call him... This is the third camper we have purchased from Camping World and be assured it is our LAST!!!!

Camping World - Sales not customer friendly

My wife and I walked into the sales department of Camping World in Byron, Georgia on August 20, 2014 at approximately 1pm. The gentleman at the desk asked if he could help us and I advised him that we wanted to look at some campers and motorhomes. He asked that we step into an office so that he could get all of our information. I advised that I did not want to provide all my personal information because I did not want to be harassed by phone calls trying to push me into a purchase after I left. I asked, "Can't we just go out and look at the campers?" With a terrible attitude he threw his paperwork down on the desk and pointed toward the door and said "help yourself." My wife and I walked outside and found all the campers and motorhomes locked. Something he could have told us before sending us outside to walk around the lot in 100 degree weather for nothing. When we walked back inside the building and started leaving he just sit in his chair and grinned like a opossum eating briars. We have purchase thousands of dollars of camping products from Camping World in the past. After this experience, I will never do business with Camping World again.
