Don't believe salesman at camping world
we purchased a 2014 22ft.thor motorhome May 2014.During the walk thru we pointed out to our salesman two minor items that needed correcting.he replied take the camper out a couple of times and make note of any other problems and bring it back in and we will repair them!!!!( we assumed at no cost)we had four issues.we took it in Sept.picked it up 3 weeks later just to find out they were going to charge us $490.00.The sales manager reduced the total to $164.25. $73.00 of that was for an oil change, which we understand.one of the problems they lied about fixing was still an issue instead of fighting with them again my husband ended up fixing it.we will NEVER purchase or have any repairs at camping world Nashville tn. again!!!

Camping World - Repair Review
Took my camper to Camping World in Myrtle Beach SC to repair the TV and when I got it back was told that the slide motor had went out and would cost $600. It stayed at the shop for 5 months and when I went to pick up, it would not start and now they are saying that the invertor and alternator have gone out. The general manager stated that things happen and was also told that the unit had grimlins. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. They will lie and tear up things that did not have issues before.
Camping World, Bowling Green, Ky, should only be a retail store. Service takes forever and couldn't supply propane because no one was available that knew how to use the equipment.
Camping world in ft Myers Florida is a nightmare.
This is the place to go if you want unanswered messages. Lies. Poor service dept where one person doesn't know what the other is doing. They keep your rv for at least 4-5 weeks because the parts are slow to get. They are all wonderful until they make the sale and get their commission. Now you are history. Doesn't seem like they check their inventory when it comes in. After one outing I had a list of 10 issues which had to be fixed. That was in August. It's now Nov. and we have to leave it there again because they didn't fix a major problem. NEVER AGAIN!!

Camping World - Website Review
Bought a mattress topper on the website based on good reviews. Foam broke down quickly but we realized the ONLY returns on camping world are for unopened unused merchandise & so NO returns for faulty products. You only find out it is faulty by using it after all. I submitted a bad review & it was reviewed by camping world staff & rejected. I now realize they must reject most bad reviews because almost all thier products have only positive reviews. Very deceptive. I'm only glad I didn't spend more than $180 to learn how deceptive they are. We will purchase at least a few new RVs in our lives since we are still young and love the lifestyle but camping world will not be on our list of dealers to visit.
Camping World in Buffalo, New York - Liars and the theives do not trust them
1800 miles to pick up an rv that I was told countless times by more than one was solid and would get me back home but when I drove out of the parking lot I qickly discoved they never even drove it thing woldnt even do 45 mph let alone 1800 miles . Spent the rest of the day arguing and listening to more lies . The next day at around noon I asked again . I knew this rv was going no where so I called a salvage yard to.pick it up . Then made flight reservations to take me home . A terrible nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone
Camping World in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Structure crack in our 5th wheel within 4 months
We have been fighting with Camping World Hanover, PA since a week after we purchased our Fuzion Chrome 5th wheel. We have been saving and looking forward to this on our retirement. It has been nothing but a migraine headache. They had our camper for a month and did nothing to it. Each time we wanted to use it we had to go there and get it and then return it. Nothing works right, nothing fits right and Camping World and Keystone RV, the manufacturer, keep blaming each other. We were promised a new patio railing. It was to be there 2 days after we were heading out west. We come back 2 months later and have an appointment to get EVERYTHING FIXED from the lists we gave them like 4 times. 10 days later we find out the ONLY thing they did was winterize it. We have no idea how serious this structure crack is or if we can even use it anymore.
Camping World in Providence, Rhode Island - Owners Manual for Colman CTU297RE
In April 2014 I purchased a 2014 Colman CTU297RE from Jerry Byrd. I haven't Received an Owners Manual as of yet I have Contacted Colman and Dutchman all I got was I will send you one for two months I haven't received one. Two Months age when I talked to my Salesman he didn't have the time to get me one. Is this how campers world does business? I Spent $35000.00 to purchase it . Who do I Need to Contact? campers world headquarters ,The Better business bureau ? this customer is not happy. I have never bought a Camper that had no owners manual . And the cooperation from the Sales person obtaining one is none.
