Camping World in Troutdale, Oregon - BAD SERVICE AND SALES DEPT DOES NOT CARE EITHER

We are going through a nightmare right now. We dropped off our new bumper pull Coleman trailer 6 weeks ago to have 4 things repaired. 1) 2 dead batteries no water in them? 2) shower water comes out the hot/cold *** not the shower head. 3) Kitchen tilt out off the tracks and a rubber gasket not there. 4) Hook on outside to hold door open is has only 1 screw in it because there is nothing behind the second hole, it was screwed into nothing, hollow area. 5) The door on the control panel falling off because it too is only held in with 1 screw, top screw also screwed into hollow area. So we had called for update, was told part on order for the shower 2 weeks ago, still not in. Thought we should talk to the sales dept that sold it to us, they said they would handle it. They would even drive it up to us since we had made a 6 hour drive the day it was to be ready. According to the service dept the sales dept has not ever spoke to them. It goes round and round, did I mention we bought a $3000.00 extended service warranty, guess what? nothing is covered. not one screw, gasket,nothing everything is on us to pay. So here we sit, with no place to move to and the weather is turning bad where we would be ready to set up home on the snake river, but no trailer and no one at the Troutdale,Oregon Camping World gives a ***. So buyers beware and if you think you are a valuable customer... think twice or maybe three times.

Camping World in Cincinnati, Ohio - Had a good experience

We drove from Cincinnati to camping world in Berkley MA due to a good deal on a as is used trailmanor. We were worried, but things were better than we expected. They checked a few things and sent more picts before we bought it, then drove to get it. They even gave us a gift - waste hose and showed us everything about the camper, even though we had paid already. We visited mountains in PA, new york and a few spots on the way there and back making it much funner. Well worth the trip, was 13 hours one way. Seems like a long crazy trip, but we went for it, and worked out great. We even used the camper on the way back and was glad they showed us everything as we were first time camper owners.

I will never buy anything from camping world again. The first year I had the trailer, they were great.

Now that I've had it s year not so much. They do not help you anymore. No one does house calls anymore. You try to call and the phone just rings and rings.

Explanations are useless.

They may as well speak Latin! Makes no sense and of no help whatsoever.

Last year bought a used camper and they were great they made good on every promise they made would and I will buy from them again

Camping World in Wolfforth, Texas - The worst customer service i have ever seen.

We just bought a brand new bumper pull travel trailer from them for our deer lease. When we got it all the way to our deer lease which is two hours away, the air conditioner stopped working and they had hooked up our satellite TV system up wrong. We called that following Monday and they could care less what our problems were. They didn't offer to help out at all and refused to send a technician fix it. We ended up having to drag the trailer back to them with the manager telling us he would jump it to the front of the line and get it right back out. They have had it over a week and it is still not ready. It is a shame you spend good money on a brand new trailer and get this kind of service. It is deer season and we cant use it for what we bought it for. They don't care about you at camping world and they show that. Never buy anything from this place, you will regret it!

The comment I have is NOT a good one!!!! I AM COMPLETELY FED UP WITH THE STORE IN CHARLESTON!!!! We have taken the coach there on a number of occasions and it takes the service dept god knows how long to return the unit and it STILL NOT BE REPAIRED!!! I have had to fix several problems either myself or through a different service center. We have now tried to trade out of this unit for various reasons and when we go to Camping world in Charleston SC we are told that the unit we are looking at either has "issues" or they make the payments so outrageous that we will eventually go away and they can move on to the next sucker!!! (have tried on 4 different units) We have asked repeatedly to speak with a regional manager who refuses to speak with us and when asked about this through the phone center we are told that the issue has been resolved!!! RESOLVED??? If it was handled I wouldnt be bashing your company YET AGAIN!!! So at the end of the day it is MORE than obvious that Camping world does NOT want to be bothered with us and I am going to continue my trend of telling everyone I know and meet to NOT buy from Camping world Unless you like being rammed in the kiester!!! I am in sales myself and I speak to ALOT of people on a weekly basis. I know I have swayed a handful of people from not buying from this dump and hopefully I can sway more!!!

DO NOT do business with Camping World

I purchased three different campers from three different Camping World locations and have discovered nothing but a bunch of two faced liars in the Tampa location. They had me drive from Homestead (South of Miami) and waste two trips to the dealership (Hundreds in fuel) - spending five days each time sitting in the parking lot, and they did not complete any of the promised work. Finally, the sales manager Sean with some arrangement with the general manager came up with an ingenuous plan for the solution. They, Sean the sales manager and Camping World, come up with the Trick of the day and I fell for it. "Sean" I will reimburse you with gift certificates if you will go and get the work done elsewhere and this will save money because our shop rates are high and we are too busy right now. Well, sounded good to me and my new wife of one month. Back home and finally a way to stop the leaks, fix the front end, the inverter, wiring, balance the wheels, and the list goes on and on of the problems that were promised to be fixed. I come home, get the best deals I can to get the work done, pay hard cash for the work, and then the hiding began. Yep, Sean won't answer the phone, the receptionist puts me on hold and lies to me, and the main office "Wherever that is at" won't return calls either. I am seeking the resolution in small claims court this week - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE - CROOKS - LIARS AND THIEVES.

Nothing has been resolved one month now with same problems, fridge still not working, funny how it worked before we took it to Campingworld, they lied to us about, 45 point inspection, paid $229.00, for it, even though it was never completed!!! Lied to us about price of appliance's, and install!! Campingworld reviews of Goodyear shows customer buying same appliance and given the sale price, which we were not!!! A $400.00 differance!!! So with all of the major things wrong with our RV, we are pretty much just using it for shelter, can't keep any food, cant' cook, have to hurry through showers before hot water heater stops each time, have to use heat sparingly, due to propane leaks, inventor heating up causing short throughout RV, propane leak detectors, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors not checked, and none of these important life saving products are working at all, etc, etc, etc!!!!

Camper Tv Review

Took my camper to Camper World on 501 to have a Tv fixed and steps told them I had $600.00 to spend. They kept it four months created issues. By the first of November Fleet had to fix my caper. By now I had tp spend $2000.000. Stay away from Camping zworld. Trouble

we purchased a 2014 22ft.thor motorhome May 2014.During the walk thru we pointed out to our salesman two minor items that needed correcting.he replied take the camper out a couple of times and make note of any other problems and bring it back in and we will repair them!!!!( we assumed at no cost)we had four issues.we took it in Sept.picked it up 3 weeks later just to find out they were going to charge us $490.00.The sales manager reduced the total to $164.25. $73.00 of that was for an oil change, which we understand.one of the problems they lied about fixing was still an issue instead of fighting with them again my husband ended up fixing it.we will NEVER purchase or have any repairs at camping world Nashville tn. again!!!

I feel bad for you. But you should call your local library and get the CEO's name and phone # and write him directly.

That's what I did and got most of my money back for the inept driver who TRIED to deliver my RV camper and damaged it.

I wouldn't accept delivery and my damaged yard they paid (when I provided the receipts for most of the repair--still waiting on the last receipt to be refunded to me). Horrible company in Friendsville, TN too!

Camping World - Repair Review

Took my camper to Camping World in Myrtle Beach SC to repair the TV and when I got it back was told that the slide motor had went out and would cost $600. It stayed at the shop for 5 months and when I went to pick up, it would not start and now they are saying that the invertor and alternator have gone out. The general manager stated that things happen and was also told that the unit had grimlins. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. They will lie and tear up things that did not have issues before.
