I work there got hired for service department.ive been lied to for a year that I've been there.ive been doing *** work.the service manager takes a guy form the wash rack and brings him in service department just cause he's family to one of the techs.thats ***.all drama all the time lies.lies.lies.which I had taken other job offer a year ago
Camping World Kingston, NY- terrible service and lies.
I brought my 2011 Keystone. Hornet in to have a leaky black water tank replaced. Their mobile service manager, Ellen Peters does not return phone calls and is extremely rude. When the tank finally came in 2 weeks later, they said they had ordered the wrong tanks and would reorder and eat the shipping. Later that day they switched the story and said they ordered the correct tank and that Keystone made the error. While there, it took them over 3 hours to replace a valve stem in a tire and then had the nerve to charge me $72 for it. When I asked for some consideration considering I sat there for over 3 hours and because of the tank issue, that said they would not do anything. Also, when I asked to speak to management, nobody would speak to me about my situation. It has been the worsted customer service. I have ever experienced. I will never do business with. Camping World again.
Camping World - Review in Dealers category
We were traveling for 5 weeks from ohio to Vancouver to Orcas Island to Eugene Oregon. We had a refrerator problen in Eugene. We went to the store in Coberg OR. for service. We arrived at noon, and the service mgr. Mr. Green stepped in to help us. This man and his commitment to help us stay on our journey was outstanding. Camping World in Lakewood Township, New Jersey - Very poor service
had apointment aug 6 too replace rear stablizer jacks have full warrenty never contacted warrenty company till aug 20 for part and never gave part number missed two trips never call u back took only one trip service sucks sep 8 still no trailer bought in lakewood nj never again told me parts would be sent overnite what do you think happend nothing talked too manager of store he said he would take care of it and what do you think happend nothing can't catch a break with company maybe i will get my trailer back for christmas that would be nice never would tell a friend or any one to buy anything from this store
Will never shop at any Camping World dealer again
E mail with our salesperson No one there to date has ever offered to negotiate price and quiet honestly, I wouldn't waist my time to drive back there for a 450 mile round trip to speak with anyone there even if you said the RV would be discounted 15K . Thats why I was there Monday . I think we made it very clear we were ready to purchase while there , to both you on Friday and your stand in, and we have never seen any willingness from anyone there to close the deal. I ask specific questions about the RV and no one answered the questions, or checked to see if they could get an answer. No one offered a test drive, or ask anything abouit writing up a contract in order to test drive . Pretty crazy for a QUATER MILLION DOLLAR PURCHASE No one there gave us the time of day, or said anything when we walked off when you associate said " well, id purchase the RV in Katy if its cheaper, we cant match their price" and offered no more assistance . I couldnt work there if I knew other people ran off my customers Its UNBELIEVABLE to me , that another Camping World dealer was more helpful and guaranteed me a cheaper price on the EXACT coach sitting on your lot to transfer it. Now Ive read the reviews of dealong with Camping World and its doubtful we will ever waist time at a Camping World again ,I half expected this because CW usually only states the list price of an RV and everything has to be negotiated which I dont do. For that reason, I will not deal with any Camping Work in the future and likely purchase and Entegra or Tiffin Product .
Camping World in Walnut Creek, California - $50.000 Mistake feel as if robbed
July 12th I purchased a New vengeance toy hauler by forest river and traded in a 38 foot Sandpiper at Grain Valley MO.. Our plans were to vacation in South Dakota and have our motorcycle. We didnt even get out of the parking lot and discovered the electric line was cut. The Salesman stated can you go ahead and take it and come back later??? No I couldn't even release the brakes. after 2 additional hours I left around 5PM and only made it 3 miles and the Docking Station cover fell off on interstate. I had to stay the night at a camp ground in order for them to open 1PM on Sunday. Good thing I did due to at the camp ground I found many faults in NEW 5th wheel. TV was missing, keyless door entry had no cover and broke, no owners manual, stain on ceiling above couch, celling lights not working, back stabilizing jack bent, front cap had a huge scrape. During the sale I felt as if it was hurry up and sign and get off their property. Finally Sunday the 13th we got out of there only with a piece of paper stating we owe you all the above. I pulled the 5th wheel 300 miles home and to my surprise while putting on tire covers I found 2 electric brake lines cut and when I opened the 5th wheel up the refrigerator had all but fell out of its cabinet. the cabinet was totally chewed up. We called them and their comment was can you bring back to us and we will fix it. NO BRAKES and make a comment like this. They did send some one to repair brakes and after a week of arguments on unsecured refrigerator they sent someone to pickup 5ht wheel. Our whole summer has been ruined and all we get after calling 100 times is parts are ordered, We promise we will we will call you on updates of camper. We bought this on July 12th and on July 14th we requested our trade back and reply was cant do due to paper work has already been signed. we have in the past 2 months paid over 2200 in sales tax, 2 payments on 5th wheel, tags and property tax, phone call after phone call and now the season is over I spent all this money and for what maybe next year I may get this piece of *** back. I took pictures of everything and finally talked to the manager and his comments were if I contact an attorney they cannot due anything for us due to then it will be between their corporate attorney and mine. I wish someone out there who has had the same issues as me and has an attorney pass this on to them

Never buy tires from Camping World. It took me 2.5 hours to get a new tire on my travel trailer after a blowout. I was told it would cost $125 but was then presented a bill for $179. I replaced a tire for the trailer the day before at a tire store in Arkansas for $101 and had a new one installed on a Sunday morning in the Yukon for $150 a few weeks before that. Camping World is a rip off.
Camping World - Customer Service Review
As I am now a ex camping world employee, I have never worked for a place that treats people as this company does. If there is a customer issue they don't seem to care. As I answered the phones for the Roanoke va store I had many customers call and be aggressive towards me, for lack of customer service. I was fired today as I was told I had a customer complaint from 3 weeks ago. When all n all its was because I went above the management to help this customer with his issue to where they camping world had done wrong. I had only been there 3 months. I've seen more issue arise than I've ever seen in a business. I've seen more turn around for poor management then I've ever seen. I will never say to anyone go buy your next event experience with them. Not 3 months ago and not now. The Lack of care in this business is very sad. I've had salesman say I've sold the unit it is their problem. Wait one minute. Have these people read what the meaning and value is to be about through good Samaritan? They sure havent. I will never put I worked for this rotten company anywhere but here. I was completely ashamed of how they treated customers. Customer are the base of the money's to be made. And how you get paid.
Camping World - Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania
Bought new motorhome in Sept.2013.Had it shipped from Roanoke Virginia to Harrisburg Pa. The driver oblivious to sounds of cabinet doors crashing and damaging the sink and floor in bath during transit was headtbreaking. When we took delivery the pdi clown rushed us out in 30 minutes so he could xeliver a more expensive coach and failed to show us how to operate most of the coach and we have never owned one before. We found 26 items to be repaired which most were not done or were dissatisfactory to us but after 5 months in the shop I just wanted it back. Contacted dealer numerous times when there but got little if any response. We finally got the service manager involved and he at least would call us back and tell us what was happening. Don't know if I would ever buy from them again as once they have you're sale they don't want to be bothered. The quality of repair was less than desired and I realised they are a jack of all trades but a master of none. I do however feel the problem is a lack of training more than a willingness to try to fix tje problem correctly.
Camping World - Wheel Repair Review from Norman, Oklahoma
Camping world Okc, Ok. Don't take your trailer to the shop there. They have had our 5th wheel all summer long fixing things that it wasn't even taken in for. They have ruined our summer. The same old story week after week waiting on parts. Wrong parts or defective parts arrived wait on parts, wait on parts, wait on parts. We are waiting on a decal what for I don't know. Our only conclusion is that while it's in there it was involved in an accident but they don't know how it happened? I am so sick to my stomach dealing with these people. Jayco should be ashamed of their selves to let Camping World abuse their name. No one at Camping World cares. We called the CEO Marcus had to leave a message never had the decency to return my call. I guess his response was the form letter with his signature stating that he noticed we did not buy a cover for our 5th wheel? Ha! THEY HAVE RUINED OUR SUMMER on a 5th wheel we purchased from them not even 1 year ago. NEVER GO TO CAMPING WORLD FOR ANYTHING. They are the most unreliable, uncompassionate, underhanded so called business I have ever had to deal with. I think I may start shopping around for an attorney because it sounds like they damaged my trailer and my family is being put out ALL SUMMER LONG by their carelessness, not to mention causing damage to our less than 1 year old 5th wheel.
